Excellent hotel, great atmosphere, very convenient location, friendly staff, nice breakfast
This is the second Motel One I've stayed in. The hotel is in a fantastic location to explore the city of Manchester. We were in town to see a concert at the CoOp Live arena- it was so easy to get there by tram and decided to walk back afterwards which was also so easy! We stayed for three nights and found plenty to do within walking distance. The hotel has a beautifully designed lobby. Boasting a fantastic bar with a welcoming and relaxed vibe. It smells lovely too! The rooms have everything you'd expect from a great hotel. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Easy check in and check out. They were also able to store our luggage at check out so we could enjoy the rest of the day before our evening train home! I will definitely be staying again!

Great staff, personable for a large hotel. Good room although prefer a bedside table I don't have to crane my neck round to see. Also there was only a box-style table/storage shelf on one side of bed. The material skirting boards are weird and a dust catcher. Gross.
I always tend to go with Motel One. Friendly people. Rooms are nicely kept.
I stayed here for just one night but the hotel is clean, and beautiful. The staff are friendly as well.
All fantastic apart from cleanliness of toilets opposite the bar - the sink had hair in it and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time and cubicles were dirty on the floor. My coffee cup finished with at 1.30pm was still sitting when I returned to the bar at 5pm and hadn’t been cleared away. Room fantastic and service fabulous - staff very friendly and helpful. Fantastic location.
Great place, I've stayed many times. I am however disappointed, as I have always had room only, & paid £55 without breakfast. The last few weeks the price has gone to £65, then £73 & my last visit a few days ago £80!! I really don't understand how the price can be bumped up so much &,in October. So unsure if I will keep staying there in the future.
Bed and pillows were great. Nice room. Shower not very powerful but perhaps because I was on the 12th floor. Would appreciate some water in the room. Staff were super friendly

Comfortable and clean room, carpet could do with a steam clean as it looked a little grubby and the bathroom could do with a refresh as we had a loose floor tile and a few cracked ones near the toilet but overall ok
The public area of the hotel were very nice, excellent breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff and a really warm and inviting space. The bedroom however was not as good. Whilst it was clean (the bathroom was exceptionally clean) the carpet in the main bedroom and the coffee facilities were disgusting, and there was an unpleasant smell particularly after putting the heater on. - needs updating.

We love this hotel and stay every year for the grand final. Its an excellent location for us. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean. The bar area is lovely and cosy.

An ideally located hotel, the only (minor) issue I had was that the bathroom door didn't close properly. Other than that everything was great.
Great staff very helpful
It was a good stay following our last one in the different branch in Manchester back in August. The only down side I would mention is the TV in the room, the reception is quite poor and many channels were unstable due to antenna problem (at least it is what said on the screen). Otherwise it is in a very convenient location just next to Piccadilly station.
Great hotel, location is perfect as just next to train station. Staff are incredible, very friendly. room has everything you need. will be back. 😊

A good experience, welcoming and comfortable, an excellent breakfast and friendly reception and staff. Unfortunately the bathroom had an appalling sickly sewage type smell. Looking back I should have mentioned it from the off, and asked for a different room but was very pre occupied and didn’t. I would definitely use Motel One again.
Great modern budget hotel close to station and most city centre attractions
Ticks all the right boxes: keycard entry, air conditioning, large windows, block out curtains, comfortable bed and pillows, good shower with decent bodywash, quality toilet paper, in-room coffee station, etc. Not always a given at this price range. Well impressed with everything on offer and/or included.
Really conveniently located, clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff very helpful and cheery. Bed was comfortable. View was excellent.
This hotel was great for a 3 star, it was very clean, modern and the location was perfect. The beds was comfy and room was just the right size for me and my daughter. Overall no complaints and definitely will be staying again.
Commentaire envoyé le 17 septembre 2025 séjour parfait dans un hôtel au top et une ville qui nous a charmés Avec une note de 10 10 D'abord un emplacement génial : nous avons pu découvrir Manchester à pieds dans tous les sens ! l'Hôtel est superbe, le personnel hyper agréable et disponible et que dire des chambres : très claires, bien aménagées sans être énormes, très propres ainsi que la salle de bain équipée de shampooing/douche, gel main, miroir grossissant. Le sèche cheveux est dans une housse au dessus du coin "tea and coffee" dans un placard de la chambre. Et pour la première fois en UK, il y a deux prises comme les nôtres : pas besoin d'adaptateur ! Les petits déjeuners sont très variés : pains, viennoiseries, boissons, fruits, oeufs, charcuteries, fromage, etc... avec une grande amplitude horaire. Ce qui ne va pas ? aucune idée tellement tout était parfait et c'est le sentiment de mon groupe de 7 personnes et 7 chambres...

Hôtel idéalement situé à côté de Picadilly Station, idéal lorsque l'on arrive en avion car une ligne ferroviaire existe entre l'aéroport et la gare Hôtel très propre, personnel vraiment agréable ! Quelle que soit la demande, il se pliera en quatre pour vous satisfaire Nous y retournerons sans problème si nous allons à nouveau à Manchester
Tout était parfaitla literie excellente
Bien placé pas loin du centre ville, en face de la gare très pratique. Très jolie hôtel et belle chambre, manque de rangement dans la chambre. On entend le bruit du couloir et la chambre donne sur un immeuble voisin un peu gênant .. le personnel très gentil, accueillant et serviable. La wifi marche très mal

Les taches sur la moquette de la chambre cela est décevant. Poil ou cheveux sur le lit et sur un des linges ! La tablette dans la chambre n’avait pas été nettoyée. C’est dommage.

Notre hôtel design est situé dans le centre de Manchester à proximité immédiate de nombreuses attractions touristiques telles que le Royal Manchester Theatre et la cathédrale de Manchester. Picadilly Station, la gare centrale de la ville, se trouve juste en face et vous permettra de vous rendre facilement aux Salford Quays et à l’aéroport de Manchester.
