Employees are very friendly, location is very good. Only thing which i didn't like is dirty carpet there is lot of hair on it. Maybe it is not easy to keep it clean but owner of motel can choose wood or some other materials.
This was our first visit to Motel One Newcastle, and we were blown away. The venue is beautiful from the moment you step through the doors. The customer service is second to none - incredibly friendly staff who gave the impression that they were genuinely interested in chatting to us. We were even given free cupcakes as part of a Valentine’s Day promotion! The room we booked was the smallest one available, and it was still lovely, and had everything we needed. The only things I’d warn others about are trivial, like the outdated television set or no bin in the bedroom (there is one in the bathroom). The hotel closed at 11pm, but we were able to enter using our room keys. This level of security is unlike anything I have experienced before. I was extremely pleasantly surprised by Motel One and I have every intention of returning - I hope to make this my new hotel for my regular trips to Newcastle. Thank you!

The hotel is in a great location, staff are friendly & helpful on arrival. The lobby & bar looks amazing. The rooms were you know your in a budget hotel, although clean & well presented. For what you pay a nice hotel
Great stay at Motel one. Excellent value for money and a good location close to the theatre and restaurants. Check in staff was friendly and professional. Smooth process and very informative. Room was quiet and comfortable and exactly what we needed. Really liked the large shower and how clean and fresh everything was. Will definitely stay again for our next theatre break :)

This is a very well priced hotel, staff are extremely friendly and professional. This is not the first time I have stayed there and have received the same service each time.
I'm a regular visitor and normally very happy with the accommodation however on this occasion room 653 was not great the USB portals did not work and the sink in the bathroom was really slow draining.
Overall, a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the location is very central. Breakfast was underwhelming but satisfactory. I think it is a little overpriced, however it is in central Newcastle. I would consider coming back due to convenient location. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Great city centre hotel. Super nice staff, shout out to Thomas and Francesco, but everyone was so nice. Basic compact rooms, but clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Definitely value for money.

Very nice place to stay in. Very good mood environment! Bedrooms are quite small but perfect for just myself. Very clean and breakfast is delicious!!! Drinks are quite expensive but Will definitely stay again.
Staff were super friendlg and helpful. Checkin was smooth and efficient, room perfectly clean and fresh. Breakfast was well managed and there is a great area to sit or drink at other times.
Hotel lobby is lovely and welcoming. However rooms are tired and very small .
Staff were friendly and helpfull at the check in, room was very modern nice and clean, bottles of water would have been nice but coffee and tea were fine. Bar was very smart with casual seating areas, drinks prices were about what you would expect, Loved our stay here had a great day and Night. Nothing to do with the hotel but I don’t recommend driving into Newcastle itself as the roads and signs are very confusing I wish I’d parked on the outskirts and gotten an uber to the hotel

Such a shame the TV Hotel Channel was not showing the log fire/aquarium on my 2 recent visits.
Comfortable stay
always like to stay here when in newcastle the rates are very good, breakfast is a bit boring but there is a great place just around the corner, easy walking distance to bars and eateries and also only a 10 minute walk to the ground on match days, very clean and the decor is lovely, staff are very helpful can normally get an early check in if needed, they will book you a cab if needed and the big bonus being a 24 hour bar service, would definitely recommend motel one
5e keer dat ik hier heb overnacht. Hotel ligt midden in het centrum en is zeer netjes met goede bedden. Personeel is vriendelijk. Ontbijt is het enige waar ik negatief over kan zijn, dit omdat de keuze zeer beperkt is.

Lovely inviting reception area. Rooms are well presented and comfy. Toiletries provided and smell lovely. Bed was very comfortable along with the bedding.
A lovely place close to all the main areas of Newcastle. For how many staying it was a quiet weekend The bar area is lovely . The staff are friendly and approachable

Ruime kamers met alles wat je nodig hebt. Weinig lawaai door de weeks en super vriendelijke bediening. Matrassen zijn helaas oud en doorgezakt.

