Friendly staff and great value for the price. The room walls were very scuffed, showing age, but everything else was clean and well appointed. I would absolutely stay here again.
Extremely welcoming structure, very kind and helpful staff
Room is „okay“
I very much enjoyed staying at Motel One Vienna and hope to return again. My only complaint is the coffee was poor and should be improved.
Especially to location, it is excellent for me.
Booking and checking in was a farce - on two occasions! I tried to call but no answer. I emailed the hotel and no response - not good enough.
Fantastic location, gorgeous entrance lobby, good value for money. The real problem is the breakfast area, which involves carrying food and drink up and down steps. There is an easy fix: get rid of the mezzan7ne (no one eats there anyway) and make the entire space level with the adjacent bar. Some architect apparently thought the current arrangement was attractive; it's not, and it's even dangerous for the elderly and impossible to manage for the handicapped. Doesn't Austrian law require accommodation for people with disabilities?!
Kind, available, clean, comfortable, easy to reach, close to the metro,
Fantastic hotel, fantastic service. Looking forward to returning for my next visit and recommending clients to stay at Motel One.
The hotel is in a great location and rooms, hall and breakfast area are perfect. It's a little tricky to get to the rooms with sometimes a lot of walking and you can get also lost on the stairs if you are not using the elevator. A parking agreement with the close parking would be appreciated to low a little bit the rate which is very expensive.
We had an excellent stay at this Motel One. The location is perfect and the employees took great care of us.
Convenient location, friendly staff, confortable bed and acceptable relation quality-price
Excellent boutique hotel, very good location and breakfast. The most interesting thing-bar works all night.
Everything was OK with the exception of super tiny room with super tiny bathroom where I could hardly fit. There was absolutely no space to put the luggage no wardrobe no place where I could put my stuff.
At your Motel One Staatsoper Vienna, all your people make each of my stays a very pleasant one! No matter whether at the Reception: Sharwan Khalaf, Emre Emengen, Florian Pail, Anna Schenter, Oliver, Marlis Kianek, Selina Mundigler or in the Bar: Gonzalo Cannizzaro, Dustin Putz and May Abdalla All, very kind and professional people!!!
Fabulous location, trendy and spotlessly clean hotel, great value for money. Helpful and polite staff. My only issue was that the first two rooms I was offered had old windows which did not lock and had handles on the outside which could be opened from outside. As a female staying alone, and with no safe in the room, I did not feel this was safe and secure. The staff found me a third room, which was fine apart from being slightly dark as on ground level overlooking the courtyard which was surrounded by several floors of rooms. However as I spend little time in the hotel room this was not really an issue.
The location is second to none Guest perfect The cleaning lady's are very detailed and good The breakfast is basic until poor The room little bit small, without telephone, without flipflop, the toilet extremely small. The door of the toilet room is exactly next to the toilet sink and is very discomfortable. In the room there is storage for the clothes. This is very inconvenient and nit comfortable. The room is also without fridge. All the rest are good.
Excellent, as usual. The room was cool on arrival and blissfully quiet. Although a little cold in the morning as it took some time to heat up. Elegant bar area and delicious breakfast.
We had a wonderful stay thanks to your employee Claudia who accomodated us as best as she could. We apreciated she took time to give us the room we needed for my back handicap. I need separated matrasse and she gave us the room where we knew from last time that there are two matrasses. Claudia is the best receptionist we met over the years in your hotels, friendly and very professional, for us a reason to come back. One suggestion: please keep some rooms with 2 matrasses, people wuth health problems will apreaciate it!
Second time in Motel One Wien Staatsoper. Friendly staff, very good breakfast, perfect room (622). Thank you for making my daughter’s 16th birthday memorable.
very good brakfast, nice ambiente, the bed was not that good
1. Room was comfortable as well as bed and everything in the room, except for the duvet: very inconvenient the single duvet for each of us (2 people) in a double bed. Also not very soft pillows. 2. Breakfast was a bit disappointing since there were a huge amount of people in a very reduced room for the breakfast buffet; also we could not find cooked breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, etc). In December we were in Motel One Copenhaguen and previously in Motel One Manchester Piccadilly, and the experience with breakfast was not only satisfactory, but excellent. I would suggest that you consider that when a customer like me tries other Motel One Hotels around Europe there are great expectations to find similar features in all of them, which is the main reason to choose your hotel chain.
