Very basic rooms but adequate (unless you plan to spend all your time in your hotel room!), comfortable bed, great price, good service at the bar, and the hotel is incredibly well-positioned for visiting the inner town, with palaces, museums, the Opera house, restaurants and bars, and the Spanish riding school amongst other sites all within 5 minutes walk. Only downsides were no kettle in the room, a picture hung on any one of the walls in the room would have added a bit of character to it, and the cardboard cups in the bathroom were not replaced.

Had a great visit with the family and a small dog and was very grateful to get a list of local dog parks etc. Staff very friendly and the location is just excellent.

A very nice hotel with top price, the room very clean so beautiful all the areas and good breakfast. The hotel is in an incredible position near all the principal monuments. Sure i return here.
- the front desk staff during check-in were unfriendly, arrogant and impolite. - my room had very little to do with the image on your website. - the stay would have been more pleasant if there had been the possibility of paying for an extra bed.

Location top. Check in / reception without major issues but the room could have been available upon our arrival (12:00 o'clock). Room spartan but absolutely satisfactory. Audio insulation not OK - what was going on in corridor could be heard like it was in the room. Luckily, not a lot was going on after 23:00 o'clock. Breakfast absolutely satisfactory. The biggest minus - the lack of parking place. As a consequence, the price for parking amounted to one third of the price of bed & breakfast. In total, good value for the money / good price / performance (excluding the price of parking - with the parking included, the price / performance was on the lower limit of good / acceptable).
Fair price and excellent service but needed more than one towel in the bathroom
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the great hospitality!
The only problem during the winter is season is that is very cold in the room because there is no heating system only by air conditioning and the air conditioning did not work on warm so this is very disappointing
Uncomfortable pillows are the only thing you should improve.

Perfect location, fabulous price. Rooms are sleek and minimalist. The lovely bed linens make it seem even a bit luxurious. The historic detail makes the common areas interesting. Always clean. A lively, well designed bar.
As mentioned in my previous feedbacks, I would like to highlight again the outstanding kindness, politeness and professionalism of your team at your Motel One Vienna Staatsoper. At the Reception, Sharwan Khalaf, Anna Schenter, Oliver, Florian Pail, Marlis Kianek, Emre Emengen are doing an excellent job! Their friendliness and customer orientation are really super. The same is true for your team in the Bar. Gonzalo Cannizzaro, Dustin Putz but also the female colleagues working there are doing a great job and it is always a pleasure to sit there and have a drink. Last year I stayed 29 times in this hotel and I always felt welcome. I will continue to be there in 2025 for my business trips to Vienna.

There was confusion over my "be One" membership, which I had tried to resolve in my stay in Berlin earlier in the week. The room was small and barely sufficient even for a two night stay.
The hotel is in a very good location, close to all the attractions on foot. Although we have stayed in a hotel of this chain before, as members that we are, this time we were disappointed as they gave us a room different from the one of our choice and after our request, they changed our room the next day. The first room was so small and uncomfortable, that the bathroom door opened next to the bed and instead of a window there was a gray wall... The room we changed to, which was of our choice, was satisfactory, although it needs to have some kind of wardrobe and refrigerator. I don't know if next time I should make a reservation from a well-known booking website and not directly... The breakfast was satisfactory and the common areas very good. It would be good if the reception staff were friendlier, since when they spoke to you they didn't even look at you... we are not talking about smiling.... However, if you don't care about any of the above, your stay can be pleasant.

My room was very clean and comfortable bed. But if I have a electric kettle in the room makes me happy. The location is perfect!!
We booked 4 rooms. Severe cleaning issues!!!! On check in, in one room there was fals eyelashes glued to the table beside the bed. Disgusting! We asked the front desk to send cleaning. They didn't ! In the evening we cleaned it ourselves!!!! The day before our checkout didn't cleaned our rooms, when we asked why, the front desk said they didn't have the time today. What??? We stayed for 5 nights,cleaning didn't changed our sheets once!!! In one room we ran out of soap, had to ask twice for a new bottle. One elevator was out of service through our whole stay. Breakfast is good but nowhere to seat... An 81 years old woman does'nt need to climb the second floor for breakfast, or to seat near the front door where it's freezing whenever it opens. We are in vienna 4-5 times a year, most probably won't come again to your hotel.

It was ok
A good hotel in a an excellent location to explore Vienna. On the positive side and besides the location, we should note the breakfast with good selection of biological products. On the negative side we point the small rooms and the absence of mini bar/fridge (not needed in our case although some visitors may need it). The staff was friendly and helpful, the common areas of the hotel are clean and beautiful.
Bathroom could have more/better amenities
Very convenient to all old town tourist sights. Friendly service staff, great bartender! Note: no amenities in room other than hair dryer - worked out for us but note no refrigerator or coffee/tea in room.

I had a few issues with this Motel One. First they lost my reservation and had me in panic mode. I tried calling and no one would pick up the phone. They finally responded to my email. I got to the hotel and they indicated my room was not ready and they wanted to give me a better room as I would be there for a week. I went away for a few hours and when I got back I did not get a better room and in fact I am not sure I got the room I requested in the first place. Also it would be nice to have an area where guests could use a kettle. I am recommending this hotel as long as you know what you’re getting, don’t expect a lot and the location is great.
We had a perfect stay again at the Motel One Staatsoper Vienna: great rooms with perfect sleep comfort, excellent and very friendly staff. Thank you for a beautiful stay and we are look forward to coming back.
that surprise me was the reaction from the receptionist to block my door key in order to go done to ask a new one! when i ask why they said that i have 2 persons in one of the rooms i booked! really i was stuck , for me there reaction to block the key wasn't the correct one! was so easy to find a different way! email , call my mobile! Any how was there mistake as i rent two rooms one for me and my wife and the other for my son who was a long! sure if he was with another person i will be informing the hotel! No reason for me to react like a person who will Exploitation the hotel. Any how is finish and i understand that they have to do there job with there way and i accept is even i disagree! Be sure that i will continue stay at your nice hotel. Wish you Merry Christmas and all the best for 2025.

Great location!, avoid room 082 at mezzanine the bed is horrible!! I did not sleep one single nite!!! The breakfast is the same at these hotels, fresh and good, only problem the hotel has many many rooms and the breakfast food area is small and cramped, also the sitting is a little cramped or you can sit anywhere else but not very convenient.

To już kolejny mój pobyt w Wiedniu, w Motel One Wien Staatsoper. Hotel spełnia moje oczekiwania, zwłaszcza w zakresie centralnego położenia i bliskiej odległości do głównych atrakcji miasta (sal koncertowych, galerii, muzeum). Komfort i klasa. Obsługa w recepcji jak zawsze przesympatyczna, pomocna. Bardzo polecam i już planuję kolejny przyjazd!
Świetne położenie, bardzo blisko opery. Wystrój, obsługa, śniadania na najwyższym poziomie.Ceny w barze w lobby przystępne. Polecam.
