Friendly staff at the desk, not so friendly in the breakfast room. The breakfast was not so great, especially the gluten-free option was a disappointment. There's only one type of gluten-free bread (which is not very good) and no gluten-free granola or any other option. I would expect more for the price of this breakfast. Apart from that, the room was good & clean.
My stay was lovely, the rooms were really clean. I was surprised that my booking price didn't include the breakfast and that there was no daily water available without purchase. This increased the cost significantly. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall, I was very pleased.

Nice hotel, the lobby was a great workplace with Wi-Fi fast enough to VPN, and a lot of floor plugs by the tables for the laptop. The standard room was large enough to keep the suitcase out of the way. The room had a comfortable bed. And the hotel is located within walking distance of several train/subway stations, zoo, and my employer's campus.

Hotel is very nice, with good spaces and overall great people. Plus: - Bar open 24H - Sympathy of most of the staff Negatives: -one night, bar tender only accepted money as payment in the bar. Despite no evidence of such rule. -one of the guests leaved his wallet on the safe deposit in the room, and the wallet was only found 17 days later. Not normal.

I had high expectations about this property because of past reviews. However, I was not entirely satisfied with my stay. At first instance, the room was fine, but when I entered to the bathroom I noticed some cleaning failures, there were hairs from previous guests stuck to the wall. The worst part was when I took a shower and not only I found a couple more hairs in the wall but the wall was also full of mould. I do not understand how this can be ignored by housekeeping since mould is high toxic for everybody. Another low point were the pillows, incredibly big and thick, this did not allow me to sleep well and feel fully rested the next morning. The service at the reception desk was good, but honestly I would not return to this property.

Great location for when you are going to the Porsche arena ir MB Stadium. Ell connected through the SBahn ,UBahn and close to the station. Quiet location and you can bring your pet
Friendly staff, quick and easy check-in, clean room with balcony, Motel One manages to make even the smallest rooms and bathrooms feel cozy and nice. Apparently one of the last few hotels with an actual bathroom door - please keep and don’t change it to glass!

The only thing which was missing for me was an electric kettle in a room (or in lobby). It was really annoying that I couldn't prepare my special tea in the evening... Small fridge in the room would be also cool but the rooms are so small that probably it is not doable.
Everything was good. The breakfast could be better, including more different types of food.

Location is perfect. Rooms was nice and clean but it would help to have some water and tea/coffee appliances. And WiFi has not been working at all.

I might recommend this hotel but the price of the very very small room was far too high. I understand you increased prices because of the football, but still.
Reception staff were mixed, helpful to initially drop off bags however kept waiting for 15 minutes when I returned as were serving at the bar
Overall good stay, 5 min walk to U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Airco was broken down unfortunately during stay (whole building), cannot believe no technician can solve it. However reception staff were nice and tried to calm down by offering free drink at bar. Would be appreciated if some discount given due to no airconditioning. Breakfast variation was rather limited for the price (no scrambled eggs). Walking distance to various eating place and supermarket.

The check-in process took way too long. I did check-in online, but the QR code was not scanned. There was only one quite slow receptionist and a queue of 6 people, it took more than 25 minutes to check-in. All the rest was fine, but the check-in process was really below standard
There was no HOT water coming in the shower, I repeatedly requested help and also asked them to change my room but no one cared. I had to go for my meeting without showering !

The room was good and the other guests and the people working there were always really friendly. Sometimes the hotel employees seemed unsure. For example, they told you you booked just a room, but you had als booked breakfast. When you told them, they acknowledged their mistake tho.
Hotel is great. Location is sketchy. People directly outside the hotel (in the side alleyway) were bothering the guests. Security personnel might be worth the investment to help make the guests feel more comfortable.