Goede kamer met raam dat geopend kan worden, prima ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel en erg goede service.
Nette kamer, in ochtend gewekt door brandalarm, wat later vals bleek , maar wel zeker 20 minuten aanhield. Geen uitleg bij de receptie of excuses, jammer.
Comfortabel hotel met goede centrale ligging. Vriendelijk personeel. Goed ontbijt. We hadden een kamer op de 6e etage. Deze kamer was schoon en netjes. Echter onplezierig warm. Temperatuur was niet te reguleren met de airco.
Hier al enkele keren geboekt. Prima kamers, maar wat aan de krappe kant, vooral als je de overdaad aan aan kussens ergens kwijt wilt. Prima bed, echter zo strak opgemaakt dat als je eenmaal onder het dekbed ligt en het wat meer naar je toe wilt trekken er geen beweging in te krijgen is. Je moet dan echt weer uit bed om het dekbed vooral aan het voeteneinde met geweld los te krijgen.Prima badkamer en TV. Ook ontbijt prima en ruim voldoende.
Mooi stijlvol hotel midden in de stad aan een rustig straatje en tussen de gezellige bars, pubs en reataurants. Bijna alle bezienswaardigheden van Newcastle op loopafstand. Prettige ontvangst en gastvrij personeel. Geen gebruik gemaakt van de bar en weinig vegan opties voor het ontbijt, vandaar de wat lagere rating maar het is voor het overige prima verzorgd. Leuk detail is dat er gebruik gemaakt wordt van locale producten. Een prima hotel tegen een heel gunstige prijs!

Schone stiller kamers, goede wifi, goed ontbijt
Vriendelijke ontvangst bij de receptie. Mooie, ruime, schone kamer. Kingsize bed was heerlijk! Badkamer modern en strak en schoon. Luxe lounge, fijne fauteuils om in plaats te nemen. Het hotel is gesitueerd midden in het centrum van de stad. Toch geen herrie van buiten gehoord.
Prima hotel op goede lokatie. Alle Motel One hotels hebben zelfde sfeer en uitstraling: modern, comfortabel en vriendelijk. Deze ligt in het centrum van Newcastle.
Hele fijne ervaring, alleen moest ik plots €90,- extra afrekenen bij de receptie?
Blijft goed hotel op centrale locatie. Erg jammer dat je kamer niet wordt schoongemaakt. Bed wordt dichtgelegd, prullenbak geleegd en als het meezit worden handdoeken vervangen. Misschien komt dit door zeerkort verblijf van veel hotelgasten. Wij verbleven5 nachten in het hotel, dan verwacht je wel dat in ieder geval de badkamer wordt schoongemaakt. Bij aankomst was de kamer overigens wel keurig netjes.
Mooie hotelkamer met alles wat er hoort te zijn. Schone kamer met een goed bed. Vriendelijke mensen achter de balie. En midden in het (uitgaans) centrum van Newcastle.

Ons Motel One Newcastle in het hartje van de stad heeft met zijn onafgewerkte bakstenen muren iets charmants. De industriële stijl van de authentieke bakstenengevel herinnert aan de geschiedenis van de arbeidersstad. Aan de binnenkant zijn de bruggen over de Tyne in het design verwerkt en de stijlvolle bar in de industriële look brengt ere aan Robert Stephenson, de uitvinder van The Rocket zoals de stoomlocomotief ook wel eens wordt genoemd. Meubels in echt leder van Baxter en hoogwaardige tapijten van Jan Kath maken de industriële look helemaal af. Verfijnde details zoals stoelen van Arketipo met een opvallend stalen frame of de spiegelkast met whiskeykaraffen geven het interieur een charmante touch.
Dat de gestreepte behang aan de receptie niet alleen heel erg Brits ogen maar ook het beeld van de truitjes van Newcastle United oproepen, is natuurlijk geen toeval. Ook de ligging in het historische centrum past geheel in de industrieel-moderne stijl van ons voordelige Design Hotel. Bezienswaardigheden zoals het Theatre Royal, het Grey’s Monument en het stadhuis van Newcastle liggen op een steenworp van het hotel. Ook heel handig is het feit dat het Centraal Station en de luchthaven goed bereikbaar zijn.
Boek nu een kamer in ons voordelige Design Hotel en ervaar het designcontrast tussen de 'oude' industrie en het 'nieuwe' moderne karakter van de stad.
