Excellent hôtel
Motel One is always our preferred choice when being on City Trips. We got a Voucher for free water but could not benefit from it because the bar was closed in the afternoon and there was only one employees at the reception who had no key to hand out the bottles.
Excellent
Loved this Motel One, the entrance and the atmosphere we're amazing and the breakfast was perfect for me and my friend! The staff that worked there were really welcoming and friendly.
Very smiling and helpful staff. Room quiet even though next to the "perif". Only small improvement is the lighting at the breakfast area that could make thing confusing. Had small parts on my shower (felt like I had to assemble it myself), but it didn't bother me.
very good and comfortabel stay - as always in Motel One !
The MO Paris is located out of the city, but near to the Metro „Porte Doree“. So it is a very good Hotel for a city trip. The location is very quiet and a nice place to relax after sightseeing. Service, room and breakfast is well known MO-Standard.
First trip to Paris from the USA. We loved the hotel. Convenient to Metro. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Room was clean. Only downside was the room temperature. We found the thermostat very awkward to set.
Nice Stay
We payed a higher price then expected it was lower on the next and the previous week. The receptionst weren't kind to us t all, our room was not ready when we arrived. Everybody who arrived got a room except us and we were waiting for almost 2 hours. Then we went to the city we came back and wanted to leave the hotel after one night not cancel the reservation just change it to 1 night because I was not satisfied with the service. I did not get a kind word not even at the bar, I almost didnt get my suitcase because the receptionist gave us jsut one number for 2 suitcases. And then they did not let me do anything the receptionist were so dictatorial about paying the full amount and they even messed it up I just saw it later. When we arrived firstly the receptionist said our room will be ready at 4 p.m. that was outrages and I cancelled the last breakfast there and later it was in the recepit. So in conclusion I was not satisfied, at the breakfast the tables werent cleaned properly the service was awful and I literally do not understand why I had to pay this much amount in the hotel for 3 nights so please check the case out. I was in your other hotels I neved had problems like this I loved Motel One until I was in Motel One Paris. I even wrote a complaining email about the situation and I did not get an answer. I would have loved some kind of compensation or at least some manners and agreement about this I have never experienced this type of situation when I couldnt leave a hotel because I didnt like the service. And it is not cancellation it is changing the data that is 2 different things and the workers did not understand it at all.
The team was helpful, when we had trouble. the rooms were too hot and you couldn’t get cold air in. It was clean and had a nice relaxing area/lobby. Location overall was very noisy outside.
Tolles Hotel
Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with good service. Nice bar and comprehensive breakfast. Will come back!
Staff are very attentive and were consistently friendly with every interaction, the room was clean and we had a nice view, hotel was easy to find and the breakfast was fantastic. Will be booking again.
The property was clean and stylish and the staff was great,. My rating is based on not being comfortable and unable to rest well for 3 nights due to no air conditioning in October with temperatures at 70.degrees. We were told that in October the air is not available in guest rooms and to open the windows and we did with little breeze, traffic sounds and no screen. The staff could not change the situation, they were pleasant and I was offered a fan that moved air around but did not correct the situation, no guest could have been comfortable. Please let guest know of this policy on your website. I would not have selected the Motel One if I had known that there would be NO air conditioning in the rooms.
As always, great value for money ratio
I'm a fan of the Brand and have stayed in several regions, but unfortunately this “Paris” was the worst value for money. Parking was extremely expensive (€25) and breakfast was absurdly expensive too. We stayed as a couple and received a mini bottle of water (about 250ml) as a courtesy. A shame. For the first time, I was disappointed with Motel One. Best regards, P. Rodrigues
My stay was very good! Chafiou from reception was amazing! Extremely attentive and with good recommendations from around the hotel. He certainly made our stay even more pleasent. We’ll come back again for sure!
Had the absolute best stay at Motel One Paris! The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Paris!"