Nice room and service. Unfortunately i did not get my invoice by email as asked during checkout. This happened twice in 4 stays..
Very basic rooms but adequate (unless you plan to spend all your time in your hotel room!), comfortable bed, great price, good service at the bar, and the hotel is incredibly well-positioned for visiting the inner town, with palaces, museums, the Opera house, restaurants and bars, and the Spanish riding school amongst other sites all within 5 minutes walk. Only downsides were no kettle in the room, a picture hung on any one of the walls in the room would have added a bit of character to it, and the cardboard cups in the bathroom were not replaced.
Great friendly staff!!
We enjoyed our stay. Only downside is I wish there were more storage in the rooms
Perfect location to visit Vienna. Stylish, elegant interior
Had a great visit with the family and a small dog and was very grateful to get a list of local dog parks etc. Staff very friendly and the location is just excellent.
Very good value for money exzellent hotel location
Super Hotel in top Lage.
Super Lage und tolles Ambiente
A very nice hotel with top price, the room very clean so beautiful all the areas and good breakfast. The hotel is in an incredible position near all the principal monuments. Sure i return here.
- the front desk staff during check-in were unfriendly, arrogant and impolite. - my room had very little to do with the image on your website. - the stay would have been more pleasant if there had been the possibility of paying for an extra bed.
Everything perfecto. Thank you.
Location top. Check in / reception without major issues but the room could have been available upon our arrival (12:00 o'clock). Room spartan but absolutely satisfactory. Audio insulation not OK - what was going on in corridor could be heard like it was in the room. Luckily, not a lot was going on after 23:00 o'clock. Breakfast absolutely satisfactory. The biggest minus - the lack of parking place. As a consequence, the price for parking amounted to one third of the price of bed & breakfast. In total, good value for the money / good price / performance (excluding the price of parking - with the parking included, the price / performance was on the lower limit of good / acceptable).
Fair price and excellent service but needed more than one towel in the bathroom
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the great hospitality!
The only problem during the winter is season is that is very cold in the room because there is no heating system only by air conditioning and the air conditioning did not work on warm so this is very disappointing
Uncomfortable pillows are the only thing you should improve.
Flawless Motel One experience
All’ good !
Perfect location, fabulous price. Rooms are sleek and minimalist. The lovely bed linens make it seem even a bit luxurious. The historic detail makes the common areas interesting. Always clean. A lively, well designed bar.
As mentioned in my previous feedbacks, I would like to highlight again the outstanding kindness, politeness and professionalism of your team at your Motel One Vienna Staatsoper. At the Reception, Sharwan Khalaf, Anna Schenter, Oliver, Florian Pail, Marlis Kianek, Emre Emengen are doing an excellent job! Their friendliness and customer orientation are really super. The same is true for your team in the Bar. Gonzalo Cannizzaro, Dustin Putz but also the female colleagues working there are doing a great job and it is always a pleasure to sit there and have a drink. Last year I stayed 29 times in this hotel and I always felt welcome. I will continue to be there in 2025 for my business trips to Vienna.
Very kind, efficient welcome and check-in.
Beat hotel in Vienna. This is my 6 time there.
Great value. Great facilities. Great location. Lovely staff.
Wonderful hotel with excellent service, in a fabulous location, and great price for the value. I would stay here again.
Wonderful group of people! And the hotel is perfectly located, anythign can be reached on foot!
There was confusion over my "be One" membership, which I had tried to resolve in my stay in Berlin earlier in the week. The room was small and barely sufficient even for a two night stay.
The hotel is in a very good location, close to all the attractions on foot. Although we have stayed in a hotel of this chain before, as members that we are, this time we were disappointed as they gave us a room different from the one of our choice and after our request, they changed our room the next day. The first room was so small and uncomfortable, that the bathroom door opened next to the bed and instead of a window there was a gray wall... The room we changed to, which was of our choice, was satisfactory, although it needs to have some kind of wardrobe and refrigerator. I don't know if next time I should make a reservation from a well-known booking website and not directly... The breakfast was satisfactory and the common areas very good. It would be good if the reception staff were friendlier, since when they spoke to you they didn't even look at you... we are not talking about smiling.... However, if you don't care about any of the above, your stay can be pleasant.
