Lovely staff, beautifully designed lobby and room. Unfortunately the towels were not very clean. The bath mat provided on the first day had a used plaster stuck to it. No hot breakfast.
Location, comfort and great service bang in the city centre. Always great value for money.
The reception staff were so helpful and accommodating. The bar area had a great atmosphere, and was full of people enjoying their evening. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I would definitely recommend Motel One
There were few things that bothered: when you enter the room, the TV is automatically turned on. Better if it would stay off. The other thing was that the devices couldn’t connect to the operator’s internet network while in the room. But the same happened inside other buildings as well so I guess nothing you could impact.
The room was perfectly comfortable but very basic for the price. I paid more than the Premier Inn but the level of facilities was about the same. The breakfast selection was poor - no cooked offering and only and a basic continental. Overall I do not feel it was worth the money
Very impressed! Room was spotless and shower, quality of bed and linen, tea/coffee, towels, quietness inside room etc all exceeded what I expected for the price. Loved the bar area, decor made it look really cosy and welcoming. Also liked the fact bar remained open until 2am which is great when returning from a gig.
Booked for me by a colleague, Motel One was a great find. Good price for a comfortable room and.decent breakfast. Way finding in the hotel, signs etc could be better. And having lifts opposite rooms seems a bit unfair to those who are allocated them from a noise and disruption perspective. Despite showing my booking to the Reception staff, it took far longer than it needed to check me in.

Initially I booked another hotel because your prices for Saturday night are not viable. I would definitely stay again but please don't play jokes with pricing. I see in your calendar the price for night may vary 5 times (55-280GBP), that's insane.

The Motel One is in a great position just seconds from St Peters Tram stop and easy to see. The staff are super friendly. The lobby is very stylish and cosy with lots of comfy chairs and nooks. The breakfast was very good for cold meats, boiled eggs and pastries and cereals/fruit etfc. Would have been great to have a mini fridge or a vending machine to buy cold drinks in summer. Rooms are small but well designed with hanging spaces and desk. It was a really great place to stay.

The hood in the toilet is very dusty. It feels like it hasn't been cleaned since it was opened
Great hotel at affordable prices. Rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable. Mila and Dhemba at the reception are always welcoming upon the check in, and accommodate room preferences wherever possible.
pre booked check in so straight through room was nicely cooled with aircon and also right in the city center but super quiet room and slept soundly
The hotel was fabulously decorated and with the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in! The only thing to let the room down was the lack of proper coffee making facilities - something the standard elsewhere implies should be provided. The staff were also really good, and extras like the later checkout time of midday, along with the ability to leave luggage free of charge, just adds to the brilliance. Finally, as my eye sight is beginning to change, having a magnifying mirror in the bathroom was fantastic. I wish there were Motel Ones everywhere we go!

It does what it says on the tin. Very reasonably priced for what you get. They have hotelling down to a fine art and provide just the right amount of what you need whilst managing their costs to deliver a long term sustainable business. I’ll stay here again. The one thing I don’t like…the carpets, the design makes it feel like it would hide dirt. Unfortunately I didn’t bring along a pair of slippers which I’ll ensure I do on my next visit.

Great location, good size room, very comfortable. Nice breakfast. Could perhaps provide non-dairy alternative to milk for tea/coffee in the room, but I usually buy my own anyway.
Comfortable stay in St Peter’s Square. Everything needed was provided….. hot shower…. toiletries…. cleanliness of room. A few disappointments……the first was the size of room. For two people it was claustrophobic…. the tv screen on the wall was too close to view causing eye strain & the end of the bed only one person at a time can walk around the room. Thankfully a lovely member of staff Pablo was kind enough to upgrade us to slightly bigger room as we were staying for 8 days! Lastly my final concern was regarding telephone. Possibly the hotel cannot provide telephone services to each room but to have a link to a member of staff at reception may be important. Very isolating for one individual staying at the hotel on business in a room with no one in the corridor? Only if it was a handset with a switch to main desk at reception? Might be worth considering. All in all a pleasant stay with lovely staff always ready with a smile. Thank you & yes we will stay again!
This was an excellent base for an overnight trip to Manchester. The room was clean, comfortable and on a hot night, the air-conditioning was superb!
Clean, comfortable and a great location. Very friendly staff. Nice bar area, decent sized room and bathroom. Enough accessible plug sockets and a good magnifying mirror in the bathroom were welcome. Excellent value for money

