Good basic hôtel. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Quiet.
The room was extremely small in size. I expected it bigger and with more areas to keep the clothes (no wardrobe or even drawers in the room). No place to put the toothbrushes or a drawer for the make up. The people were lovely, kind and ready to help. Their level of english was very good and the lobby area was beautiful to sit down for a drink.

It has been some time since I have been business travelling the last time, but I am very satisfied by the service and offering of the Motel One in Freiburg.
The breakfast could be more diverse. Daily the same. Good quality though. Rooms are not that big, but still comfy, especially the bed. Central location a few steps from old town is fantastic
Our staying at motel one hotel Freiburg was very satisfying. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful, the hotel well organised and clean, the personnel friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, because it offers easy and fast access to the center of the city, public transportation and the central train station also. I would totally recommend this hotel for accommodation at this beautiful city!!

Overall a very pleasant experience. The hotel is ideally located near the city center. The bar offers a nice atmosphere but is understaffed on weekends. Rooms are typical for Motel One - well-appointed but compact. Breakfast is adequate but could use more variety. Occasionally, there was a noticeable odor in the hallway. It’s worth noting that rates tend to increase on weekends, which somewhat diminishes the value for money Motel One is known for. Despite minor issues, the stay was generally enjoyable.

This was the second Motel One location I've stayed at in Germany, and both experiences were excellent. Rooms are clean and well appointed and the hotel is always centrally located to attractions in the city. Staff are kind and welcoming.

The room was clean and modern, the bed was comfortable. I loved the local decorations and the 'live' fireplace on TV with the fire cracking sounds - cool idea and it added to the coziness. The room was very small though - enough for 1 person on a business trip, but probably too small for 2 on vacation.

Price: High, especially for room size (very cramped). Maintenance: Inadequate: Bathroom smelled constantly like a sewer; maintenance requested only cleaned externally; offensive odor continued throughout stay.

Hotel is clean, new, and comfortable. But the temperature outside during my stay was abnormally warm for the time of year and the hotel did not adjust the HVAC to accommodate. The heat was on and the air conditioning was off, which meant the temperature in my room was easily 25°C with the windows closed. This meant needing to sleep with the windows open in a room facing a busy street. I've stayed in countless hotels in large cities before, but never once have I needed to sleep with the windows open. It felt like trying to sleep at a bus terminal. Furthermore, the seating in the breakfast area is great for lounging but terrible for eating. There is no reason a person should need to eat from a coffee table while crouched over from a lounge chair.

Got the chance to stay in the same brand on different cities in Germany and the consistency in quality is amazing 🤩. From the people in the reception, in the lounge and at breakfast you find really friendly and welcoming people to help you. The location in all of them very convenient.

We had a family room, and I'd like to have a wardrobe or more shelves in the room to put clothes on. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

I like the Motel One Style pretty much. Especially the lounge is very nice: modern and cosy at the same time.
Een drinkglas op de kamer is het enige dat ik miste. Die moest ik nu gaan lenen bij de bar.
Meerdere malen verbleven in een Motel, deze ervaring in Freiburg niet best. Kamer niet schoon, viezigheid op een van de kussens, een overdaad aan schaamhaar in de douche cabine. Parkeerplek vooraf gevraagd te reserveren, was vol, tijdens ontbijt melde een van de gasten de avond ervoor zonder reservering te hebben kunnen parkeren. Complete deceptie na eerdere overnachtingen Motel One.

Receptie, bediening, kamer en prijs was allemaal goed. Alleen de vloer in de douchecel is echt spekglad en schuin. Dat was erg gevaarlijk.
Vriendelijke ontvangst, kamers zeer goed in orde! Voor pal in het centrum van freiburg te zitten perfecte ondergrondse parking met ruime plaatsen!
Rustige kamer op de 8e verdieping, met veel licht en mooi uitzicht. Zalig. Goed bed, goede hoofdkussens, nette (bad)kamer, goede douche. Ontbijt zoals steeds prima. Goede ligging in Freiburg, tram stopt naast de deur. Dit was mijn 19e Motel One-hotel, ik blijf een grote fan.

Ongeacht of u nu een korte vakantie boekt in de Breisgau, de natuur wilt opsnuiven in het Zwarte Woud of voor een zakelijke afspraak naar Freiburg moet, in ons Motel One Freiburg ontvangen wij u altijd met een geslaagde mix van traditie en modern design. In de One Lounge wacht u elke ochtend een evenwichtig ontbijt met op de achtergrond de wijngaarden en zilvermijnen. Als dat geen stijlvolle manier is om de dag te starten! Scènes uit het stadsleven worden geïllustreerd in de werken van de illustrator Tillmann Waldvogel, die u trouwens ook op de kamers terugvindt. Een hele wand vol handgesneden koekoeksklokken herinneren aan de rijke traditie van het Zwarte Woud en prikkelen onze gasten om het mystieke landschap te ontdekken.
Dankzij onze werkzones en congreszalen kunt u in een aangename sfeer ontspannen werken. En daarna is het tijd voor een regionale kwaliteitswijn aan onze bar of voor een heerlijk relaxmoment in de Outdoor Lounge van het Design Hotel. En dat allemaal in het midden van de stad.
Het symbool van deze stad, de Munster van Freiburg, ligt in de directe omgeving van het hotel. En als u vanaf daar nog wat verder wandelt langs de beroemde Bächle, bent u zo in het oude stadscentrum. Maar opgelet: volgens de legende moet iedereen die in een Bächle trapt, trouwen met een Freiburger!
