Always book this hotel can't fault it everyone kind and helpful good location lovely welcome at the reception
It was generally good - the staff were very nice and the bed was very comfortable, but there was quite a strong smell of drains in my bathroom (room 633) - I thought it would be worth checking out what's happening there.
The hotel was lovely and the location is very good. How ever there were little things that bother me: the shower could have stronger water pressure and the wi-fi sometimes went off and you need to re connect again. One more thing is that we looked for scrambled eggs and bacon and there was none.
I thought the room was overpriced for size and facilities. I had to move the furniture to close the curtains, nothing to use as a glass after cleaning your teeth and at the price the breakfast should have been included
What a lovely hotel. The room and shower had everything we needed. The reception area is lovely and good to sit and relax there. All of the staff were really polite and helpful. We loved the location too as very close to the train station and within easy reach of Christmas Markets. We would definitely use the hotel again as very impressed.
Room clean but no storage space apart from a tiny rail. No drawers to put anything away. Air conditioning did not work either, despite trying. I ticked “recommend” but would warn people that there was little hanging space and air con might not work .
The staff were welcoming, helped put our luggage in storage until check in. The hotel lobby was very nicely styled. Friendly welcoming seating , great design , stylish and simple. The room was great! Clean , modern ,well equipped for an overnight stop. I loved the shower with three shower pressures on a a twirly shower choice which was nice. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an overnight stay or two in Manchester . So near the station it was very convenient.
Never stayed in such a good valued, clean and friendly hotel as this one. Highly recommend.

I couldn’t believe how close it was to Piccadilly train station, me and my son loved it ideal location when visiting Christmas markets , would definitely stay again , and pillows really soft , great night sleep after a few hot mulled wines
Central for station, buses and trams. 10 minutes walking distance to shopping mall and Christmas market. Hotel reception was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Room was adequate in size. Bed linen and towels very clean. Overall room was clean. Bit small but big enough for sleeping and that’s all that was needed. Corridors on floor 5 clean.
Overall this was a good hotel.staff were very good and the hotel is in a great location.some small issues with cleanliness though.

From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with kindness and warmth. Reception got me into my room early which was really welcomed. Cleaning staff efficient and kind. Rooms spotless.. Fantastic experience as usual.
Very easy checkin and the facilities are good
Easy to book. Amazingly close to station. Very helpful staff found me a charger to borrow. Also we had omitted to book bedding for the sofar bed but the staff found some for us at short notice and with no quibbles. Very glamorous bar / lobby area and a really lovely breakfast. Bathroom off our bedroom was quite smelly and took some airing. Some air freshener would have been good. Nice to see organic soap products.
Location wise this place is excellent for the Trams and for the eateries around Picadilly railway station. The interior is spotless and very well laid out, comfortable to be stood in. The room was very nice, no view but not an issue. I will say I struggle to sleep in hotel beds but I had no issue with this one. The one tiny thing was the room was a wee bit too warm and had to open a window (In winter :) ). That said I slept well. Would definitely return.
The accomodation was as expected. Good value for money.
The hotel is a reasonable price, good location, accessible to the trains, trams and a car park. I was most impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel rooms. Nice bar. Will visit again.
Motel was in the perfect location, 5 mins walk from the station. Spacious room. The only two negative things were the paper cups in the room, why not proper mugs? And there was an old plaster from someone else stuck on our shower mat, otherwise it was great!
Everything about our stay was first class. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was very nice and spotless. Breakfast was outstanding. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
A beautiful hotel , very impressive rested with the decor throughout the hotel . Really comfy bed . The staff were great very efficient.

Nice reception area but very basic room. For £170 a night I would expect to have access to either a water dispenser in reception.. having had a long train delay I asked for a glass of water and was told I could buy water at the bar. In the room there are only paper cups for tea and water … really unpleasant to drink out of. There was also no usb phone charger socket, it’s years since I’ve actually needed to carry a plug around with me. So had to go and purchase one as reception didn’t have spares.WiFi was poor in the room. The bed was comfortable and the shower powerful so that was nice but all in all I’d say the rooms were comparable with a travelodge. Not what I’d expect for £170
Room uncomfortable due to minimalist design, tiny bathroom, hard bed, and mostly complete lack of functional temperature control.

Perfectly located. Modern area downstairs. Breakfast amd bar snacks are pricey for what they are. Room was adequate, nice shower. Some mineral water in the room would be a simple touch. Wifi OK but buts out now and again. I'd stay again for price and location.

Love staying at this hotel. My room this time 601 has the door in a corner location. Outside seemed to become a dustbin with rubbish and towels dumped there, don't know why but was very unhappy about it.

Our stay was ok, we had a comfortable sleep however the smell of sewage was absolutely horrendous in the room. It woke us up out of a sleep it was that strong. We couldn't open the bathroom door.
It was cold in the room, even with correct adjustment of the aircondition to 24 degrees.

Ik ben al in diverse Motel One hotels geweest in verschillende landen (en nu voor de 3e keer in Manchester). Altijd voorspelbaar prettig: de bedden zijn prima en alle basic dingen die nodig zijn voor een fijn verblijf zijn doorgaans goed in orde. Dat was ook nu weer zo, maar ik vond dat er ook wat dingen aan een opknapbeurt of serieuze schoonmaak toe zijn: het tapijt was viezig, het kleine bureautje beschadigd, op de TV miste alle BBC kanalen. Belangrijkste suggestie: doe iets aan de inkijk vanuit het station en nabijgelegen gebouwen. Mijn kamer op de 4e verdieping keek direct uit op de hoofdingang van het station en omdat dit zo dichtbij is moest ik eigenlijk steeds de gordijnen dichthouden. Hang hier wat vitrage op en de gasten hebben een stuk meer privacy.
Een heel goed gelegen hotel met een hippe uitstraling, prettige lounge en mooie kamers (waarvan sommige met prachtig uitzicht). De service was fantastisch, wat een aardig en behulpzaam personeel! Heerlijk ontbijt met een ruime keuze en alles was lekker en vers. Ik zou zeker teruggaan naar dit hotel bij een volgend bezoek aan Manchester.

Perfecte locatie in Manchester, fijne kamer die alles biedt wat je nodig hebt, fijn receptie personeel, super aanvullende diensten zoals heerlijk ontbijt en tijdelijk opslag voor bagage. Ik kom zeker graag terug!
Motel One Piccadilly een aanrader; ideale locatie; vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Enige minpunt - ontbijt.
We hebben het prima naar onze zin gehad in Motel OnE Manchester. Het zeer behulpzame personeel, prima ontbijt en de ligging jaarbijdrage het station en op loopafstand van het centrum waren top. De kamer en douche vonden wij niet ruim, maar voldeden.
Schoon, trendy hotel met goede bedden. Prima prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.