I have stayed in Motel One hotels many times. They are always extremely friendly, comfortable and clean with a lovely bar. The breakfast in the Paris hotel was fine but not nearly as good as the one in Copenhagen which was absolutely excellent with so much variety. The Paris price has gone up hugely over 5 years but so have other hotels. I would always book Motel One when going to Paris, as I really appreciate the service and the facilities of the hotel.
as always, as fabulous experience - thank you! The house is well maintained, the staff is amzing: very friendly and accomodating. And additional points for the lovely park right across :-)
It's good point to propose restaurant address , but the top would be to inform which are closed on monday evening .
Stayed here for a long weekend in Paris and it was Perfect! The hotel is a sort walk away from a metro station which takes you straight to the centre in around 30 minutes. However, don’t let the distance put you off as the area has plenty of restaurants, even a museum and the Zoo (whichi would highly recommended as this was our favourite part of the trip 🦒) the rooms were small but just perfect for what we needed, staff were lovely and very welcoming!!
Very nice rooms, excellent location near Peripherique and Metro 8. Perfect underground garage. Would hgave liked to have scrembled eggs & bacon for breakfast
Very nice hotel
It was very cold in the rooms
We have great time for this stay.Look forward to visit Motel One again.
A wonderful hotel, staff is very professional and attentive. Great location. Rooms are clean, and beds are comfortable. Large shower space. A great choice of breakfast.
I stay here regularly. I didn't get exactly the rooms I had requested, but managed to get a quiet room at the back. The parking reservation I made had been held for me, which was good.
Everything was fine
Comfortable and clean room.
The experience was good in general, but unfortunately, the paper cups in the bathroom have been used before. They had some lipstick stains on them which was disgusting.
Tolles Hotel, super Service
Alles top
Very Good Location and serene atmosphere. I will stay there anytime I am in Paris.
Love the cleanliness, friendliness, attention to detail, and lastly the staff.
Double charge for parking costs
Excellent motel. Friendly staff and very helpful. Rooms are quite small but it's what you expect for a Paris hotel. Only reason I dropped a point is due to the fact that there was no coffee/tea making facility in the room.
A very classy hotel with a serene atmosphere. The staff were very friendly with beautiful smiles. Soraya was exceptional, she went extra mile to make our stay a very comfortable one. Eva too was amazing. Thanks guys for making our anniversary week a beautiful one. We will definitely use this hotel again when in Paris.
The stay corresponds to the Motel One guideline > friendly staff, rooms perfect, location very good, car park large and guarded. When paying for breakfast, we were not informed that we only had 10 minutes before it was taken away >>> a note when paying would have been appropriate. The restaurant manager credited the breakfast after a complaint >>> fair and accommodating.
Thx 🙏 so much for your dedicated services and a lovely breakfast - special thx goes to your cleaning worker in level 5! CU soon
You made me pay twice!
Dear Team at Porte Doree, we have very much enjoyed our stay in Paris with you. Clean, friendly and functional rooms, super helpful service, smiles for our somewhat lacking French and generosity with small extra needs. Our son said: whenever we will come to Paris, we will stay here.
I stayed in Motel One in Paris Porte Dorée the other night. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and everything is immaculate, from the presentation of the hotel, to the selection of snacks I purchased during the afternoon on the day of my stay. The view from my bedroom was breathtaking and the vibes around the bar at night time were great. I met many interesting and smart people. 10/10 would recommend and 5 stars out of 5! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I cancelled my reservation on the day of arrival but still didn't get any reply about refund as I did online check in and paid for room. When I called customer service they said to send email and I will get response soon but still nothing.
Very nice and Helpful Staff. Everything was fine in the Hotel, the only negative point is that it´s not allowed to eat food from outside, the hotel offer is very limited.
Room was clean. AC.was great. Area around hotel was noisy but the windows.were good and our room wad quiet. Really would have liked a small fridge in the room to keep beverages or snacks cold.
