Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommended! I had an amazing stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive especially Vincenzo big thanks to him. The room was clean, The bed was super cozy, and I had a great night's sleep. The hotel’s location was perfect ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My only complaint is that all bar/lounge/breakfast transactions must be settled via a separate credit card transaction. I would prefer to add these to my room bill. Also, I feel the cost of the breakfast should warrant a bigger offering.
For the usual price ranges the room and service are great. The hotel and the rooms are clean and modern which is great. However I have paid a high rate due to a high season during a fair and for that price I would have expected at least a bottle of drinking water in my room. I was also missing a USB wall charger (there are only normal power plugs), which is great when travelling for business and today useful for a all mobile devices.

I think that Motel One Mannheim is the best Motel One experience i had so far!
Everything was okay. But there was no hand weigher at the reception to check luggage weight before flight.
perfect location in Paradeplatz, the hotel was really clean and the bed was incredibly comfy. however the room was set up for 1 person instead of 2 so we had to share a single duvet and use the same towel our first night. also when we came back to our room the next evening after being cleaned, all of our things had been gone through and one of my rings was missing - it seems the cleaners had rifled through our belongings and stolen my jewellery, worrying enough for us to check if our passports were still where we left them. the man at reception needed seem fussed when i reported this, and i think it’s unlikely I’ll see my ring again. otherwise a good stay.

I like Motel One Mannheim for its excellent customer service. From the front desk to the lounge&bar, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is always clean, the breakfast food is excellent and healthy. Motel One is always my first choice.
Average to good MotelOne experience. Was surprised and disappointed about the breakfast, though: no scrambled eggs or bacon.

Prima bed en room service, goede locatie ook. Had liever bij de room service well twee handdoeken en hoofddoeken gekregen, maar voor de rest was het helemaal goed. ik ben tevrede. ook een pluspunt je hoeft geen ouder erbij te hebben om in te-checken, gewoon een ouders conformatie brief ofzo iets.
Everything is perfect, great walls, you cant hear your neighbours. Great location! The only thing which is concerning that cleaning came to the room even though there was a sign “Don’t disturb!”
First I got a room over a construction site on the first floor. After a room change, I got a room over the ventilation from the restaurant, that constantly smelled like old frying oil. There was a lot of hairs in the bathroom too. The last night there was loud techno music all night.

Centrally situated, a very fancy lobby is receiving the guests, the rooms are not so big but for short business trips are perfect, the quality of the furniture is high, big TV, hair dryer, very good wi-fi connection...all amenities are available. You can ask for a taxi and is arriving in front of the lobby. Thank you !

The room (Mannheim, Germany) is perfectly adequate and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. Really enjoyed the variety etc.

Everything was great but I would have preferred the shower door to be closable, it was so hard to keep the bathroom floor dry Also more variety of breakfast would be great, for example scrambled eggs or bacon and sunny side up
The hotel itself was quite nice. The marketing department's emails are relentless and never stop, despite how many times I hit unsubscribe. It honestly makes me never want to stay at a Motel One again.

First time staying with Motel One but won't be the last - at last a hotel with some design and style that doesn't break the bank and can avoids bland business hotels when away from home.

Super verblijf voor een nacht.
It was a pleasant stay. We struggled to keep the temperature down in the room. The air-conditioning only seemed to be working only the last day and sleeping was difficult as we were too hot. I could not get a bowl of water in the bathroom to have a wet shave.
Kamer was klein maar schoon. Ontbijt zag er fantastisch uit maar de keuze was vrij standaard.

