Beautiful hotel, so comfortable and clean. Can’t fault it one bit!
A third very comfortable stay at Motel One. However having suffered a shattered pelvis since my last visit I realised I would feel far more secure if there was a grab rail in the shower area. (the towel rail doesn't count!)
Pros: Great staff, location, breakfast area, cleanliness, service Cons: Not the view that I paid for, expensive, very basic furniture (no bedside tables or closet)
My wife and I spent 3 wonderful nights at this hotel and can’t fault it in any way. The hotel itself is very clean and tastefully decorated which enhances the calm and welcoming feeling. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming, always happy to help and very knowledgeable. Nothing appeared to be to much trouble. The rooms are not big but are ideal for what we needed and as it’s in the middle of the city we weren’t disturbed by outside noise. BRILLIANT STAY
Check in was fast and conducted by a very pleasant and welcoming young man.Our room on the second floor was comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast the following morning was very good with a wide selection to choose from.
The rooms do not have phones, refrigerators or coffee makers. This is very inconvenient. Moreover, ice can only be obtained from the bar. Lastly, the breakfast selection is limited and could use enhancement.
Modern Hotel, Excellent location. Perfect for overnight stays. 5 star room cleanliness. Efficient and helpful staff. Next time we are in Manchester overnight Motel One will be where we stay. Thank You.
Found the room too hot even with the window open. A fridge would have been good especially as the room was so hot.
I enjoyed my stay in your hotel in Hannover city. However please include more vegetarian options for breakfast. It would be helpful for visitors from Asia.
Nice hotel in great location for city centre , staff were great and answered any questions that we had during stay . Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of foods available .
Loved our Stay at Motel one in Dublin. Everything perfect, room lovely, great breakfast and location. Staff friendly.
Lovely hotel to stay rooms are very comfortable very clean Staff are very nice and helpful when we arived we were told they given us a disabled room as I have bed legs thanyou so much
Quiet. Relaxing. Pleasant lobby. Comfortable bed...;)
The location was excelent. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable and we liked the bar area. Our two rooms were adjacent and available on arrival. Great value for money.
We've stayed before, and like the location and the size of the rooms. Bed very comfy. The tea/coffee mugs are good, but it would be nicer if the cups for the bathroom weren't paper cups. More teabag choice would be good. Less astringent soap please. Hoping the revamp will keep/improve the brightness of public areas
Reception , Bar and breakfast were excellent.
Staff couldn’t be more helpful!
Location couldn’t be more central, just over the road from Waverley Station. Staff were SUPER helpful, friendly and accommodating. Room was spotless and had everything we needed. Decent value for money too. Would definitely recommend and stay again
Fab location, friendly helpful staff. Clean room, comfy beds. Lovely powerful shower and fluffy towels. Arrived earlier than check-in but our room was ready so that was a bonus. Only suggested improvement would be maybe a few more options at breakfast
As always a good choice for a pre-night to an early flight. Rooms are quite small and with basic equipment, but clean. It's a pity that there are few options for going out to eat. Either you go to the airport, which only has fast food, or there are two simple, small restaurants (a pizzeria and a Greek place) in a side street.
Useful location Room spartan Bed is basically OK but the combination of covers/sheets is not ideal - I have to unmake the bed to get the covers to keep me warm. I hate cushions - just leave them out.
Only one negative comment about Motel one. The chairs around the bar area are quirky / stylish but a lot of them are very uncomfortable to occupy. Put us off from visiting the bar unfortunately. The hotel in general is clean and comfortable and very nicely situated in the center of newcastle.
We stayed in room 440 and room 442. Later we were switched from room 440 to 420 due to water damage in the bathroom. Good service. While we were staying at Motel One, we experienced a fire alarm. I woke up to the smoke alarm in our room making noise. At first I couldn't hear where the sound was actually coming from, but after I turned on the light, I could hear that it was the fire alarm in the ceiling. There should be flashing lights in the alarm - what if I was deaf? I couldn't immediately hear that the alarm had gone off throughout the hotel either. But otherwise it worked well - the fire trucks arrived quickly and luckily it was a false alarm. The hotel could have given us all something to drink, since we had rushed out of bed in the middle of the night. Several people were scared and children were crying. This is the fourth time our family has stayed at your Motel and everything is excellent - we would happily recommend the hotel to others.
