The room was very clean although small. The location was excellent next to the train station. Very modern and comfortable hotel. It would be a nice touch to have a kettle and tea bags for guest to have a cup of tea in the room.

Everything was fine and as expected.
Motel One is what it is, perfect for short city/business trips. This time the service I received was truly outstanding as well. There were a number of problems with my check-in, all caused by me - number of guests, a drastic change to my timings, a half-complete online check-in - but these were sorted out fully and swiftly with no fuss at all in a helpful and friendly way, despite the hotel being completely full due to a big trade fair. When I finally did arrive long after midnight the always wonderful bar/night staff at Köln/Messe couldn't have been more welcoming and cheerful. Many thanks to all, a credit to Motel One. I will of course be back :)

There was a very welcoming and helpful member of staff at reception. The location was fine for my needs - I was breaking a long train journey - because the connection to/from the main station is very easy. I arrived quite late and took a walk across the bridge to the Dom and back - I'd recommend that. The area round the hotel is a bit stark, though, and it wasn't that easy to find my way around. Perhaps the website could have better directions for pedestrians?
Nice rooms well soundproofed from the railway station. Large bar area with outside terrace. A little difficult to find by car, if you've not been here before.

I enjoyed my weekend break at Motel Koln Messe, the location was ideal for the rail station. My mobile keycard didn't work so I had to obtain a keycard from reception but that was quickly resolved by reception staff. My room was clean and comfortable, the small personal safe was useful. Bed was comfortable and the walk-in shower was very good in the bathroom. .
Hi, the stay was great, we cant fault the service or comfort of the rooms or the location. We had a great time. The reason I cant give 10 is because when booking we requested to add 1 child via your email and webform and received a response to email back with details to go ahead and book to send through address details. I did this and got no response for 3 weeks. I ended up booking a single adult through the website and then emailing with a booking number to add a child on. This worked but was frustrating at the time not knowing if we had secured accomodation or not. We also desperately needed a fridge in the room to keep our water cool for the days sightseeing. The shower could have also been more powerful.
Excellent location next to the Cologne Messe station and an easy walk across the bridge from the old town. My only criticism would be that windows on the rooms along the outside of the building are locked, well mine was. But the windows on the rooms overlooking the central courtyard all seemed to open. But otherwise everything was great, online check-in, staff, room, breakfast, couldn't find anything to fault. A great Motel One experience once again.

Very clean, great design, generally nice rooms. The staff were also very friendly. Small minus points for the somewhat narrow bed (was it really 1.6m wide?) and the weird shower construction (spilled water out into the bathroom).
Great place to stay. Clean, tidy and right next to the station. A 15 minute walk across the Rhine on a lovely bridge to the old town. Perfect.

The ventilation in the bathroom was very loud and could not be switch off. This made me not sleep well. And since the main thing, I was there for, was sleeping, I rated so low. Some more options for Breakfast would be nice.
I do like Motel One a lot, especially location, bar/lounge with work areas, superb friendly staff, cleanliness. Coffee-making facility and a small fridge in room would be desirable.
As a wheelchair user, I found the accessible room very good except for the inadequate stool in the bathroom as it is unstable on a sloping wet room floor. A fixed fold down seat would have been much easier to use.

Very good hotel for business trip. Rooms small but clean. Bed comfortable. Very silent rooms considering the motel is near the railway station. You don't hear anything from outside. Also very good sound insulation between rooms. The breakfast need a lot of improvement. Not so many choices, no warm food, every morning the same food and the cofee from machines could be tastier. Anyway I would recommend this motel for business trip to anyone.

The most things are perfect. Therefore a 8 The breakfast is complete with bread, pastries, yoghurt fruit, a selection of meat, cheese and also vegan options. Unfortunately no warm selection of food like scrambled egg. That would make it perfect for me. Also i’m not used having my breakfast low seated. The balance of high and low seated was not good for me. Sometimes all high seated places were occupied. Then when it was real busy the dirty plates stayed too long in the tables. This was during a fair and it seemed that most guests in the hotel had the same wake-up time. I stayed 5 nights. 2 nights i booked extra for my wife and i got extra towels. The second night i missed the towels. The reception and lounge are very luxury, then the elevator as well. If you go out of the elevator and walk through the gangways the finishing is a bit poor. The rooms and bathroom then again are very smart and elegant. Maybe people with more then only one suitcase might complain about space. But normally the size of the room is OK. The air refreshing system in the bathroom makes some noise. I recommend to close the bathroom door when you go sleeping. The lights in the bedroom can be dimmed, but the lowest value is too much to leave on all night. And 1 nightlight is missing, just a tiny light to leave on at night.
We are very satisfied with our stay at the One Messe Hotel in Cologne. The welcome at reception by Daniel was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was ideal for working at the fair or touring the city. The breakfast buffet was good and the hotel had a friendly bar , Moody and his partner . We highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Cologne.
Prices are too expensive. Very often it is above 100 EUR per Night. Breaksfast ist too expensive too. No fried eggs. The room was pretty cold by arrival.

Przy samym hotelu znajduje się dworzec ICE Köln Messe/Deutz, skąd na drugi brzeg Renu można dotrzeć w kilka minut szybką koleją S-Bahn. Na piękną starówkę warto także przejść się spacerem przez most Hohenzollernbrücke. Tutaj warto zwiedzić katedrę kolońską, Museum Ludwig, muzeum rzymsko-germańskie i oczywiście muzeum czekolady.
