Really lovely young lady at check was very pleasant, polite and friendly, giving a great first impression of stay. Hotel is in a central location and the price for the stay was very good value
Really pleasant if short stay. Great location- Room clean & functional- really appreciated being allowed to check in early on a cold windy Sunday. Receptionist ? Kayleigh was particularly helpful, friendly and a complete professional.
Great service and brilliant rooms. Only small issue I had is that there was only 2-3 channels on the TV. Apart from that everything was spot on
Great hotel near where we needed to be very helpful
Conveniently located, gorgeous interiors. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Room was impeccably clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again, thank you.
Beautiful bar and lounge area. Great shower and comfortable bed. But no hair dryers in the room, which would be handy to have. My daughter and I will be back x
All is perfect
Lovely stay, room was upgraded as it was my birthday, nice touch. We have stayed here before, only thing I ask for that there never is in the room is decaf tea bags however after my first stay I just asked the barman and he always gives me a couple.
Great rooms comfy beds good check ins
hotel was outstanding, rooms were nice we could check in early at 1pm breakfast could be hot cooked food too, netflix ext didn’t work on tv in bedroom
Love this hotel it’s my first choice when we are staying over Friendly staff nothing is ever a problem Just feels like home
As always, excellent 👌
I stayed in room 726. The shower made a high pitched squeaking noise when switching on The door to 726 also jammed several times after scanning card which was annoying Staff were very helpful and lovely as always . Breakfast was good.
It’s mixed, because the hotel and staff were nice, but the booking was a mess. I am a wheelchair user and requested a wheelchair accessible room, with a sofa bed. This was talked about at length with a staff member, but when we got there the only remaining accessible room did not have a sofa bed. It was very difficult to convey this fact, and it had been discussed with your staff member. We then also had to book another room. Based on this I would not recommend your hotel to a friend. And I will be posting about this on social media. I’d love to hear back. They gave us the extra room at half price, and it was a nice gesture, but still, your hotel dropped the ball on this one. Would love to hear back.
Excellent service, very clean and all facilities available. I did not find the breakfast very good last year, meat is processed and cheese, not a fan, so didn't have breakfast there this time especially at £13.50 per person.
Staff very helpful but had two issues which seriously impacted my stay. I booked the room because I had my work Christmas party in Glasgow but after an hour I felt unwell and decided to go back to the room and just watch TV. Had two things in mind to watch at 9pm on Channel 4 or ITV which I couldn’t decide between, but I needn’t have worried as the TV had neither channels. Channel 3 just didn’t exist and channel 4 was a blank screen. Apparently it’s an ongoing issue which hasn’t been fixed. Secondly, the next morning while having a shower I tried to use the shower gel but the pump dispenser wasn’t working and nothing came out, so as I was wet and had nothing else to use, I had to have a shower with the hand wash! I’ve stayed in Motel Ones across the U.K., this experience does not make me want to return. Two basic things you got wrong. Strictly limited TV choices and inability to shower.
Great location and price, service is always amazing and welcoming
Room clean and practical as always. Staff friendly, and a special shout out to the chap behind the bar late on Thursday evening (12/10) who did a sterling job.
Clean rooms, basic but had everything needed. Staff welcoming but only I was told of concession parking at local NCP out of 13 of our group that booked in that night.
Friendly staff. Lovely room - very clean with a great shower. Nice breakfast. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Lovely spacious room, comfy bed. Very clean. Great location.
Overall, a very very nice hotel. It was a lovely reception and bar area. The main issue I had with my stay was regarding my room. I went in with quite high expectations, as I had only heard good about the hotel. However, I was fairly disappointed to walk into my room and see it was fairly small compared to what I expected, with little to make up for it. The next night I was booked into a budget hotel not too far away (for more than half the price) and the room was fairly larger with better facilities within the room. As nice as the lobby and bar was and how friendly the staff was, you spend majority of your time within your room and was left a little disappointed that I had paid for a nicer experience which I felt I hadn't got.
Great location next to train station. The receptionist was very pleasant . The room was clean , bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep . My partner would have liked a more powerful shower but it was ok for me . The only negative was the lack of bar staff . On both Weds and Thurs night the bar was manned by just one person so the queues were lengthy to get served and the empty glasses were stacking up . Overall though we enjoyed our stay .
