In Ulm, we’re shouting about the opening of our first hotel from the rooftops – or rather from the large carillon at the Abt department store: our Motel One is located directly on Münsterplatz. The over 100-year-old department store has an impressive exterior that features an old carillon clock made from Meissen porcelain. It plays Swabian songs five times a day during summer and Christmas melodies in winter.
