Nice room, comfy bed. Did the job.
Hotel well located, near the central rail station the St Enoch underground and two Wetherspoon pubs. Clean, convenient and not over priced, what’s not to like?
Comfortable rooms, great location, nice decor, great staff. Only points to improve would be (1) check-in (v long queues late afternoon, could do something automated beyond the One Club - I book via a third party), and (2) the paper cups in rooms.
Staff helpful and efficient / Location very good / rooms well kept and clean / bed comfortable . Only one minor grump couldn't find Scottish channels on the television as I was out most of the time it didn't matter.I did not have breakfast even though it was paid for as I don't like getting up early .and wanted a cooked breakfast anyway .but I did enjoy my lie in .12 o'clock check out is a blessing for late risers like myself .The bar is very good but understaffed so there's a long wait to get served .
Stayed for two days Friday and Saturday room was not made up which was really unusual for this chain always stay in the ones in Manchester never had any issues doesn’t put me off.
Lovely stress-free stay at a clean and friendly hotel in a central location.
Excellent service. Staff friendly. Rooms clean and compact.
First stayed with Motel One in Manchester thought all those years ago this will do,since then it’s been Newcastle and Glasgow and always a pleasure.
Fantastic hotel and real good value. Our room overlooked the city and was just brilliant. We were lucky to have a room on the 12th floor. Good price for a quality room.
My only 8ssue us the noise from the fan in the room which is constant so the room is never completely quiet. One night one it was so bad i only slept 3 hrs. Your excellent reception staff did move me for second night where fan noise wasnt quite as bad but still there . Th8s would definately have me consider if i would come back which is a shame as otherwise hotel is fab
I have never been dissatisfied with this hotel.Ideal location, welcoming pleasant staff Comfortable room.
Can't fault this place really. The view from the 11th floor was stunning, the room was small but clean and beautifully decorated and the staff that I dealt with were friendly and went out of their way to help. The only downsides were they didn't have any lager on draught and the fan in the bathroom didn't turn off completely - although I thought the noise would annoy me and it didn't. oh the other annoying thing was that the TV kept going on when i walked past it - ha ha
Lovely Hotel, friendly staff at reception, nice atmosphere in bar area.
Good location, basic but comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, motel one offers good value for money.
A third very comfortable stay at Motel One. However having suffered a shattered pelvis since my last visit I realised I would feel far more secure if there was a grab rail in the shower area. (the towel rail doesn't count!)
Check in was fast and conducted by a very pleasant and welcoming young man.Our room on the second floor was comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast the following morning was very good with a wide selection to choose from.
Nice hotel in great location for city centre , staff were great and answered any questions that we had during stay . Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of foods available .
Staff couldn’t be more helpful!
Everything clean tidy and ready for me. Reception polite and efficient.
Very clean,friendly staff,good value
We had a very good weekend break with you.
One of the best nights sleep I’ve had . Room was very quiet and there was everything you needed in the room . I will definitely use them again
Fantastic, friendly service, good price, clean, great location. Overall a super experience.
I stayed in a wheelchair accessible room 239. If I had been staying without my partner the room would have been difficult. We had to move a heavy chair in order to create a big enough space for a turning circle for my wheelchair. I couldn’t reach the hairdryer myself as it had been placed on a high shelf I couldn’t reach. I couldn’t use the kettle myself as there was no plug nearby. The kettle could only reach a plug point by putting it on the floor which I couldn’t do. The accessible rooms ending in 32 are much better but I wasn’t offered one of these on my last 2 stays.
Very good customer care and a very nice hotel
Very Impressed with this hotel, have no complaints.
Great location with efficient staff providing excellent service. Rooms are clean and airy and beds are comfortable.
I booked a night here on a last-minute whim. Booking wasn't as simple as walking in and paying for the room, rather I was advised by a friendly and knowledgeable receptionist to register with MO's website & book there - even though I was standing in reception! But once that was done (reasonably straightforward) they accepted cash which is good. I was asked if I had a preference of floor and requested the highest possible. Got put on 8th which is probably high enough to escape the worst of the noise a main street in Glasgow can offer on a Saturday night. So street noise wasn't the problem, but hotel noise was unfortunately. I got a 'notification' every time a neighbouring room (adjacent or above) used their bathroom. There was also a continuous 'hum' all the while the card was inserted in the power slot so the general noise is the main reason I've given the room a sub-optimal score. The bed was comfy enough but it's two singles stuck together so the 'valley' between them wasn't ideal. This coupled in with the noise and the rather odd selection of pillows meant I did not get a particularly good night's sleep. Finally the shower was disappointing. Spotlessly clean cubicle and abundantly hot water, but barely adequate pressure. I felt I had to walk around to get wet! So overall, not a bad stay as such but the noise issues did spoil the experience somewhat.
