Mini rooms, very expensive for a youth hostel
Clean and well maintained facilities, reasonable price. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Online booking via app went wrong. The app reset the date I had selected. So I immediattelly called the hotel to change the booking. This was not possible. I had to contact the contactcenter in the morning. In the morning they said I had missed the time to cancel the booking, their policy. I had to explain that I booked at 22.00 and could never meet their 18.00 change booking time(travel). Than they agreed on moving my booking to the date it should be. Well...I had to pay an additional 70 euro increasing the price from 100 to 170 euro (no breakfast included) for a tiny room of 8square meters or so. Criminal behaviour. Making the app impossible to check properly and than make the mistakes impossible to correct or massively expensive.

Great hotel. Very clean and tidy and the staff were super friendly. Easy to get into the centre of Amsterdam too.. little bar snacks if you’re not too hungry and lovely selection of drinks.
The lobby and lounge were lovely. I was not pleased with the room layout, nor the fact that water and coffee were taken away post breakfast. Other Amsterdam hotels in the area have this provided complimentary throughout the day. Further, the breakfast was very overpriced at 17 euros, given the limited selections and cramped area. Finally - it was a very frustrating process to add breakfast to the invoice.

From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were always helpful, friendly, and truly cared about my experience. The bar service was outstanding—not just great drinks, but a warm, inviting atmosphere that made me feel at home. A fantastic stay!
in general all fine, but I was charged twice and needed to come back to the hotel to get my money back. Time consuming and inconvenient. The receptionist apologized (fine), but not even offered a coffee or anything small to compensate for this mistake.

From the warm and friendly welcome to the impeccably clean rooms with comfortable beds, everything was just perfect. The well-prepared and delicious breakfast was a great start to our days, but above all, it was the kindness and helpfulness of the entire staff that made us feel truly welcome. Thanks to you, my granddaughter and I had an unforgettable weekend in Amsterdam. For anyone planning to visit the city, I can highly recommend your hotel. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, yet with a convenient tram connection that takes you to the Dam in just 15 minutes – it was simply ideal. Another great advantage was the secure parking garage, which gave me peace of mind knowing my car was safe and eliminated any stress about finding a parking spot. Additionally, the hotel’s location outside the busy city center meant there was no noise disturbance, allowing for a perfect night’s sleep. I am so happy with my choice—even for a city visit. MO Amsterdam is a fine place to stay for a City Trip. It is located outside the center, but this is to reach in 10 minutes with the Metro. The personal is friendly and very helpful. Other items (room, breakfast, etc.) is the well known good MO Standard. Only the fact, that the windows cannot be opened and the ventilation makes some sound all the time is disturbing.
Normally I'm quite positive about your hotels and Motel One Amsterdam. But this time not. The first night I barely slept because there was a pit in the mattress (room 435). Then we swapped rooms and the pit was less severe but still not comfortable (room 441). I understood my colleagues had the same problem (room 433 and 431) So the experience this time was not good at all.
Clean, friendly, convent location and quiet. Met all of our needs. Only suggestion, coffee and tea available to guest outside of breakfast for free.

It’s a clean hotel with very friendly staff. The room was on the small side but clean. The lobby and breakfast area is very nice. The only negative thing is the location, three metro stops from downtown Amsterdam. Next time we would stay closer to the centre…
We had the best stay at Motel One Amsterdam! Communication was quick and they preemptively reached out to us multiple times before our stay, and the location was 10/10!! Plenty of green grass just outside our room for our dog, check-in was simple, and the hotel was quiet. I can't say enough great things about Motel One! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I cannot understand how you don't have SmartTVs on the rooms. Or at least ScreenCast enabled.
Disappointed there was no dinner/restaurant
The cleanliness of the hotel and the attention of the staff are the most striking features. I believe that there is a sufficient and quality breakfast presentation. I believe that a minibar and an electric kettle should be included in the concept.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. However, the service at breakfast detracted from the experience. A small, simple gesture, such as accommodating a guest's request for two hard-boiled eggs instead of soft-boiled, would have made the difference (since it was the only food I could eat at moment).

Very friendly staff at reception, excellent breakfast, perfect location for RAI, nice bar area. Iron and hairdryer in the room was great, but would have loved a kettle or at least hot water being available on the floor. Many people are dependent on their early morning tea. Price a bit high. You should market the breakfast better, it is a lot more than ”continental”!
Godt hotel
With the a/c switched off, the ventilation in the ceiling was too loud and I had to insert ear plugs to sleep. I changed rooms, but that didn't help as the ventilator in the bathroom was too loud and I had to wear ear plugs again. I managed to adjust the ventilator for my final night. Otherwise everything was fine, as usual - a comfortable warm lobby. And I would like to thank the receptionist who didn't charge me for two nights in the parking.

Nice cozy and clean place,well decorated for christmas with convenient amenities near by. The staff were polite and accommodating as well. Would surely go back when I visit next.
The location and the room was great. Staff were lovely. Location was very convenient and quiet. There was a supermarket (Dirk van den Broek) and a metro/tram station nearby. I know the breakfast was continental and optional but was not worth the price. Either lower the price or add cooked breakfast like omeletes, sausages etc. Having no slippers was a minus for us. Wifi speed and coverage could be improved. Overall our 4 nights stay was very good and we will recommend Motel One to our friends.

Hotel location is excellent for the RAI conference centre. Room albeit on the smallish side was very stylish, bed very comfortable and fantastic shower. Had 2 good nights sleep. Continental Breakfast but plenty of options. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, especially at this Christmas time. The rooms are small, but neat and clean. The staff at the reception as well as in the coffee bar are super friendly and do their job perfectly. Pets are allowed and that is a big plus. The only complaint I have is that the windows in the room cannot be opened. Also a big complaint is that the price does not include breakfast and a parking space. It has to be paid for separately, and the prices are not realistic. I believe that breakfast and a parking space should already be included in the price, because the price of the motel is inflated, and they do not offer other facilities, e.g. gym, something for fun, etc.
The first day was the room a little bit to cold, even though the a/c worked with 30° at arrival. We would appreciate it if there were other options for breakfast besides boiled eggs.

Much about the access and cleanliness was truly very, very good. I will use your place again. Outstanding for me was the friendliness and efficiency of the breakfast staff. They went out of their way to smile and engage, do what was needed and proceed with their work. FAB! As you see below, in the numbered lists, most of the stay was more than satisfactory. BUT the receptionist on the Friday, the person for my arrival was disgraceful in attitude, though not action. This Irish [she told me] lady had the audacity to say this: "Only stupid people smile for no reason." That is an insult to customer service, an insult to your brand, an insult to me who tried to lighten the atmosphere of arrival, an affront to those others around the hotel who strove to be friendly and to give an air of welcome, hospitality and approachability. Most of all it was an appalling insult to those folk who are not blessed with our kind of "awareness" such as Downs people who smile as part of their cherished lives. I got all the basics I needed from her, but it was a sullen, cheerless experience leaving my arrival with a bitter taste. Is that what you train your staff for? Does she embody the Motel One ethos?