Everything was perfect. Everyone who works there was meticulously polite and helpful. My room was lovely. It was so clean that you'd think that nobody had ever stayed in it before and the bed was so comfy that I wanted to take it home with me! Breakfast was great. Everything was fresh and there was a really good choice. Oh and the nicest croissant that I've ever had. There is clearly a lot of thought and care put into the rooms and the experience and all the little details that make it a lovely place to stay. I wish I'd been there for more than one night.
I arrived realizing that I didn't actually have a booking - I always book Motel One when I am in London, which is at least 6 times a year, so I must have simply forgotten to book. The colleague at reception was super helpful and understanding, and got me a room without further ado. Clean and quiet room, despite being just opposite the lift-banks. Many thanks!
I love Motel One in general and the Alexanderplatz hotel is the one I stay at most regularly outside the UK. Despite being a motel one member the guy who checked me and my brother in law in decided we had booked via booking.com and did not offer us a bottle of water and allocated rooms on the noisy railway side of the hotel
Absolutely perfect and genuine staff lots of respect and prosper from me and my brother we really enjoyed our stay in our old homeland and you country I'll of course think about your hotel next time I'm in Germany
A charming hotel with cozy decor. I chose it because of its logistically convenient location. Getting to the airport and city center by public transport was quick, with metro, tram, and train stops just a few hundred meters away. Very quiet – no city noise reached the room. The rooms were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Reception and service were friendly, and we were able to leave our luggage in the storage room. The hotel room had everything I needed. When I travel in Europe, I always look for accommodation from the Motel One chain – reasonable prices and cozy lodging. We’re grateful :) and would definitely stay again next time. Highly recommended.
Everything clean tidy and ready for me. Reception polite and efficient.
+ Very nice new Motel One hotel - everything looks good, nice rooftop terrace and friendly staff! - a chair + desk in the room for working would be nice!
Beautiful hotel in great location
Great staff, great hotel in general (atmosphere, style, offering at bar incl. rooftop, breakfast, location). It was my third stay and more will follow. Only slight improvement: More storage space for clothes in the room.
Very clean and the window opened so there was fresh air.
Very clean,friendly staff,good value
Well placed for all transport links, the chic mix of decorative rock & modernism with added warmth welcomes the traveller. Rooms are clean & does the job for a couple of days in the city. The continental breakfast was excellent, but could have benefited from a hot plate of bacon & scrambled eggs. Over all really happy with the hotel & the friendly stafff.
The waste bin in the bathroom wasn't emptied The bathroom door is difficult to keep in closed position Difficult to access the window for opening/closening - quite warm in the room Why not breakfast from 0630? Very high prices, although we have a company contract Most important: One of our bookings (Primo) was cancelled for one night - and we didn't cancel. My colleague had to drive more than an hour and find private accomodation (Bjørn Hågan (7/4-10/4)
Amazing location. Lovely decor. Clean rooms. Wonderful staff.
Alles Top!
This is our favorite hotel in Dublin - very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff, quiet room, overall very nice atmosphere in the hotel and such a convenient location. This time we got an extended check out time for free until 3pm and a very smiley waiter when we got our midday coffee - couldn't be better!
Stayed for 1 night with my family. Picked it because of the location near the train station as we came in late from the airport and needed to leave the next day. The room was clean, bed was excellent and staff was friendly and helpful. Room itself is very basic (no mini bar? Coffee machine?) and not so spacious. Overall, it met our needs but i would not recommend to stay for more than 1 night. For the price I paid one can expect a bit more.
Trendy but not elegant
We had a very good weekend break with you.
Hi ,I was late for my check in, but i felt welcome. The man at the desk was verry friendly and helpful. The rooms are verry comfortable and clean; The breakfast was verry good - and the fact that breakfast was served in the bar made it special.
Excellent location.
excellent value for the money
Great location, great room but tiny bathroom and the showers aren't great.
It was a brilliant stay nothing could have bettered it.
Great location , great staff , clean modern hotel
I booked a standard room for 3 nights. When we arrived, our room was not ready so we were told for £20 a night extra, we could check in immediately to an upgraded room with a wardrobe and sofa. We got to the room and it was the standard room, not upgraded. We told the front desk and they assigned us to a different room. That room had a wardrobe, but no sofa. We told the front desk and they asked if we wanted to move again. I did not feel like moving out suitcases AGAIN. So, I basically paid £60 extra for nothing. There were 2 chairs in the room, but the one at the desk was broken. The first morning, we put the 'Do not clean' sign on the door, but the second day we wanted the room cleaned and didn't put the sign on, but they did NOT clean the room. The lounge and bar were very nice.
One of the best nights sleep I’ve had . Room was very quiet and there was everything you needed in the room . I will definitely use them again
