Modern hotel, well located with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms cleaned to a high standard and good value for money. I stay in Glasgow regularly and this is my default hotel.
It’s a nice hotel and friendly staff - clean and well kept. Breakfast was disappointing tho. I’m sure it used to have more choice.
Stayed over in Glasgow for one night on a business trip and this hotel was great. The room was "compact", but well appointed and perfectly adequate for a short business stay. A better work-space in the room (i.e. desk and chair) would certainly have been beneficial though.
The hotel is lovely. Staff are great. Great value. Rooms are really nice. The only negative is the tvs do not work very well in the rooms. For example…. Tv guide does not load and channel 4 , amongst others never works. As somebody that stays weekly it’s quite frustrating
Great city centre hotel. Good value. Good service. Good location. Comfy bed. nice shower.
Great value great service great price etc
Excellent stay in Motel One in Glasgow Staff really friendly and helpful
Check-in was very efficient and friendly staff. Our room wasn't cleaned on the first day which was disappointing but the. reception staff brought us new towels but having no phone in the room I had to go to reception.
Great hotel, location is brilliant. Hotel staff were extremely helpful. The hotel bar was really nice too. Would definitely come back.
Very good value for money - lovely staff and the bar area is really nice to sit for a drink. Twelve o'clock check out all very good.
I have sent in an email but had no reply. The Television was not working and I was not told when booking or I would not have booked your hotel on this occasion. I was having a night away on my own to relax and watch tv ! Something I don’t have time to do in every day life. Surely you should pre warn your guests and not let them show up and find out ! Disaster for me so terrible stay !
Exceptional at this price point for business or leisure. I have stayed around 10 times over the last 12 months and every visit has been a pleasure. Extremely helpful if you call with a query ahead of a visit. It can be colder on the lower floors but staff try and accommodate me on the upper levels.
Best hotel in glasgow
Great hotel, only small issue was TV didn’t have many channels
Excellent location. Very friendly staff and clean room.
Everything very good staff and breakfast excellent. Pillows awful- one far too soft and one far too hard!!
Very friendly and clean.
Fantastic 3-night stay an all round great hotel beautiful and great value for money!
Central, clean, warm, pleasant staff and nice breakfast. An deal central city stay. Hot chocolate n the coffee machine would be appreciated. I prefer a wall mounted shower gel, with push button. Both minor points!
A truly brilliant city hotel on budget prices. Arriving by train for a city break it cannot be better located. We had a genuine welcome from smiling pleasant staff, who remained helpful, smiling and friendly throughout our stay. The rooms are well appointed. The breakfast buffet is amazing and generous. The bar is attractive and comfortable, whether in a group or single. All in all, I would look for Motel One in future city breaks, home or abroad.
Didn't sleep too well as kept falling in the 'gap' between the 2 beds which were together
I enjoyed my stay at Motel-one, From booking the room online to staying at the hotel, The price for me personally could have been a bit cheaper, The room was modern with a great bed, The reason I gave it an 8 out of 10 was because the shower head could have been better as the water pressure wasn't adequate enough for the shower, I also thought the carpet could have been doing with getting renewed, Apart from these things, The room was warm with a good heating system. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I would recommend it as I would go back as the hotel had a nice relaxing atmosphere.
I have been staying at MotelOne in Glasgow for a number of years after trying many others and they are consistently great.
Comfortable room, good breakfast, great location in central Glasgow. Efficient check in and check out.
Tv was not working - only had access to 3 channels as well ad this no HDMI and smart tv features were out of order. Room was very cold and heating didnt seem to work. I need to buy a hot water bottle for the night.
This hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay. Ideally situated right beside Central Station, it made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The front-of-house staff were exceptionally welcoming, and even though we arrived earlier than expected, our room was ready. It was a huge relief to freshen up and drop off our belongings before heading out. The room itself was excellent for the price we paid—comfortable and well-appointed. While the décor showed a little age, the room would benefit from new flooring it didn’t detract from the overall value or experience. The lobby was stunning, with a stylish, boutique feel that reminded us of a chic hotel we stayed at in Barcelona. Overall, this hotel offers incredible value for money, warm hospitality, and a fantastic location.