Not done the German way. Check in was ok. Room was a bit smelly. I’d say not very clean. I found a tiny piece of dehydrated poo on a wall right next to the toilet pan. In 4 days, the cleaner simply made the bed and replaced towels. No hoovering or anything else was done. Breakfast was more sparse than I have seen at other Motel Ones. Plate clearing seemed to be an unknown concept here. Eggs way undercooked (raw). Dangerous. I did point it out to a member of staff. No toaster. Main areas and bar were fine. Staff friendly enough. The location was reasonable, although to get to central Paris, took 30-30 mins on the Metro. Overall, I would not recommend Motel One Paris for stays more than 1-2 nights.
We could not have asked for a more perfect hotel to stay in for our Olympic trip. We stayed as a group of 10 people over this week. Everyone said you are much more than a budget hotel! The service was second to non. The rooms were immaculate and perfect for what we needed. The social spaces were fantastic. The staff were very professional, welcoming and helpful. The area the hotel is in is fantastic and we loved being able to escape the 'Tourist track' and enjoyed being in a more 'local area' The location is fantastic for local restaurants, cafes and amenities, We enjoyed looking round the museum and had a picnic in the park. It was so easy to get into Paris centre. When I come to Paris with my daughter, we will certainly stay with you! We are new to Motel One as we now use you for our team meetings in Newcastle, but we look forward to staying in your other hotels in the UK and in Europe. The only thing I would like is a reward scheme for staying with you! Since creating the corporate account we have booked more than 25 rooms in Newcastle (and many more to come this year), our Paris stay, 24 rooms in Dublin in November and 1 stay in Manchester! As the organiser of all of these stays, it would be amazing to be credited for my work in getting our team to stay with you! Many thanks need to go to Margaux Collin <margaux.collin@motel-one.com> who made our Paris trip so amazing, and Cheyenne George <cheyenne.george@motel-one.com> who helped me create my account and has been so very helpful with every booking I have made so far. If these 2 ladies could be thanked from you as a company, I would be very much grateful. Thank you again
The Olympic premium pricing was exaggerated.

Where nature meets urban flair
Bienvenue à Paris! Where the French capital's urban flair intersects with the beloved city park Bois de Vincennes, our design hotel offers the ideal starting point for urban explorers, nature enthusiasts, globetrotters and business travellers alike. The lobby’s design is inspired by the surroundings, greeting you with a vibrant lighting concept comprising Ingo Maurer Butterfly and Flatterby lights and suspended dragonfly chandeliers by Damien Langlois-Meurinne.
The animal theme continues in the design hotel’s reception area. A collage-filled 3D installation by Paris-based street artist Madame Moustache featuring two large elephants sets the scene, complementing the authentic shabby-chic Parisian reception desk. Suspended porcelain lamps by Tobias Grau round off the aesthetic, making the reception area a true delight for design connoisseurs.
These impressions are seamlessly reflected in our rooms, as well: directly above the faux-leather headboard, Madame Moustache creates a romantic, dreamy motif that incorporates the coolness of Parisian street art, establishing a holistic connection between city and nature.
And when you sink into our comfortable box-spring beds, you too will think, ‘La vie est belle!’
After a relaxing night, you can look forward to an extensive breakfast buffet and other nature-inspired/urban designs. The authentic design concept also includes cosy Freifrau and Baxter chairs, arty tables by Draenert and a faceted, mirrored wall.
Visit the bar of our affordable design hotel to feel like you’re in an old French salon. Abstract Forestier chandeliers, a leather-upholstered counter front with classic diamond stitching and extensive wall panelling made of mirror pieces capture the characteristic atmosphere of a French salon.
By the way: thanks to its excellent location in the 12th arrondissement, our design hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring the city. From Gare de Lyon or the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower, all of the most important sights are within easy reach.
A different side of Paris: explore the Bois de Vincennes!
The city park next to our Motel One is three times as large as New York’s Central Park and is a popular getaway spot for Parisians looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Here’s what you shouldn’t miss:
