Railway romance at the Motel One Nuremberg-City
Motel One Nuremberg-City takes you on a journey through railway history.
The town is best known these days for the Kaiserburg and Christkindlesmarkt, but also boasts Germany’s first-ever railway line. Our Design Hotel takes you back to the Golden Age of Rail. Enjoy an organic breakfast surrounded by atmospheric images and the luggage of times gone by. The bar, your main depot for an afternoon coffee or evening cocktail, is illuminated by a light installation in the form of crossing tracks.
Comfy settees and armchairs, including design classics by Arne Jacobsen and Achille Castiglioni, offer first-class relaxation. There’s just as much to discover outside the hotel, situated as it is right at Nuremberg’s central station. The Old Town with its host of shops is just a short stroll away, as are the Hauptmarkt and the Kaiserburg. For trade fair visitors and anyone making a stopover, the hotel is handy for the airport, which can be reached via a short transfer. Welcome to the Motel One Nuremberg-City – welcome on board!
