Everything was perfect, except the bathroom. Unfortunately, the shower drain had a terrible smell. We informed the reception, and they said they would put something in the drain to help with the odor, but it didn’t make a difference. The smell was so bad that we avoided using the bathroom entirely—only stepping in briefly to wet our toothbrushes. It really impacted an otherwise great stay.
Evething was perfecet, only when we need to check out early in the morning they have forgot to prepare us Breakfast box. We mentioned that a day before twice.
Overall everything was oké. Only the breakfast area was way too small for so many people.
Great new hotel, perfectly located at Antwerp old town / city centre, with nice staff and welcoming room design and size. Happy to have stayed here and would recommend it to others too! The parking elevator was a nice surprise (could have been called out clearer as we missed the entrance and had been looking for an underground parking entrance at first; vegan options at breakfast could be called out and labelled clearer to navigate hungry vegan food lovers in the morning)

The heating/airconditioning system was rubbish. It was so hot during the night with no way to adjust the temperature. I heard someone else complain at the reception and the receptionist just said sorry, and that the system had not switched to airconditioning because it was just 2 hot days, but that the heating was no longer on. She suggested to open the window. A bit ridiculous. And paying over a 100 euros a night in a hot room with no means to adjust the temperature is outrageous. I hope this gets fixed in the future. Furthermore, I was surprised to see no USB charging ports, which are very common nowadays. I had expected this being such a new hotel. Other than that rooms were very clean and I liked the design.

Only 2 things : -mattress a bit too soft for me - but a high quality one nevertheless -I tried to book in advance a spot for my car and was said there was no space. So I had to park it somewhere else in the city - only to hear when I checked in that there was indeed spots All the rest was excellent : friend;ly we,some, nicely designed room, welcoming bfast area and lounge/bar, excellent location;

Everything was perfect. Think because it is a quite new hotel. Rooms are a bit small but still good. The only thing is was missing is a coffee or tea corner with a water boiler.
The rooms are good, very clean, there is even a good hair dryer. All the personnel is very friendly. Our car was situated in the motel's parking garage. It is just a few minutes walk to the Grote Markt and all the shopping area's. On our departure day we could leave our car in the garage for a few more hours so we had the oppertunity to have a last walk in the centre.
We liked the hotel very much. Great location, tidyclean room. The bed was a bit too hard for us and we missed a cofee/tea facility.
I was not able to enjoy the usual full Motel One experience as I was taken ill. But what I did experience was how very well Motel One Antwerp were able to deal with a guest emergency. They cared for me, arranged medical support, contacted my family and later welcomed me back with real concern and consideration. Their professionalism could not have been bettered. As usual, the room was very comfortable and well equipped, the breakfast choice and variety was absolutely excellent. This new Motel One lived up to all my expectations, and I have been using your hotels since 2010!
Beautiful hotel, good bar / reception. Love the garden and the fact that we can park the car 24 hours. Did not like the cooling system in the room: it didn't work, and the room was too hot. Miss coffee/tea/water option in the room.

Perfect stay. Beautiful and comfortable room on the 4th floor with a windows you can open and a view over the garden. Extremely quiet. Really cheap for a stay in a new hotel in the city. Close to historical center and museums.

I really enjoyed my stay in Antwerp. My room was clean & well designed. I loved the huge windows & crisp, white bedding. The staff were friendly & accommodating. The bar downstairs had a great ambience with a good selection of gins ( some I hadn’t tried before ) . The location was excellent, many attractions I wanted to visit were only a short walking distance. There were some very nice shops & restaurants nearby.

The newly opened Motel One Antwerp was absolutely up to our expectations. The quiet room was perfectly clean and offered all comfort required including the bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.The location close to centre and public transport is absolutely perfect. Really good value for money! Returning to Motel One hotels since a few years now and no doubt the next stay will be at Motel One once again.