per telefoon niet mogelijk te reserveren..... daarna duurde het een uur voordat ik me kon registreren via internet ( verplicht), daarna een uur bezig geweest om de gegevens in te voeren en uiteindelijk bij de betaling niet mogelijk... daarna toch mogelijk per telefoon en eenmaal aangekomen in het hotel een receptie die werkelijk niets begreep en te sloom was om adequaat mensen te helpen... het was beneden alle peil.... hotel zelf en ontbijt okay. Per email internet was de prijs 319 € , uiteindelijk moest ik 393 € afrekenen...
Klimaanlage war defekt
Als je Motel One kent, wil je nooit meer een ander hotel. Fantastisch!
Altijd weer comfortabel
Wij zijn altijd erg enthousiast over Motel One (o.a. Ulm en Amsterdam). Dit keer echter hadden we een eenpersoonskamers in plaats van een dubbele. Daar kwamen we 's avonds achter zodat de vrouw van de receptie nog een extra dekbed moest komen brengen. Toen ontdekten we dat er ook voor 1 persoon handdoeken waren. Dat hebben we maar zo gelaten. Enkele dagen na ons vertrek ontving ik de vooraf betaalde nota om het inchecken(!) te versnellen. Ik had eerder een QR-code ontvangen, maar daar werd niets mee gedaan. Kortom voor het eerst een duidelijk mindere ervaring. Hopelijk volgende keer weer zoals we gewend zijn.
Het nieuwe hotel in Mannheim ligt aan de schitterende Paradeplatz in het centrum. De kamers zijn zoals je van Motel One mag verwachten, prima. Een kluisje ontbreekt, dat zou een verbetering zijn. Met name de bar / onbijtruimte is schitterend. Lekker ruim opgezet en met een mooi uitzicht. Al met al een prima hotel, op een mooie locatie. Slechts 3 tram-haltes van het station (of 4 als je een andere lijn kiest).

MANNHEIM UIT EERSTE HAND BELEVEN IN HET DESIGNHOTEL
Ontdek Mannheim en zijn stedelijke charme. De binnenstad van Mannheim wordt doorkruist door twee historische hoofdstraten. De Kurpfalzstraße loopt van het barokke paleis naar de Neckartor. Op de Paradeplatz stuit ze op de winkelstraat de Planken. De vierkanten ertussen zijn aangeduid met een letter en een getal. In de belangrijkste winkelstraat Planken kunt u heerlijk gaan winkelen.
Dan is het maar goed dat gasten die op zoek zijn naar accommodatie in Mannheim met ons hotel een nieuwe optie hebben die ook nog eens over uitstekende beoordelingen beschikt. Ons betaalbare designhotel heet u tijdens uw reis welkom midden in het centrum van de voormalige residentiestad. Het hotel lig direct naast tramhalte ‘Paradeplatz’ en op loopafstand van het centraal station van Mannheim, dus op de beste centrale locatie tussen de Planken. De accommodatie ligt op slechts een steenworp afstand van de voetgangerszone en de Rijn.
DE BINNENSTAD VAN MANNHEIM
Zelfs het grootste park van Mannheim, het Luisenpark, is slechts een wandeling verwijderd van de binnenplaats van het hotel. Overigens is het park in 2023 ook een van de twee evenementenlocaties van de tuinbouwshow ‘Bundesgartenschau’ in het centrum van Mannheim.
Direct naast het park ligt het Technomuseum, dat gespecialiseerd is in interactieve kennisoverdracht voor jong en oud. Hier kan men zelfs een ritje maken met een 19e-eeuwse stoomtrein. Voor parkeren in Mannheim raden we de parkeergarage N2 Stadthaus in het centrum van Mannheim aan.
MANNHEIM ZET DE TOON
Het maakt niet uit of het techno, pop of jazz is, Mannheim draait om muziek. Het hotel is ook ontworpen met het oog op de muziekstad Mannheim. De muren zijn gemaakt van luidsprekerelementen, de verlichting van trompetten en de vierde verdieping van het hotel beschikt over een heus concertpodium – het hotel weerspiegelt op stijlvolle wijze het ritme van de muziekstad Mannheim. Want cultuur in Mannheim is veelzijdig en betaalbaar.
De bars in de voetgangerszone zijn 's avonds echt de moeite waard. Als u een concert wilt bijwonen van uw favoriete band, kunt u kaartje kopen voor het culturele centrum ‘Alte Feuerwache’, een voormalige brandweerkazerne, en de trein nemen naar het gelijknamige treinstation. Overigens is daar ook het universitair ziekenhuis van Mannheim te vinden. Ook de SAP Arena biedt gasten onvergetelijke momenten. In het congrescentrum naast de watertoren en de kunstgalerie vinden niet alleen conferenties plaats, maar er staan ook muzieksterren op het podium. Het Carl-Benz-Stadion is de place-to-be voor echte voetballiefhebbers.
