Very warm welcome (asked me how my journey was and it seemed authentic). Nice room with balcony to the fleed. Next morning I just wanted a coffee, no breakfast and they gave it to me for free since it was "Nikolaus". Very nice gesture!!

Easy and quick check in an cosy rooms. I wanna highlight the friendlyness of the staff! Everyone was super welcoming and this is not a usual thing anymore.

MotelOne hotels are always same. No surprise at all. Comfortable and basic rooms for your needs. Very well located. Walking distance to main areas in the city centre.
The common areas of the hotel were much larger than we expected. While our room was small, it was very quiet and had wonderful amenities. The bathroom was larger than expected (from reading another review). Breakfast was outstanding. The offerings were varied and there was something for everyone. Coffee was delicious as were the breads and fresh fruits. Overall, we were quite pleased with our choice of hotels while in Hamburg.
Room directly next to the elevator shaft: I could hear noises from the elevator all night. I only slept 3 hours. I find the night manager at the reception to be a bit unfriendly and usually not very helpful. As was the case this time. I see him there often so he must be a valued employee. I find his junior colleagues are much more friendly.

It was not possible to get breakfast for 2 days from 3-day stay because of a very long queue. I had to cancel my breakfasts, which I ordered during my room reservation.
I was very pleased with the hotel itself - location, comfort, cleanliness, friendliness of staff and would recommend it. I was staying for 3 nights and would have liked to unpack, but could not because there were no drawers in the bedroom. The main problem for me was the website : 1) difficulty in booking and 2) locating the hotel, no clear map and no instructions how to arrive are given on the website. It is normal for any organisation to give directions eg by train, U bahn or by road. I think it is one website for all of your hotels and the only difference is the name of the hotel and price. This is not helpful. I had to email the hotel to ask for directions. Even then they directed me to the nearest station, but did not describe how to get from there on foot.
Great location, stylish, good value, friendly staff, clean, quiet room, comfortable bed. Could maybe improve the breakfast here and there but it does the job. This would be my first choice visiting a German city now.

We absolutely loved the hotel. The location and the style of the hotel is fantastic. It is very quiet, but then again in the middle of the city. We had rooms facing the fleet and we so much enjoyed that. The staff, bar, lounge area and breakfast are equally great. So a absolutely enjoyable stay from beginning to end.

Great hotel. Easy access by car. Nice large parking garage. Nice room. Nice lounge and delicious breakfast buffet. Perfectly located right next to the Portuguese quarter. Right in between U-Bahn Rödingsmarkt and Baumwall. Just a short walk to the Elbe Promenade.
We spent 3 nights in this location. Online Check-in worked w/o issues and the reception was very friendly. The parking garage was easy to reach and the price was reasonable. The room had a perfect view and was super clean. The Hotel Staff was super friendly and helpful. The bar had a wonderful atmosphere and the drinks, as was the service, were excellent. Happy to return there to stay again in future trips to Hamburg.

Great experience here! Hotel is really well located to everything (walking, public transportation). Staff is very helpful, very kind and they handle a lot of people really well (at breakfast, in the bar area at night). Would absolutely stay here again! Only reason my review is not a 10 is that the rooms are pretty small, although, well equipped for their size!

During our stay, my young son unfortunately fell ill after consuming something, resulting in him vomiting on the carpet late at night. We found ourselves in a challenging situation, especially as the housekeeping team was unavailable at that hour. I want to commend the employee at the reservation desk who went above and beyond to assist us. He provided cleaning supplies and even helped me clean the room, all while offering to change our room to ease the situation. His prompt and empathetic response made a difficult night more manageable. However, I was quite surprised and disappointed to learn the next morning that we were charged 50 euros for the carpet cleaning. While I understand that accidents like this may require additional cleaning, the charge felt unexpected and somewhat unfair, especially considering the circumstances, effecting the whole experience about our stay in a negative way. I believe this situation could have been handled with more understanding and flexibility, given the distress we were already under. I would appreciate it if you could review this matter, as I feel that such charges should be communicated more clearly in advance, or, in certain cases, reconsidered entirely.

El mantenimiento del hotel es excelente, instalaciones en perfecto estado. La habitación con el sofá-cama se hace corta de espacio. Las ventanas son de buen aislamiento térmico y acústico. El lavabo tenía buenas dimensiones y el olor del jabón es increíble, me ha gustado mucho. Los colchones son muy muy muy blandos. Tengo un peso normal, estándar, y aún así me hundí en ellos. La espalda se resiente. Dormí mejor en el sofá-cama. Por suerte no escogí el desayuno, había leído malas opiniones del tiempo de espera y realmente pude comprobarlo con mis ojos, la cola para desayunar llegaba hasta los ascensores y al salir del ascensor sorpresa! Imagínate hacer esa cola con un niño... Imposible! Así que hice bien no comprar el desayuno para los tres. El personal de recepción amable pero sin más pretensiones, eran días de mucho movimiento para ellos. Cumplieron con su trabajo pero estoy convencido de que en otras fechas ofrecerían una sonrisa más amigable. El proceso de check in/out fue muy rápido, es de agradecer. Eché en falta más decoración navideña como pude ver en otros de la misma cadena en otras ciudades como Colonia. Nuestra estadía fue satisfactoria.
Todo me pareció fantásticos. El hotel estaba muy bien decorado e iluminado y hacia la estancia agradable y acogedora. El personal es super simpático. Repetiré sin dudarlo

Así es como se suelen denominar los canales navegables en las ciudades costeras del norte de Alemania, sobre todo en Hamburgo. En el centro de la ciudad, entre Herrengrabenfleet y Alsterfleet, se encuentra la isla que alberga el Motel One Hamburgo-Fleetinsel.