Loved staying there , great position loved the bar area very relaxing to sit there will be back x
Easy check in . Friendly staff. Great location, nice clean rooms.
Everything excellent except for bar service. Whilst asking barman for bottle of wine, he produced wine and 2 glasses, had to ask for ice bucket ! surely that should have been the obvious thing to do but very dismissive. However, didn't spoil our stay.
Lovely hotel close to all amenities, all staff very friendly and helpful, excellent stay, just 1 criticism, there was no drawer space in the room , but is the only negative I could say, but even so we managed
Clean, value for money room and friendly & helpful staff.
Staff were lovely, breakfast was nice, room was awful, very depressing, poor facilities, not enough information in the room or breakfast area, lighting is terrible in the room, and they are so small, and I had no idea that you could have dogs in the place, and bar food is very poor selection, poor value for money and no I would never stay again or recommend to friends 😢
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in when I have come to Glasgow, the beds are super comfy, the rooms are clean. The décor and atmosphere are great. The location is perfect for central Glasgow, close to the shops, bars and train station. Staff are friendly, arrived early and they had a room ready so we could check in early and even gave us a complimentary upgrade.
Staff make or break a stay and yours were great. Special mention the the lady going through the effort of decorating the boiled eggs to cheers up guests!
Nice hotel in a perfect location in Glasgow. Room small for a double room. Continental breakfast choices poor. Having stayed in other Motel One locations have had much greater choice
Great staff, friendly and rooms are good I stay every week and would be nice for people to recognise you and not have to complete the same form every week
Good location . Great nights sleep . Good breakfast . Excellent welcome and service by all Front of House staff. Good Value.
Good location, right next to central station. Very close to restaurants shops and bars. Clean spacious room with a great view.
Most beautiful hotel staff wre really helpful room so clean could not ask for anything more going back on jaunary
We have been coming to Motel One for the past five years for our annual shopping weekend away we love it lovely staff and service great location too see you next year.
Friendly staff lovely rooms perfect for our stay
Rooms were clean and modern but very small just enough room to walk past the bed. Staff on check in were lovely welcoming and helpful as was the bar staff. But on check out staff were not very friendly
Lovely stay Smooth & speedy check in, room was comfy and spotlessly clean and warm on a cold weekend. All the staff were friendly and courteous. Bar area was relaxing
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spotless, plenty of pillows, we usually have to ask for extras but not here. Breakfast lovely. Nice little touch of pear drop heart sweets at reception. Already planning to book for our Europe trip next year, Vienna being one stop.
Good but rooms on our corridor extremely noisy at 4am!
A return visit and received a nice warm welcome Not the previous room but adequate, warm and very clean. Staff most helpful and polite. Hoping to return early new year
Very comfortable stay . Staff very friendly and helpful
Very nice, clean, and great location. Didnt like paper cups in rooms and breakfast should be included. Staff were lovely would stay again and recomend to friends and family.
not bad but bar shut too early due to no staff ,fire alarm in middle of night ,had to stand out in cold and rain for aprox 3/4 of an hour
Sadly you do not offer evening dining and I got drenched having to go out to a restaurant in a storm with horizontal rain.
A great location and very friendly staff.
Overall a lovely stay, room was clean, nicely decorated and perfect for my needs. Shame they didn't have the restaurant open for evening meals.
Very clean and comfortable room. Well positioned in the centre and close to train station. Staff very polite an accommodation. Enjoy my stays. Thank you

Następny przystanek: Glasgow!
6 ważnych powodów, dla których warto odwiedzić „Glaschu”
Wiecznie zielone
Piękne i niedrogie
Atrakcje
Gin71.
Położenie i okolica
Romantyzm kolei połączony z designem
Nasz niedrogi designerski hotel położony bezpośrednio przy Glasgow Central Station w całości nawiązuje do romantyzmu kolei żelaznej. W hotelu Motel One Glasgow połączyliśmy przemysłowy charakter techniki kolejowej i torowej z niezwykłymi emocjami towarzyszącymi podróży pociągiem.
Regały i stoły z wysokiej jakości mosiężnymi elementami wprowadzają w przemysłową przeszłość Glasgow, a dopełnienie koncepcji wystroju stanowią lampy ścienne Aldo Bernardiego.
Mungo. Odjazd!
