The teams at all the Motel Ones we have stayed at are second to none. The rooms, while deliberately not large, contain everything we need for a short break. The only thing I would like to see is proper cups in the rooms again, rather than disposables.
Love this place and would definitely stay here again. The staff were all so friendly from the reception to the bar and those making up the rooms. Everyone was helpful. The rooms are simple and great.
A great hotel, modern, ideally located, gives a great city experience right in the centre of things
Heat did not work very well. No phone in room to contact reception. No space in shower to place soap/shampoo. Room interior adequate but could use an update.
Lovely friendly staff both at check in and serving drinks at the bar. Rooms nice and clean with comfortable bed.

The hotel was lovely and clean.
I really loved my stay with you. Staff are friendly and approachable and solved the problem I had with my hot room by providing me with a fan. Hotel was well appointed and very clean. Breakfast had vegan options which I was delighted at. I suggest putting plant based milk sachets in the room would be a great idea. I have arthritis and couldn’t use the cup provided in the room as it had no handle- please consider putting proper cups in the room.
staff was amazing
Small but very nice room. Modern with great facilities. Very comfy bed. The staff were friendly and professional (although one guy needed to iron his shirt). Disliked · The continental breakfast was very nice, but it was a shame there was not a choice for a cooked breakfast.
Superb stay with particularly outstanding service. The only thing I have critically to say is there’s no fan in the shower room and I kept banging my head on the bedside lights!

I love staying at Motel One. It is clean, stylish and great value for money. The sheets and towels are a particular plus. They always feel such good quality. The only thing I would improve is either the provision of steaming services or some ability to screencast as I couldn’t find this (I might have missed it).

I am a regular at the hotel in Newcastle ( weekly stays). From the front desk, to the cleaning team, everyone is extremely friendly, polite. The bar and breakfast team are fantastic ( Carla and David) ALWAYS go beyond in customer service, friendliness and making sure everyone is always happy. Every single visit.
Stayed here with my wife and friends what can I say a great hotel close to all your needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much bother.

Very convenient location and friendly helpful staff. There was however a real problem with the hot water which meant no hot showers. Was offered room change but friends who had stayed on another floor also had some issues and saw a few reviews which said similar so think it is a more general issue.
I stay here regularly and always come back for the friendly service and great value. On this visit I was unwell and Krista and the rest of the team were brilliant, even agreeing to check on me later in the evening as I was staying on my own. Can't fault the team, they always go above and beyond. Thank you!
Great staff and kind to my dog Lily too. From start of day and into the evening staff were proactive and nice to deal with. We will be back ! :)

Exceptional value for money. The location was unbeatable, and the decor was top-class. Service on arrival was very friendly, welcoming and professional. The room was 'snug' but acceptable. The continental breakfast was underwhelming. Would certainly recommend and return.
Reception was very good. Very polite and quick service. Evening on return to motel. Quiet drink at the bar. Good fast service. Rooms clean and tidy. Although when we both in separate rooms tried to shower. Hot water stopped after a few minutes and became luc warm,unfortunately.
The hotel is in an excellent location and a 5 minute walk from the station. The only down side was the room was very stuffy. Despite it being below freezing at night the windows can only open 2 inches and didn't cool it down. We ended up sleeping in just the duvet cover. The breakfast was a good continental and the hotel very stylish. The room and bathroom were compact but perfect for a city break.
Staff are professional and nice! House keeping is excellent! Room is very nice for the price point BUT it’s HOT, whilst the weather is around 40F the heating was set high in the hotel, this makes the room hot even after turning of the hot air and keeping the window open 24/7. There is no AC too.
The hotel is lovely, rooms are ideal and the staff are all wonderful! I had a bad fall on the quayside & arrived back at the hotel after 5 hours in A & E. Asked the staff for old towels to cover the pillow etc and they immediately offered help, first aid kit and told me not to worry about anything.
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff and lovely decor. Room was nice and compact. Top floor room was a bit too warm but it didn't spoil my stay.
Room was cold upon arrival and noisy to warm up quickly with the AC. Toilet flush button was broken (cosmetically - still functioned) which isn't a great look. Shower was freezing - waited for ages for water to warm up having tried various settings to no avail. A very brief and very cold shower was endured. Breakfast selection and layout was very odd. Tough to recommend.
Hotel had a really calm feel which was matched by the layout and design. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only criticism is I felt the breakfast is expensive for what was provided.
The common areas are great, the staff also. However, the chair in the room was very dirty and old and the carpet too. There was no window which could be opened. Overall It is a very good hotel but these issues are important and were not apparent last year when we stayed at the hotel.
Thank you for a fabulous stay, this is our 2nd time staying at your hotel. Great location to everything bars, restaurants, shopping centre. Beds very comfy, super clean. My only complaint is the room was very warm.
Model One was a great place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, the location was really central and the breakfast was delicious. Incredible value for money all round.
Fantastic central location and excellent friendly staff who accommodated our request for a reserved space for my hubby to have all his family round while he opened his 60th birthday gifts.

Ha sido una experiencia muy acogedora. Si vuelvo a Newcastle, seréis una de mis primeras opciones para repetir. Carla, la chica responsable del desayuno la mañana que pude desayunar allí, fue muy atenta, amable y encantadora...Motel One tiene suerte de contar con un capital humano de esta valía.
ideal para una pareja en fin de semana. Céntrico.
No es adecuado para una estadía larga (1 semana o más), y especialmente para viajes de trabajo. El baño tenía fritas en el suelo y se ve que hay una pérdida. El editado de almacenamiento es muy limitado. Hay que pedir plancha en la recepción y una vez que uno la tiene no hay espacio donde dejarla. No hay lugar para poner la maleta. No hay ni una heladera pequeña o frigobar. No hay servicio de lavandería, que es fundamental para un viaje de trabajo largo.
Personal amable y dispuesto, tuvieron en cuenta mis deseos, al asignarme la habitación. El único punto negativo fueron las almohadas: demasiado altas para mí.

Nuestro Motel One Newcastle en el corazón de la ciudad está caracterizado por el encanto del ladrillo visto: el estilo industrial de las auténticas fachadas de ladrillo recuerdan a la historia de esta ciudad obrera. En el interior, los puentes del río Tyne marcan el tema determinante de la decoración y el diseño; el estiloso bar con su imagen industrial rinde homenaje al trabajo del inventor del Rocket (cohete) como se conocía a la locomotora de vapor inventada por Robert Stephenson. Muebles de Baxter en cuero auténtico y alfombras de gran valor de Jan Kath completan el estilo industrial. Sofisticados detalles como sillas de Arketipo con extravagantes marcos de acero o una vitrina de espejos con garrafas de whisky le dan un toque encantador.
No se trata precisamente de una casualidad que el papel a rayas de la pared que decora la recepción aporte el inconfundible estilo británico y que además recuerde a las camisetas del Newcastle United. Su ubicación en el centro histórico es idónea para el estilo industrial moderno de nuestro económico hotel de diseño. Lugares emblemáticos como el Theatre Royal, el Grey’s Monument y el ayuntamiento de Newscastle están a muy pocos metros. También resulta muy práctica la cercanía a la estación central y al aeropuerto.
