Friendly and professional staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Good facilities
Friendly employees, Check-in really efficient, clean, got all you need for a short trip, volume of the room are ok. The only downside for me was the Wi-fi which is so bad that I had to use my iPhone as hotspot.

There was an absolutely terrible smell throughout the property and bedroom that was like sewage
I was very impressed with the hotel (which my brother had booked for me). The room was very comfortable and nicely designed. There were thick curtains allowing me to sleep in the morning and it was nice and quiet (I had a back-facing room). The breakfast (for 16 euros) was a steal - strong coffee, fruit, bread, muesli. I also liked the reception area was arranged and decorated. I would stay again for sure.

Always grateful to stay at Motel One Mortizplatz Berlin Mitte, Only frustration was a large group of loud obnoxious of 20+ tourists arriving right before I did. You all were not set up to handle that, and I waited over 20 minutes to check in.
The motel was clean and staff welcoming. However, I must not have been aware of the minimalist ideology for this motel. Our room again, was clean, well tended to during our three night stay. However the room was no larger than our river cruise room and not having a refrigerator and microwave was quite inconvenient for a stay more than a night. We ate out and were unable to bring things back and keep fresh. The cups provided in the room were paper. Odd. Not seen that since cheap hotels in my past. My expectations were most likely my reason for disappointment. Otherwise location was nice. Would I stay again? No for the reasons mentioned above. Thank you for this opportunity to give feedback.

Very nice staff! Maybe it would be smart to let them get some new colleagues? They had more than enough:) Clean room! Perfect location. Breakfast could need some improvement . (For example Scrambled eggs): The score for reception and bar/lounge reflects the leak of staff, not the quality!!!
Breakfast is lacking some hot food, scrambled eggs, bacon etc. Comfortable room, bed was good, clean. Aircondition working as it should. Friendly and helpfull staff.
Habitación pequeña y baño muy justo. Sin armario para colgar y dejar ropa. Hubo un problema eléctrico que afectó gran parte del hotel como ascensores y nuestra habitación en el tercer piso que tuvimos que bajar a pie para preguntar porque no hay teléfono en la habitación . Location was very good. The rooms were clean. The staff friendly, though there were moments with only one staff at the service and several people waiting for the check in and bar service. The only 2 problems: 1) on the last day, it happened twice that people from the cleaning service literally entered into my room while I was sleeping. Not very nice and quite frigthening I would say. 2) when I arrived, the room was smelling smoke. someone in another room was smoking and the centralized conditioning system was bringing into my room the smell (note: smoking is forbidden in the premises, so the problem were undisciplined guests)
Great price , great location for cafes and bars, great access to Berlin transport system and walking distance to all the major sights. Comfortable bed, hot shower, clean room. Asked for and was allocated a quiet room for deep sleep
There was drilling that woke me up early the first 3 days, and the staff tried to lie and say it was only for one day, when i complained on the 3rd day of drilling. They offered to move us to another room far away, but we then had to move out of our room and be without a room for at least 2 hours. And then we got the room right above, because there was no communication between the staff we complained to and the staff that gave us the new room. They said we would get a drink as an apology, but we never received those, nor any information on how to get them. And seeing how they never communicated that we were to get a room far away, but got the room right above, I could not expect to actually get whatever apology they tried
Very clean rooms and building in general. Beautifully designed interior in general. Very kind and helpful staff. Room service did their job excellently! Overall a very pleasant stay and I'll definitely come back! The only thing I would have liked to see: more vegan + sugar free options. The vegan yoghurts for example looked great but they had added sugars which I'd prefer not to eat. There are great alternatives out there which only get their sweetness from fruits for example. Maybe you can also mark everything that has no added sugars? Same as you're already marking everything that's vegan/ vegetarian. Also, the buffet was maybe a bit small. I would have loved to get omelettes/ scrambled eggs for example.