The hotel was clean and the rooms were lovely, small but worked. The staff above anything were amazing I was very impressed with the staff and their service. The bed was very comfortable and got a great sleep. To my surprise the bathrooms were very clean and I’m impressed I saw no mold in the showers as I’m used to seeing this in other hotels.
best hotel we have ever stayed at bed and pillows were unbelievably comfy, staff were amazing we got checked in at 12:30! Although check out is at 12pm we couldn’t get back into our room at half 11 to get our bags, a lovely cleaner had got us back into our room.
The hotel was clean, well kept, lovely decor inside. The bar was stunning. The seating and lounge area luxurious. The staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious. What was average was the bedroom. It looked like white emulsion over wood chip on the walls. No wow factor. No spa or pool. No cooked breakfast. No restaurant.

Aangenaam hotel. Concept van ontbijt in de zeteljes van de foyer origineel en leuk. Aangename kamers.

Prima hotel op een mooie plek in het centrum. Uitstekende bar en vriendelijk personeel. De kamer was niet heel groot, maar dat wisten wij van te voren.
Ik was vroeger dan voorzien aangekomen in het hotel en gelukkig was er al een kamer klaar voor mij, dankzij het online inchecken. De medewerkster aan het onthaal was heel klantvriendelijk en spontaan. Maar ook ieder andere medewerker was heel attent! Locatie is TOP. Het hotel ligt heel centraal. Ik blijf fan van Motel1One!

Prima locatie in het centrum van manchester, snelle incheck, Mooi ingerichte kamer, ondanks vriendelijke prijs voelde het als een luxe hotel. Heel goed geslapen op het comfortabele bed. Fijn dat het raam open kan, hou niet van geairconditioneerde kamers waarbij raam niet open kan. Papieren bekers voor thee wat minder maar begrijp dat ik zo'n groot hotel het ook wel makkelijk is. Zou zeker nog een keer overwegen om in deze keten een overnachting te boeken.

Chesterfield meubels, indrukwekkende boekenplanken en geruite dessins stralen Britse gezelligheid uit in ons derde hotel in Manchester, Motel One Manchester-St Peter's Square. Loop dus gewoon binnen voor een kopje thee, voordat u vanuit ons designhotel op ontdekkingstocht in de stad gaat. Ons Motel One Manchester-St. Peter's Square is het ideale uitgangspunt om Cottonopolis, zoals Manchester vanwege zijn verleden als centrum van de katoenindustrie ook wel wordt genoemd, te gaan verkennen. Als u heel specifieke plannen hebt en een stukje moet rijden, bijvoorbeeld naar het Old Trafford voetbalstadion voor een wedstrijd, dan kunt u de tram meteen bij de halte op St. Peter's Square nemen. In de directe omgeving van ons betaalbare hotel is nog meer te doen. Tal van hoogtepunten die de stad te bieden heeft, zijn te voet in slechts een paar minuten te bereiken: het Palace Theatre, de Manchester Art Gallery, de St. Mary's Church, het Science & Industry Museum. Alles dus, wat het hart van kunst- en cultuurliefhebbers begeert. Vooral boekenwurmen en architectuurliefhebbers komen nabij ons hotel aan hun trekken. Wat dacht u van een bezoekje aan de Portico Library, de John Rylands Library, de Central Library of gewoon aan alle drie? Ze liggen niet alleen op loopafstand, maar zijn ook zowel van buiten als van binnen het bekijken meer dan waard.