The first night was okay but the second night the cold was extreme the hotel Turned on automatic air(their explanation was because it was too warm outside) and the rooms were like refrigerator - and no Option to warm the room the machine was working automatically - left with ear pain from the cold - there was no Refrigerator in the room and we went to The bar to order a coffee and they said they do Just one kind of coffee no espresso or capuccino just one kind … unbelievable - great location and clean room were the pro points - but the room too small

I have pay for a big bedroom, this one was big but with so many place lost. The entrance are big not the room. The batheroom are so tiny it's so funny lol The temperature in the room was around 26 degré, impossible to sleep, the windows dont open. Was an horrible stay and experience
Very nice hotel, new set up good location and very kind staff. The rooms depend on which side of the building they are. The rooms are very clean and tidy but they are rather small . 16m2.! There are no equipments in the room, No coffee or tea making faciities and there are no fridges. The breakfast bar is laid out very nicely but there are no cooked brekafast at all.

Ya desde la entrada del hotel se nota que todo gira en torno a la moda. La recepción está decorada con alfombras tejidas a mano, diseñadas por un antiguo aprendiz de Dries van Noten, un diseñador de moda belga. En el bar del hotel, el clásico patrón de cuadros cobra vida y brilla con todo su esplendor. El diseño del hotel de Amberes ha sido pensado cuidadosamente y, como en todos nuestros hoteles, refleja un gran amor por los detalles. Pero el hotel ofrece mucho más que una decoración relacionada con el mundo de la moda: cuenta con conexión wifi gratuita, recepción 24 horas, smart TV en las habitaciones, servicio de alquiler de planchas y tabla en la recepción y plazas de aparcamiento limitadas para que los huéspedes puedan llegar en coche tranquilamente. También servimos un desayuno delicioso con especialidades locales y, como es un hotel familiar, los peques menores de 6 años desayunan gratis. La ubicación del hotel en Amberes
Y hablando del centro de la ciudad: el hotel está situado justo a las afueras del barrio de la moda, hogar de numerosos diseñadores, tiendas de moda sostenible y tiendas conceptuales. También podrá llegar a pie al MoMu, el Museo de la Moda, así como a la famosa calle Kloosterstraat, lugar de encuentro de muchos diseñadores jóvenes conocidos.
El hotel destaca por su excelente ubicación en pleno centro de la ciudad, ya que los lugares de interés turístico más famosos están a poca distancia.
Un lugar imprescindible de ver es la zona del puerto, ya que es realmente impresionante. Le recomendamos que se pase por Groenplaats, una animada plaza de Amberes cerca de la Catedral de Nuestra Señora. ¡Es el lugar perfecto para hacer buenas fotos! El barrio de los diamantes también está a unos 20 minutos a pie, a la vuelta de la esquina del impresionante edificio de la estación central. ¿Sabía que esta estación ha sido galardonada por ser una de las más bonitas del mundo? Por otro lado, si está hasta el moño de oír hablar de edificios históricos y diamantes, vaya a ver el Zoológico de Amberes o el Museo Chocolate Nation, que están justo al lado de la estación de trenes. ¡Ojo con el chocolate! Y es que este es el museo del chocolate belga más grande del mundo. Tendrá antojo de dulce en cuanto entre por la puerta.
Comer y beber en Amberes
¿Le ha entrado hambre de tanto hacer turismo? Bélgica es famosa por sus gofres, chocolates, bombones y patatas fritas. Este país incluso afirma que fueron los inventores de las patatas fritas. Otro plato muy típico son los moules-frites, o sea, unos ricos mejillones con patatas fritas. Si está de visita en Amberes, le recomendamos que pruebe las handjes o «manos de Amberes», un dulce típico que se prepara en forma de galletas, cookies o chocolate con o sin relleno de mazapán en forma de mano. Después de una tarde intensa de compras por Amberes, seguro que le apetece reponer fuerzas fuera del hotel. En ese caso, puede ir a una cafetería acogedora, un bar o restaurante: será el broche de oro perfecto para acabar un día repleto de actividades interesantes. Esta ciudad es un verdadero paraíso para los más gourmets.
