I paid online for breakfast. During the checking, people didnt remind us the opening hours. On Sunday we wanted to take breakfast and we couldnt because it was close since 10 min… We had a late Check out at 3pm. We also put on the door the sign (do not enter / do not clean up or whatever) and the cleaner still knocked to the door and ask us to leave the room; she said that we paid for late check out and she said that if do not leave by 3 we need to pay another night. Most of the room were late check out next to us and i heard her knocking to différent rooms like that. The principle of late check out is not to disturb until this time. Last year it was still exactly the same problem so we would greatly appreciate if you can inform your cleanser of late check out rooms to avoid him/her knocking to the door before the Check out.
Great Location. Room size was good, and well furnished. It would be nice to have a few more amenities in the room - particularly some water glasses and the ability to make tea and coffee.
all good, except that i was missing a small fridge in the room. That would make life easier for a stay of a few days.
Motel One is always good and Mannheim was no exception. The Motel One bar here is especially good. My only complaint is that the breakfast is too expensive now for what is on offer. I have been staying in Motel Ones for years and the breakfast offer hasn't changed but the price has increased by about 8 to 8 Euros.
I am a regular customer of the Motel One chain. The hotel in Mannheim was just another one I visited, and I was very satisfied with the stay. I really liked the room (which was bigger than in many other MO hotels) and the breakfast room (which was much bigger too). We also had a nice evening in the bar. Thank you!

Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommended! I had an amazing stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive especially Vincenzo big thanks to him. The room was clean, The bed was super cozy, and I had a great night's sleep. The hotel’s location was perfect ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My only complaint is that all bar/lounge/breakfast transactions must be settled via a separate credit card transaction. I would prefer to add these to my room bill. Also, I feel the cost of the breakfast should warrant a bigger offering.
For the usual price ranges the room and service are great. The hotel and the rooms are clean and modern which is great. However I have paid a high rate due to a high season during a fair and for that price I would have expected at least a bottle of drinking water in my room. I was also missing a USB wall charger (there are only normal power plugs), which is great when travelling for business and today useful for a all mobile devices.

I think that Motel One Mannheim is the best Motel One experience i had so far!
Everything was okay. But there was no hand weigher at the reception to check luggage weight before flight.
perfect location in Paradeplatz, the hotel was really clean and the bed was incredibly comfy. however the room was set up for 1 person instead of 2 so we had to share a single duvet and use the same towel our first night. also when we came back to our room the next evening after being cleaned, all of our things had been gone through and one of my rings was missing - it seems the cleaners had rifled through our belongings and stolen my jewellery, worrying enough for us to check if our passports were still where we left them. the man at reception needed seem fussed when i reported this, and i think it’s unlikely I’ll see my ring again. otherwise a good stay.

I like Motel One Mannheim for its excellent customer service. From the front desk to the lounge&bar, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is always clean, the breakfast food is excellent and healthy. Motel One is always my first choice.
Average to good MotelOne experience. Was surprised and disappointed about the breakfast, though: no scrambled eggs or bacon.

Everything is perfect, great walls, you cant hear your neighbours. Great location! The only thing which is concerning that cleaning came to the room even though there was a sign “Don’t disturb!”
First I got a room over a construction site on the first floor. After a room change, I got a room over the ventilation from the restaurant, that constantly smelled like old frying oil. There was a lot of hairs in the bathroom too. The last night there was loud techno music all night.

Centrally situated, a very fancy lobby is receiving the guests, the rooms are not so big but for short business trips are perfect, the quality of the furniture is high, big TV, hair dryer, very good wi-fi connection...all amenities are available. You can ask for a taxi and is arriving in front of the lobby. Thank you !

The room (Mannheim, Germany) is perfectly adequate and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. Really enjoyed the variety etc.

Everything was great but I would have preferred the shower door to be closable, it was so hard to keep the bathroom floor dry Also more variety of breakfast would be great, for example scrambled eggs or bacon and sunny side up
The hotel itself was quite nice. The marketing department's emails are relentless and never stop, despite how many times I hit unsubscribe. It honestly makes me never want to stay at a Motel One again.

