Stay was good up to breakfast when there was confusion about if my breakfast was included. The member of staff came to my table 3 times to query the situation. In the end I had to produce my company reservation proof for him to leave me to my breakfast. It would have been far easier if he had said please call in at reception as there seems to be some confusion. Spoilt not only the breakfast but the overall stay.
It was a nice experience , the staffs were so helpful and nice. The room was perfect , it was a 💯.
Wonderful staff make it feel like a home from home - very welcoming and friendly, with special mention of the front desk team - Maria, Chloe, Mila, Dmba, Felicitas, Thada & Pablo. Annie and her housekeeping team do a great job of keeping the rooms clean to such a consistently high standard. Great value and flexibility of cancelling when plans change is a big factor in choosing to return frequently. Providing free quality newspapers (FT & NYT) is a real bonus.
Yet another excellent stay. Never disappoints and I look forward to returning in the future.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The communal space was very inviting and atmospheric. Great breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. Had very noisy neighbours on the first night, but great sleep in comfy bed the second night.
The pillows were either too hard or to soft. I hardly slept the first night. But the hotel is lovely
Stayed here before and came back as it's a great location, reasonably priced, stylish, comfortable and a nice bar. Didn't book breakfast this time as had it on a previous visit and cubs l found it disappointing for what it was. But with check out not until midday, I'm very happy to enjoy a lie in then pop round the corner to Weatherspoons for an all day breakfast!
Brilliant stay, can not fault. Staff very friendly. Rooms clean, small but perfect. Bar and lounge area very relaxing and tastfully decorated. Hotel location ideal, right beside a tram stop. Will visit again.
Motel 1 is a pleasant, reasonably priced, city location with friendly staff. The rooms were modern and clean. Areas for improvement would be some some arrangement with one of the local parking garages and more clarity around when you book online and do not provide a credit card guarantee that the room may be cancelled by 6:00 p.m. if you had not checked in by then.
City centre ,price range, friendly staff clean comfortable, grat bed pillows. One of the best value for money places I've ever stayed at. Can't say anything about breakfast
The room was smaller than expected for a kingsize, however it wasn’t an issue as the hotel itself was in a perfect location for us. The room was clean, it has sockets near the mirrors for getting ready, and we were provided with plenty of towels. The cleaners were very polite and friendly! I will definitely be staying again

Love Motel One, our go to place in Manchester. Staff really friendly and helpful. Ticks all the boxes for a mid range hotel. Having tried a number of their locations in Europe they don’t disappoint and are of the same standard

Excellent location right in the heart of the city. Bed was incredibly comfortable and slept great. Room was well soundproofed nothing heard from inside or out. Room had everything we needed. The only thing to improve would be for proper mugs and glasses in the rooms as opposed to the paper cups.

After staying at the property with family we found a place where for a reasonable city centre price a quality hotel which we will use again. The bedrooms were functional and the bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower area made you want to use it.All in all had a super night's sleep and would recommend the facility to anyone who needs a place to stay whilst in Manchester.
Room clean and linen clean. Problems sorted very quickly. Although we still couldn't get the heating how we like it. Could do with detailed instructions for non tech savvy people.

Friendly staff comfy beds and bar until 2 am, so usefull if you have gone to a show. Very clean hotel and bedroom
The quality of service is very good, the rooms are clean and all expected amenities are to hand. What is poor, unfortunately, is that the rooms are claustrophobic with very little desk space to work or stretch arms out in. Particularly poor is the breakfast as it is only a bare minimum continental with cheap provisions (horrible coffee) in a dark room with only a handful of proper tables and chairs to sit up at. Please look at Travelodge to see how a far better breakfast experience can be done despite being economy. Though the room bathrooms are modern, clean, bright and provide everything one needs - they are *cold*.
Lovely stay, nice room, lovely bar area, breakfast looked great. Only issue I had was that I was given conflicting information about check out time. Otherwise great.
Lovely warm welcome from Maria and T at reception…couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful… room was clean and nicely decorated, bed very comfortable and location excellent. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel.
From the welcome at reception to the room, all was great. We enjoyed the bar too - and the prices there were reasonable.
Our first time in this Motel One and good to report that it is typical of the brand. Very nice and efficient staff on reception. Perfect check in experience. The hotel looks great. A completely usual Motel One room. That's a compliment. So far a perfect 10. Visited the bar around 23.00 after a busy evening and the two points were deducted. Almost no beer left! No German bier at all! Had to drink UK brewed Heineken. The bar keeper explained that there had been a football match the day before and they hadn't yet restocked. Wow. That must have been a surprise to everyone, a football match in Manchester? Please try harder. Manchester is a city full of hotels.
Better this time, although I would have hoped for a room upgrade being my second stay with the hotel.
A large water leak happened from the washroom into the bedroom. The leak seemed to have come under the wall between the bed and the bathroom. So behind the sink maybe, but the floor inside the bedroom aside my bed was soaking wet and a large puddle was visible.
Nonsense price/quality performance. Amazing experience. In the center of Manchester, with so warming and helpful people, a hotel that feels more expensive than what you paid. Very happy, I will repeat and I will search for in other cities!