Perfect Location, friendly staff, room as expected
Had some issues with our first room as there was some odd creaking sounds at night but the staff were easily able to move us. The rooms were consistently clean and I liked the eco conscious set up.
The hotel was okay, but there was an issue with my payment: I was overcharged. The employee who overcharged me told me the difference was probably the city tax. This turned out not to be the case. It was quite difficult to set this straight and cost me a little bit more attention than I wanted.
Mix up in booking for both myself and my daughter. I was given a fully disabled room which I had not requested. Not suitable for someone who is not in a wheelchair as well as depriving someone who needs those facilities. My daughters room was not the one she booked and she wad overcharged. After much discussion at reception we managed to resolve most of the issues but this was not a good use of our time on a short break.
The room was good overall, but there was a smell of mildew or mustiness in the bathroom that never went away. I also came back from the trip with a foot fungus. (I've never had foot fungus before, so I doubt it was anything I did.)
We liked the beds, and the view out of the window was nice, trees and children playing. The room was very small but we got used to it. The TV and choice of channels was good, The main problem was the shower which my wife couldn't use because you couldn't provide a chair or stool for her to sit on. She has MS and cannot stand up for more than a couple of minutes.
Fantastic hotel! Great location, very nice rooms, great breakfast. Personnel was super friendly, personal approach, they where happy to accommodate any of our requests. We especially appreciated the 'vibe' in the lounge/bar, it felt like 'home away from home'.

Hotel was good but the wifi was acting weird on my computer as it detected that it was an insecure network. I couldnt connect my whoel stay and then a quick google search revealed a data leak in late 2023. My phone had data and my room was the ground floor but somehow I couldnt get good reception. I'd say this was very inconvenient as I couldnt use my phone or computer to connect with anyone. Otherwise, the staff was friendly, check-in and out was smooth, location is great and the room was clean.

I complained last time that the WiFI is open. In today's world, with so much internet fraud, this is not safe enough. Last time I did not use my computer at all, this time I had to use it, reluctantly, for my plane check in. PLEASE MAKE YOUR WiFi SAFER !!
I had a lovely experience, and want to especially mention Connor from the front desk for going above and beyond and being a stellar host. My stay was effortless, and I also enjoyed the offered breakfast daily.
This place was a great find. The rooms were clean,. I felt safe and didn’t hear any outside noise. It was close to the metro which was so helpful. I would stay here again!
Convenient location since the hotel is very close to a metro station. The room was the right size and very confortable bed. I appreciated a lot that I could stay in the room until 12.00 the day of departure. Vey good breakfast. Staff nice and accomodating. There are sofas in the hall and a nice open air space on the ground floor. Very good internet connection. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at Motel One mitte Berlin. The bedroom was very comfortable with an excellent shower. The lounge area was comfortable and atmospheric- perfect for an evening glass of wine. As a vegetarian I appreciated the excellent breakfast choices with lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli and lovely bread. It was the staff that made our stay such a special and enjoyable experience. They were all so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay in Motel One again.
We are three friends who have known each other for over 40 years. We decided on a weekend in Berlin and were very, very pleased with our choice of hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful ( Carl and Paul, especially )..Hotel was spotlessly clean and breakfast just what we wanted.
We really enjoyed our stay but it got so very hot in the room and although one member of staff said the air con was broken, another said it was because it has to be a certain temperature for 3 days before it kicked in. We requested a fan as my husband can't deal with it but no fans either . Shame as it was the only thing ! Oh and perhaps tea and coffee making facilities would be good .
The hotel and bedrooms were comfortable and welcoming. Excellent showers, bed very comfortable and lovely breakfast. The best thing was the wonderful staff who could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble, without exception they were professional, courteous and friendly and gave us great advice about places to eat, travel directions and local tips.

Muy bien hotel a precio razonable, la cama súper cómoda y todo estaba limpio.
Pros: Buena acogida. Eficiente personal de recepción. Excelente limpieza. Habitaciones bien insonorizadas. Contras: habitación con moqueta; solo 1 cortina (mejor doble cortina: una para tapar visión y otra para tapar luz); la recepción parecía un bar de copas lleno de botellas de alcohol; el hotel se llama Mitte aunque no está en Mitte; la entrada apesta a tabaco porque la puerta siempre está llena de fumadores (clientes y empleados): deberían poner los ceniceros en un lugar que no fuera de paso para el resto de clientes
