As the name suggests, our Motel One Stuttgart-Hauptbahnhof is handily located next to Stuttgart’s main railway station. And if you arrive by train, you’ll notice that there’s more to Baden-Württemberg’s capital than its interesting city centre and popular tourist sights such as the Old and New Palaces, the Porsche Museum and the Cannstatter Wasen festival grounds.

Because Schduagerd, as the locals call it, is nestled between woodland and vines in the Stuttgart Basin, and its enchanting surroundings are a source of excellent walking and even more excellent wine. It’s not far from our hotel to the first of the vineyards, as the vines extend right down to the city centre by the station.
