I had no problems during my stay and regarding the conditions of the hotel, but thanks to a confusion and lack of communication on behalf your receptionists, my stay was charged to me twice and your customer service and the time you take to resolve the situation is terrible. 8 days later I still haven't got my money back and I don't know when I will receive it. This is unacceptable.
Lo mejor: Cadena hotelera que ya conocía y por tanto ya sabía lo que me iba a encontrar. Habitaciones no demasiado grandes, pero cómodas, funcionales y muy limpias. La nuestra además exterior y en una planta alta. Baño igual, limpieza, toallas bastante nuevas algo que se agradece siempre. Personal muy amable, nos atendió a la llegada una chica que hablaba español, muy atenta y amable en todo momento. No está en pleno centro pero en 15 minutos se llega caminando, con lo cual es cómodo y muy tranquilo para descansar, en una zona agradable. La habitación estaba disponible antes de la hora del check-in, algo que se agradece, y sin pretender cobrar extras por ello, cosa que hacen muchos hoteles ahora, En este no ocurre eso y si tienen disponibilidad cuando llegas, te la asignan. Lo que menos me gustó: La moqueta de las habitaciones, algo que en esta cadena hotelera siguen manteniendo en algunos hoteles, y que deberían cambiar. Por mucho que se limpie, que está bastante limpia, una moqueta nunca es higiénica. Falta también una pequeña nevera en las habitaciones, y ya que tienen un sillón pues al menos poner dos para que en una doble puedan sentarse las dos personas sin necesidad de que una se tenga que sentar en la cama.
It's just probably one of the best hotel chains in Europe in this category. It ticks all the boxes for a weekend city getaway, mixing comfort with design and functionality.
It awsome that you provide an organic breakfast. But the cheese selection was very small. Furthermore, the coffee was not very tasty

About the room: I missed a bottle of water and there was also no body lotion, or the other "vanity" stuff like cotton swabs, cotton pads etc. I also could not connect my Iphone with the TV. about the breakfast: the arrangement was very cramped, it was too crowded, with only just a few guests. No scrambled eggs, no bacon :( I liked the style of the lobby and the furniture though. One time I used the rest room in the basement, I wanted to see if there are sanitary products, unfortunately no luck. staff was competent, helpful and friendly.
We were very satisfied with our stay, however we had to ask for additional blanket and towels since upon arrival we noticed we only got one of each. We were kindly assisted when asked so it didn't hinder our vacation, this was but a mild inconvenience. We will be coming back when we visit Cologne in the future.

The hotel was clean, very friendly staff. I only regret that 16.90€ for a breakfast is a lot and especially when travelling on business you don't always have time to have a full breakfast. Maybe a kettle in the room to make tea or coffee would have been nice.

Overall, it was a good experience, but the rooms felt considerably smaller than those from other Motel One locations (last year I stayed there in Glasgow). I forgot an item in my room. The staff was very helpful in ensuring its return to me.
My go to hotel chain when away at conferences -- clean, comfortable, and friendly, with a decent breakfast.
The prize was extremly high. (Over 200 euro per Night). The room the smallest I have been to. (Not room for two suitcases open on floor) The brekfast the most simple I have experienced. Too expencive for this type. Not any hot food (scrambeld egg, potatoes, etc)
Everything was great. Only real issue is we wish we had some drawers, but we would 100% stay here again.

Motel One Media centre was a lovely hotel, nice rooms, nice breakfast, nice bar and quiet outside courtyard . The staff were very friendly making it an enjoyable stay. We had a room with a balcony on the 7th floor which was an additional benefit to watch the world go by. 20 min walk to the cathedral or cica 10€ in a taxi, plenty of bars and restaurants close by to try
The room was clean and modern. The staff provided us with water when checking in. The room was soundproof and had a great view. They gave us a discount on parking.
The only criticism i have is that the rooms could be a little bigger and draught beer could be sold at the bar

Would have liked darkening curtains. I registered for be One after I booked the room. I thought, I might still get a bottle of water. Unfortunately this was not the case even after asking for it.

I was surprised there were no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room, no shower cap. But otherwise excellent, very clean, comfortable bed and soundproofed room.
Everything was ok apart the breackfast that should be more complete and comfortable

The bed was comfortabel and I really liked that you didn't have a bedspread (always appears to be filthy), but only a duvet/quilt and different pillows. It would have been even better with a wooden floor instead of the present carpet. I appreciated the full size mirror in the room and the open hangers (instead of a wardrobe) as well as the magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The bathroom was nice and clean. The wifi was good and breakfast too. I would have appreciated more tables at breakfast, though as it was quite full around 7,30 am. Nice staff and I appreciated the free bottle of water received day one. It would be great to have a new bottle of water for each day of the stay. I will definitely come back.
Bed in room 305 was very hard, as far as I remember not at all the same quality as the beds on the top floor where I stayed twice in June 2023. Furthermore, when I stayed in June 2023, the eggs at breakfast were cooked to perfection (mine and my colleagues taste at least) EVERY day. They were smiling - just between soft boiled and hard boiled.We've been talking about these eggs several times after, and this was actually one of the reasons we chose to come back now... ;) We were therefore quite dissapointed to find the eggs cooked rock hard this time... :(

When I first arrived, the key card for my room did not work so I had to go back to the counter to reactivate it. The bathroom smelled a bit, like sewage. Otherwise it was fine, the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was good but you had to run around a lot with many plates because they were really tiny.
