Fairytale amusement

The Danish population is considered one of the happiest in the world. And you will notice: this mood is contagious. Our walking route through Copenhagen shows you the most beautiful corners of the city in just 1.5 hours and gives you a taste of the much-vaunted Danish quality of life, in other words: feelings of happiness included!
Start at the city's most famous landmark, The Little Mermaid, before visiting the nearby fortress of Copenhagen Castle. The next stop on the route is the Copenhagen city residence of Denmark's Queen Margrethe II. It is worthwhile not only to look at the impressive Amalienborg Palace from the outside, but also to take a look at the museum inside.
If you want to follow in the royal footsteps a little more, you should definitely make a stop at Rosenborg Castle afterwards. Here you can take a wonderful break in the royal palace garden Kongens Have, before strolling on to the historic Rundetårn. The 36m-high Rundetårn tower is the oldest functioning observatory in Europe. A spiral walkway takes you to the top of the tower, from where you have a magnificent view over Copenhagen's old town. A special highlight is the floating glass floor, through which you have a direct view of the core of the tower.
With solid ground under your feet again, the walk can continue. On the way to one of Europe's first stock exchanges, the Børsen, you pass the world-famous Tivoli amusement and recreation park. The second oldest park of its kind in the world offers a colourful mix of attractions and is definitely worth a visit. The crowning glory of our walking route is the Royal Theatre, which delights thousands of spectators every year with its plays, operas, ballets and concerts. Fancy a grand performance?