Very clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful
Wonderful staff, rooms were great, the lifts all worked, the bar was excellent, and great location.
GREAT SERVICE AND STANDARD OF ACCOMMODATION. DURING MY STAY I FELL, BROKE A WRIST, AND HAD TO VISIT A&E - THE STAFF WERE EXCEPTIONALLY ASSISTING IN ORGANISING A TAXI (AT MIDNIGHT) AND SUBSEQUENT RETURN ARRANGEMENTS. MANY THANKS AND GREAT TO SEE SUCH ATTENTION BEYOND THE NECESSARY.
Lovely hotel
Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good lots of variety of food. Nice and central. We would stop again.
Staff superb clean hotel. Breakfast was ok but required filling up more
Excellent room, friendly staff, very clean
Everything good except the pricing in the bar. £13.50 for 1 white wine because you only had chablis available ? Every single person / table in there had 1 drink and left due to pricing. It was a common complaint and discussed amongst us guest's . Couple of pounds less you would actually have made.more money in the long run. The price required to be paod for a continental breakfast is also high, would normally get a cooked breakfast for that. We would still return though and go elsewhere for breakfast and drinks.
Excellent stay with a fabulous location.
Hi, Excellent customer service has been shown, especially from Euen who worked in the front desk. Please thank him for me as he made me feel welcome and checked me in earlier and have me a bigger room with a desk to study for a week and prepare for my exam. Well done Euen again and your the reason I'm coming back to such a nice hotel.
Love the room clean everythn was spot on.
Handy location, friendly service. Reasonable price.
Lovely hotel and very comfortable beds, my only negative was the cups at the coffee station in the rooms, they only held liquid for about 30 seconds and then the paper cup would leak.
Very polite reception staff, very clean room and good breakfast
I really enjoyed my stay at Motel One. The hotel is in a fantastic location—within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants, which was super convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. The only small downside was that there wasn't a bin in the main room, only in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was great! I’d definitely stay here again!
Superb stay and everything was really nice. Clean rooms with nice beds and warm. Friendly staff and after having a night out at a gig coming back to enjoy a nightcap in the bar was just what was needed! Will definitely be back!
Great place to stay, small but compact rooms, have what you need for a night or two stay. Not much room to move about as cramped. Lovely bar area, reception staff spot on. Shame about the bar staff. Location is great.
Staff are amazing. Robert McDougall on reception was so helpful and friendly. The cleaner who cleaned room 138 is an absolute credit to you. Both these members of staff are amazing at their jobs and should be recognised for this. Bar service however was shockingly slow for no reason. In the morning around 12 noon there was nobody at the bar to serve us even coffee or a water and at least 2 of us waited for at least 10 minutes before I had to go to reception to ask for help and the night before it was busy but a young chap in a suit was stood behind the bar just chatting instead of helping to serve customers to avoid them waiting but apart from that it was a great stay so thank you!
Everything was great but I’m now a member of your loyalty club and couldn’t get a late check out. The girl stated it was only complimentary on a Sunday morning and tried to charge £10 an hour when my daughter got it for free next day which wasn’t a Sunday.
Great hotel in a fantastic location. Love the bar.
Clean and spacious room, with comfortable bed. Bar reasonable for a hotel too.
Dobre położenie blisko do centrum , super bar dlugo czynny ,przestronne logby za taką cenę naprawdę godny polecenia.

Następny przystanek: Glasgow!
6 ważnych powodów, dla których warto odwiedzić „Glaschu”
Wiecznie zielone
Piękne i niedrogie
Atrakcje
Gin71.
Położenie i okolica
Romantyzm kolei połączony z designem
Nasz niedrogi designerski hotel położony bezpośrednio przy Glasgow Central Station w całości nawiązuje do romantyzmu kolei żelaznej. W hotelu Motel One Glasgow połączyliśmy przemysłowy charakter techniki kolejowej i torowej z niezwykłymi emocjami towarzyszącymi podróży pociągiem.
Regały i stoły z wysokiej jakości mosiężnymi elementami wprowadzają w przemysłową przeszłość Glasgow, a dopełnienie koncepcji wystroju stanowią lampy ścienne Aldo Bernardiego.
Mungo. Odjazd!