Comfortable beds and friendly staff.
Clean bedrooms however wasn’t keen on the paper cups for hot drinks but can always bring my own mug in the future. Bed was super comfy and hotel is located in a good area. This was my second visit and I will be back again when I’m next in Manchester.
Cosy, comfy and clean room. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming. The price is very good. The location is perfect for the town centre and the AO arena. Situated next to St Peters Square and the frequency of the trams made it even better.
Was in prime location for the theatre would stay again
This is the second time i have stayed here and the room has been absolutely freezing and the AC is very slow to heat up. Also, neither my kettle or TV worked in the morning!

Room clean and comfortable, as expected. Online check-in pointless as had to check-in at desk anyway. App check-in also incredibly tedious. A very restricted selection of food at breakfast for plant based diets and so hard to justify the cost.
The central location makes it a perfect place to stay in central Manchester with excellent transport options. Motel One St Peters Square is very comfortable, extremely quiet and with efficient and friendly staff. The beds are super too. I always stay here and it is always a lovely experience.

Prima locatie in het centrum van manchester, snelle incheck, Mooi ingerichte kamer, ondanks vriendelijke prijs voelde het als een luxe hotel. Heel goed geslapen op het comfortabele bed. Fijn dat het raam open kan, hou niet van geairconditioneerde kamers waarbij raam niet open kan. Papieren bekers voor thee wat minder maar begrijp dat ik zo'n groot hotel het ook wel makkelijk is. Zou zeker nog een keer overwegen om in deze keten een overnachting te boeken.

Hotel in april geboekt, voor achteraf teveel geld. Bleek ook nog in engelse pond te zijn. Prijs kort vantevoren was stuk lager. De prijzen van motel one zijn flink gestegen, we sliepen er regelmatig in amsterdam. Maar die is nu ook erg duur, was altijd value for money, maar nu niet meer.

Chesterfield meubels, indrukwekkende boekenplanken en geruite dessins stralen Britse gezelligheid uit in ons derde hotel in Manchester, Motel One Manchester-St Peter's Square. Loop dus gewoon binnen voor een kopje thee, voordat u vanuit ons designhotel op ontdekkingstocht in de stad gaat. Ons Motel One Manchester-St. Peter's Square is het ideale uitgangspunt om Cottonopolis, zoals Manchester vanwege zijn verleden als centrum van de katoenindustrie ook wel wordt genoemd, te gaan verkennen. Als u heel specifieke plannen hebt en een stukje moet rijden, bijvoorbeeld naar het Old Trafford voetbalstadion voor een wedstrijd, dan kunt u de tram meteen bij de halte op St. Peter's Square nemen. Ons Motel One is niet alleen qua openbaar vervoer ideaal gelegen, maar dankzij de centrale ligging is het bovendien bij uitstek geschikt voor iedereen die graag zonder plannen en spontaan zijn neus achterna wil gaan. Want vanuit ons designhotel wandelt u regelrecht naar Chinatown of het levendige Gay Village.

In de directe omgeving van ons betaalbare hotel is nog meer te doen. Tal van hoogtepunten die de stad te bieden heeft, zijn te voet in slechts een paar minuten te bereiken: het Palace Theatre, de Manchester Art Gallery, de St. Mary's Church, het Science & Industry Museum. Alles dus, wat het hart van kunst- en cultuurliefhebbers begeert. Vooral boekenwurmen en architectuurliefhebbers komen nabij ons hotel aan hun trekken. Wat dacht u van een bezoekje aan de Portico Library, de John Rylands Library, de Central Library of gewoon aan alle drie? Ze liggen niet alleen op loopafstand, maar zijn ook zowel van buiten als van binnen het bekijken meer dan waard.
Ook zakenreizigers hebben het met ons gunstig geprijsde hotel in Manchester goed getroffen. De luchthaven kan snel en zonder overstappen met het openbaar vervoer bereikt worden. In ons designhotel zelf bieden wij u handige in- en uitchecktijden en gratis wifi aan, zodat u tijdens uw verblijf efficiënt kunt werken en, ondanks eventuele deadlines, toch nog kunt ontspannen.