First time staying with Motel One but won't be the last - at last a hotel with some design and style that doesn't break the bank and can avoids bland business hotels when away from home.

It was a pleasant stay. We struggled to keep the temperature down in the room. The air-conditioning only seemed to be working only the last day and sleeping was difficult as we were too hot. I could not get a bowl of water in the bathroom to have a wet shave.
Motel One provides what it says - Minimalistic design at good prices. Being just one year old, the hotel is very modern, everything looks and feels new. Excellent location, being just at one of the main squares in Mannheim without hearing any of the noise outside. Breakfast feels a bit expensive, especially since it does not include any warm options (omelette, pancakes...). But if you want to treat yourself once, the bar and breakfast location is beautiful. My only comments for improvement would be - some days I left the "no need for cleaning today" message hanging on the door but the room was cleaned nevertheless. My toiletries were moved all over the place every time the sink was cleaned, but other than that, nothing to complain.
Nice hotel overall. Good location at the Paradeplatz. Rooms could use facecloths in bathroom and at least two luggage racks since there are no drawers to put clothes in. Shower is a bit slippery at the edge. Love the lounge area and breakfast. Server Mariluz Hoyos Cruz in the lounge was wonderful and very helpful!
Modern hotel - small rooms but all good - very clean and everything available. Bathroom was quite small but functional I did miss a kettle in my room to allow for some hot water - this would be a good addition
On my 2nd day I left a Do Not Disturb note on my door. Regardless, the staff did go in to do room service and once they were done, they left the window wide open. When I returned late that evening, the room was full of flies. Literally a swarm of flies over my bed. I was too tired to deal with this and went to sleep. I brought this up next morning to the reception and showed them the video. They did not seem at all surprised and were not one bit apologetic. They just made a note of the room number, so I have to ask is this a common occurrence in this hotel? --- Breakfast was OK but lacked in variety.

Instalaciones en perfecto estado, personal muy amable. Hacía bastante calor en la habitación, pero la climatización funcionaba muy bien. Estaría bien tener una mini nevera para poder guardar bebidas frías y/o un hervidor para poder prepararse un té o café

EL CASCO URBANO DE MANNHEIM
Incluso del parque más grande de Mannheim, Luisenpark, no queda muy lejos: basta con un paseo desde el mismo hotel. Y, por cierto, en 2023 es uno de los dos lugares donde se celebra la feria nacional de jardinería en el centro de Mannheim.
Justo al lado del parque se encuentra el Technomuseum, un museo especializado en exposiciones científicas interactivas para jóvenes y mayores. Aquí se puede incluso viajar en un tren a vapor del siglo XIX. Para aparcar en Mannheim, le recomendamos el aparcamiento de varias plantas N2 Stadthaus, en el centro de Mannheim.
MANNHEIM DA LA NOTA
Ya sea techno, pop o jazz, Mannheim se toma la música muy en serio. El diseño del hotel también se inspira en Mannheim como ciudad de la música. Paredes hechas con partes de altavoces, trompetas que hacen las veces de lámparas y un auténtico escenario para conciertos en la cuarta planta: el hotel le sigue el ritmo a la City of Music Mannheim. Y es que en Mannheim la cultura es variopinta y asequible.
Por la noche, siempre vale la pena visitar un bar de la zona peatonal. Para acudir a los conciertos de sus grupos favoritos, los fans reservan entradas para la Antigua estación de bomberos (Alte Feuerwache) y viajan hasta la parada homónima. Por cierto, allí también se encuentra el Hospital Universitario de Mannheim. El estadio SAP Arena ofrece a sus visitantes experiencias inolvidables. En el Centro de congresos, junto a la Torre del Agua («Wasserturm») y la Galería de arte, no solo se celebran congresos, sino también conciertos de grandes estrellas. Los hinchas que quieran ver el fútbol fuera del hotel deben dirigirse al estadio Carl-Benz.
