Positive and convenient is the availability of parking space directly at the hotel. Potential for improvements: 1. At breakfast about 8:30 a.m. there was a relatively large crowd, queues formed. Due to the arrangement of dishes, coffee machines, cutlery, etc., there was no flow. I've experienced this better in other MotelOne locations. Rethinking of layout and arrangement of the equipment with the aim of creating flow would significantly improve the situation. 2. The bar was also well attended in the evening. Space is limited. We found (6 people) place near the reception. We wanted to drink gin long drinks. Since there was probably no service here, we had to order the drinks at the bar, get them and pay directly. We didn't find that very amusing. Here, too, the situation could be improved with changes to layout and arrangement.

I had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and so close to most sites. It is also very close to tram stops if you would like to go farther out. The lobby was beautiful with lots of seating and floor to ceiling windows. The beers in the lobby were cheap (at least by US standards). This was my 4th Motel One stay and all of them have been great!
The hotel in total is better, but the breakfast is still not good.

Another lovely stay at this Motel One. A nice room on a high floor with a view of the Zwinger, as requested, thank you. Charming and welcoming reception staff. Excellent location - everything within walking distance.
Please put a fridge in the room. Also a bathroom kit with the essentials. Breakfast was basic comparing to the overall hotel experience. It could be improved.

Excellent hotel. Very swanky decor. Staff is genuinely kind. Near the Old Town so easy to go out and explore. Only issue we had was parking as we arrived late. The garage was full but we were able to park down the street in another garage. May be best to reserve a spot before you come if possible.
Clean, quiet, comfortable. Excellent location. Typical Motel One room and bathroom; quite small but adequate. Friendly and helpful staff. Have stayed before and would do so again. A pity that no Motel bars have draught beer
We stayed here on night for a short lay-over in Dresden. Our room was nice - despite being rather small. The local of the hotel is perfect for a walk around the old part of Dresden. Breakfast was OK, but nothing impressive. All in all OK value for money 😊

Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Best was the excellent air conditioning system which kept the room cool at night making it comfortable for sleeping.

Excellent. Néanmoins le prix du petit déjeuner est trop excessif. Et de surcroît pour les enfants de 8 ans: ils devraient avoir un prix réduit, ils ne mangent pas autant qu un adulte.

I love the Motel One concept, and last summer I noticed and commented on things in Dresden were really improving staff wise. My last stay, however, this was not so, and a male bar staff member was not as professional and attentive as it should be. I do understand how difficult it can be though to get really good staff. Still love Motel One and will use it whenever possible….x Astrid

Le bar était en travaux donc impossible de juger, il n’y a pas de minibar en chambre et chose étrange : il n’y avait que de l’eau chaude au robinet de la salle de bain !!! Donc prévoir un stock d’eau 🤔 Litterie moyenne. Par contre propreté irréprochable.

Le design du Motel One Dresde am Zwinger s’inspire du musée de la porcelaine du Zwinger. Auguste le Fort aimait déjà cet « or blanc », voilà pourquoi nous avons attribué une place choix au monarque sur le mur de notre One Lounge. Des photos du musée, des figurines en porcelaine de Saxe ainsi que des luminaires Skygarden de la marque Flos font également partie de notre concept design. À l’ombre des arcades s’étire notre grand lounge extérieur agrémenté de sept fontaines. À l’abri des bambous, vous pourrez vous y détendre tout en observant l’animation haute en couleur de la place Postplatz.
Si vous séjournez dans notre hôtel design à Dresde, vous serez en plein cœur de la splendeur baroque de la vieille ville. L’hôtel est au niveau du Zwinger et tout près d’autres sites parmi lesquels le château de la Résidence de Dresde (Dresdner Schloss) avec sa Voûte verte historique, l’opéra Semperoper et l’église Notre-Dame (Frauenkirche). Le célèbre Striezelmarkt qui attire les visiteurs à Noël avec ses Christstollen et son vin chaud, se trouve également à deux pas.