From the minute we walked in we felt very welcome. The staff were very friendly & accommodating. We were travelling with a toddler & they made him up his own little sofa bed. He is quite a hyper & loud child, and no-one seemed to care about that(no judgement!). The hotel lobby was very clean & tidy. Rooms were gleaming, not a speck of dust anywhere. We were only planning to stay one night and ended up staying for 2, loved it. I even signed up to be a Motel One member!! Will definitely be back!
Fantastic location for exploring Glasgow. Within walking distance of mainline railway station, car parking and airport bus services. The motel is modern, very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and helpful. Would definitely stay again when I'm in the city.
Handy for transport
Thanks to your whole team. Stay was great and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Planning a return trip and stay already. We'll done
First time staying at your hotel. Was a present from son & daughter in law. Great place to stay. Clean & noise free room.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, perfect location.
Great comfortable hotel, friendly staff, great bar and brilliant location. Excellent value for money
Hotel was fantastic, very conveniently placed in the city, and the room was wonderful! Only complaints would be not having an ice machine or water fountain anywhere on the floor, but that’s a minor issue.
We arrived prior to our booking. The gentle took our bags and we were given tickets. He then advised that we couldn’t check in but he would assist with this. When we arrived back at midnight we were told that we had not been booked in. This caused us to have a restless night as we were placed in a room near to a nightclub. The lady who we spoke to was really good and apologized but I was really disappointed.
Very good overall, comfy, clean and great value for money. Only small things....the rooms were quite tight with such a big (comfy as) bed....so there's no need for 2 tables and a big chair on top as it became a bit cramped. The small table with kettle would have been ideal and maybe something to put suitcases on. Shower room, with design of shower base, very difficult not to soak the bathroom floor. Breakfast was great....missing some bacon.
It was a great stat, Thank you so much for letting us check in early
Great hotel! The location was convenient to everything. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend!
Lovely hotel xx
Dobre położenie blisko do centrum , super bar dlugo czynny ,przestronne logby za taką cenę naprawdę godny polecenia.
Lovely stay cheap clean functional and decor downstairs is amazing
absolutely fantastic hotel definitely staying ere everytime we come glasgow
Hotel was great, bar was very pricy however. WiFi didn’t work in our room, and our tv was set in Spanish once we changed that only about 2 English channels worked. However beds were comfy, clean and staff were friendly
Lovely staff, beautiful hotel, very comfy beds amd super reasonable prices 😀
Great hotel in a central location, lovely clean room with plenty of space but breakfast was disappointing as a full English breakfast was not on offer.
Staff great,cosy,comfy lounge
Great location. Hotel is modern and the rooms are very comfortable Excellent value for money
Lovely hotel and staff had a nice stay, was kindly upgraded to a superior suite on the 12th floor which was nice, however it was very very warm and the air con did not seem to work, it wasn’t until late in the night we realised and there was no phone to call reception and we didn’t want to have to travel down and complain as it was only one night stay so would have been pointless moving. However other than that had a great time, lovely view and hotel :)

Następny przystanek: Glasgow!
6 ważnych powodów, dla których warto odwiedzić „Glaschu”
Wiecznie zielone
Piękne i niedrogie
Atrakcje
Gin71.
Położenie i okolica
Romantyzm kolei połączony z designem
Nasz niedrogi designerski hotel położony bezpośrednio przy Glasgow Central Station w całości nawiązuje do romantyzmu kolei żelaznej. W hotelu Motel One Glasgow połączyliśmy przemysłowy charakter techniki kolejowej i torowej z niezwykłymi emocjami towarzyszącymi podróży pociągiem.
Regały i stoły z wysokiej jakości mosiężnymi elementami wprowadzają w przemysłową przeszłość Glasgow, a dopełnienie koncepcji wystroju stanowią lampy ścienne Aldo Bernardiego.
Mungo. Odjazd!
