Nice Hotel with perfect location
I love the location and the room. The breakfast is also ok but it can be improved. I had an accident in the room. I was given a PWD room which I love because its big. Only the the dor handle of the bathroom is weird because its not located near the edge of the door but its near the center of the door. So when I pulled the door with a force because its big and heavy, the edge of the door hit my face, causing almost an inch wound on my eyebrows. I went to the manager and complained the weird location of the door handle. If the handle is located close to the edge, the accident will not happen. The manager was not sympathetic. He lacks the customer service oriented gestures. He offered free breakfast, but I said that my room has breakfast already. So he gave me one drink coupon. I told him that I am not after anything, but to provide me the medicine or wound ointment. He said that they don't have and they will not ask a staff to go out and get a wound ointment for me. I was very disappointed with how the manager handled my situation. He did not even ask how am I doing, or If I need assistance to get to a hospital.

Excellent location
Great location, Fantastic view, Friendly staff, Stylish and tidy room. The bar on the 10th floor is great. Only niggle is the bathroom fogs up badly, despite having an extraction vent.
This was my first experience with Motel One and I was rather delighted. Well furnished with some special touch , clean, well isolated from the noise, friendly staff, breakfast was OK. I was in Berlin and I must say the view during the breakfast time was amazing. I took motel One to my favorites

Good hotel for a fair price. You know what you get if you choose Motel One. Room for improvement in the check-in process, it feels as this is done faster in other hotels.
Motel One Berlin Upper West is just perfect for Value for Money. It has the perfect location in this jungle of Berlin.
I've had problems with my room key and the temperature in my room was really cold. I was a guest for three days but didn't achieve it to be comfortably warm, plus the bedding was for summer? But the views were great, room was clean and the staff was very friendly!
Nice location and rooms. The pillows were way to hard for my liking and the duvet was also very compact. Great Breakfast. The receptionist made a big number of that he would out me in a corner Room so that I would have More space Since staying multiple Days. When I finally got to my Room it was of course not a corner Room:). Did not care so stayed there but don’t overpromise and don’t deliver, better to be happily surprised. Otherwise great stay.
Very good experience for a stay of 3-4 days, excellent location, very pleasant and competent staff, good idea to place the lively bar and terrace on the 10th floor in the middle of the 18-floor hotel...... the only reason I can't award 10 points is that the rooms are very cramped, too small for comfort, and that there is no room, no drawers, for one's clothes which have to stay in your suitcase.

1. The music in the bar was ridiculously loud - louder than I have experienced in any hotel bar anywhere in the World. The waiter direcrted me to the very far end where he said it was quieter (it was only marginally). 2. I am the Geschäftsführer of JazzRadio Berlin, Germany's only jazz station, licenced to broadcast on 104.6 FM in Berlin-Brandenburg and throughout Germany online at www.jzzradio.net, with more than half a million listeners per month (M.A. & Radio.co). I was very disappointed to see that you do not include JazzRadio in your radio offers to guests.
Everyone one was friendly and efficient. Perfect location.

Due to the demonstration on 7.Oct, access to the hotel was not granted by the police for at least 3hrs. I would have expected the hotel to be aware of this and have communicated to their guests up front to manage expectations and logistics. That needs to be done better in future
I couldn't sleep well as there are often noise from the ceiling of the room (on 9th floor)..it starts already at 5am. Onr of the reception staff was not friendly nor helpful.

Wonderful hotel, would stay here again.
It would be nice if there was some water in the room. The breakfast space was not clean. The room was very small and comparing to the price EUR +300 I would expect something more comfortable. The lounge was nice but the staff did not speak english. The quality of coffee/drinks was ok but not for the given price.
I have never had a better night's sleep than on that mattress. The layout and the use of low tables for the breakfast lounge is however not optimal. Breakfast capacity and availability of tables is often not sufficient for the amout of guests, Overall I can say it was a very good stay.

Bardzo mały, niezbyt komfortowy pokój. Śniadanie w miejscu nieprzystosowanym do posiłków, słaby wybór potraw na śniadaniu - brak ciepłych potraw (jajecznica, kiełbaski, itp)

Zdecydowaliśmy się na pobyt w Motel One z powodu bliskości interesujących nas miejsc, w pobliżu i na możliwość rezerwacji pokoju z widokiem na wyższym piętrze. Napisaliśmy prośbę do recepcji w tej sprawie, otrzymaliśmy e - mail potwierdzający taką możliwość. Odpisaliśmy, że akceptujemy warunki i porosimy dane do zapłaty, ale na naszą wiadomość już nikt nie odpowiedział. Ponieważ byliśmy w trasie, zdecydowaliśmy się na rezerwację przez stronę www, na taki właśnie pokój. Po przybyciu dostaliśmy pokój bez widoku tzn. był ale na budynek vis a vis na pierwszym piętrze nad barem. Pan w recepcji początkowo chciał dać nam pokój na znacznie wyższym piętrze, ale po chwili stwierdził, że ma dla nas jednak inny, ostatni...? Na powitanie mieliśmy otrzymać wodę do pokoju, przynajmniej to gwarantowała nam rezerwacja, wody w pokoju nie było. Ogólnie obsługa dość szorstka, acz uśmiechnięta. Kolejna uwaga dotyczy baru na 10 piętrze, w szczycie Piątek 23:00 trudno zamówić cokolwiek, a obsługa jest średnio zadowolona..., może niech zmienią pracę ;) Śniadanie, było OK, ale w tej cenie lepiej zjeść na mieście.
