Room was clean and spacious - also not too hot and stuffy as most are - so that was great!
Nice clean surprise lying large room and adapted for disabled person which was fantastic because I never mentioned my unseen disability. Staff very friendly and loved my little dog and he loved them back and the room. Nice location I even found,a suitable grassed area for my dog to do his business. It was my 2nd stay at this hotel in a month and I'll be going back without hesitation. Good TV with HDMI ports for Amazon Firestick but I forgot mine. My only dislike was no water supplied in room No toiletries so take your own also t-bags But yes I'd strongly recommend this hotel
Room was great for a single traveler; It would’ve been a little cramp for two. Bed was perfect. Only complaint was that I could hear my neighbor - walls need better sound proofing. But great stay overall.
Great location. Value for money. Very clean. Concierge is very efficient.
Hotel is fine, I’ve stayed many times. The staff were rude this time though. Disappointing as historically they’ve been really welcoming. I called before coming, got a price over the phone. Team insisted I purchased online for more money when I got there, refused to accept our company account. Bizarre. One of the towels this time was used too. It was really smelly. Difficult because it looked unused so it was probably just a silly mistake but annoying after the rudeness too.
Wonderful stay in the centre of Manchester. Quiet and comfortable.
Excellent city centre location, stylish foyer and bar area and a comfy bed but the room was too small for 2 people. I realise hotels will try and maximise their use of space but I Motel One have gone too far at this site. There was also a regular deep wailing sound which was probably wind moving through the hotel or between nearby buildings but whatever the cause it was intrusive and annoying. I will use Motel One again but not this site.
Excellent staff, best bed I’ve slept in.
Friendly reception staff.
Lovely and clean! Room was a great size and quiet too. Everything was perfect. Great shower. Would definitely stay again.
Service first class as always. Just a minor issue the rail under sink in bathroom is starting to rust and towels aren't quite as white and fluffy as on previous visits.
Gorgeous hotel very clean
Great location, lovely and cosy, very friendly staff.
Loved the room, the view, the vibe when having breakfast and the friendliness of staff.
Very clean and nice and warm. I love the location. I have stayed here a few times, will be back again.
I can highly recommend Motel One. Lovely comfy bed, quiet room on the 6th floor (Room 666).
Great location, friendly staff, clean modern room and tasty breakfast
Great, centrally located hotel with friendly, helpful staff.
Room was spotless nice decor and the staff were really friendly especially Marie on reception Only criticism is the breakfast it seems overpriced for a continental
Good value for money, in an excellent location, particularly for Bridgewater Hall & theatres. I had problems adjusting the heating but maintenance came & sorted it out very promptly. Perhaps a clearer instruction guide would help.
Great hotel, clean, great guest areas -
Need USB outlets.
Quiet, clean, comfy bed and central. Everything you want in a hotel for less than most.
Excellent stay
Good room friendly staff good price & location.
Fabulous hotel. Delightful, cheerful & helpful staff. Perfect location. Spotlessly clean. Couldn’t fault it. Many thanks.
Such a comfortable bed! Great service.
Excellent hotel and staff.
Small rooms but comfy beds, modern and clean and very helpful staff
Room was very small and felt expensive but was booked on the same day. Room 217 was noisy too, I was awoken numerous times in the night due to the thin doors / walls.
Reception staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. They kindly upgraded our room as it was my husbands birthday 👍. Lovely clean rooms, ours had floor to ceiling glass. Bar area was so nice and very cosy. Will definitely stay again 👍
Window had been left open so room was very cold upon arrival. Shower, even when turned up to hottest setting was only lukewarm.
Comfortable stay. Fabulous location
Hotel in an ideal location in the centre of Manchester. The hotel staff on reception was friendly and welcoming. Although we didn’t use the bar in the hotel,we were told that it was open until 2am which would be great for future visits and the bar area looked really nice. The room was comfortable and clean and perfect for the night. Slept really well.
Really enjoyed my stay and was looking forward to returning as this was a 2nd visit. The hotel is clean and comfortable, well located and good value. The rooms are not large but well equipped and nice decor. The staff are friendly and I would certainly consider Motel One in future, here and in other destinations.
Having stayed multiple times at the other branches of motel one in the city, my expectations of this stay were high. The location is fantastic, interiors lovely as per usual for this chain of hotel, rooms were smaller than other locations but none the less clean and very comfy beds! My only issue would be that upon checking out we stored our luggage behind reception so we could explore the city before travelling home. When we arrived back at the hotel to grab our luggage the staff member on reception just let us wander into the luggage hold room to collect our bags to which there was also another visitor in there collecting his bag. I thought the whole point of the staff labelling your bag and giving you a numbered ticket was to ensure your bags were securely stored and that the general public couldn’t get access to your bag. Luckily our bags were fine but this raises the question of how secure your luggage is when storing. Overall a lovely stay, but I will be more aware in future about leaving my bags in the luggage hold.
Great hotel. , was a perfect location for our works conference. Maria on reception was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble !
Great location, good breakfast, really comfy beds. All good
Excellent hotel.
Excellent hotel, perfect location and great customer service. However, my one complaint is the paper cups in the room for tea/coffee. Whilst I appreciate that they are recyclable, I don’t want a paper cup whilst I’m in a hotel, I want a proper mug please!!!
Reception and bar staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly
Clean, comfortable hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent. Only criticism is that the duvet was too thin. It would have been good to have an extra blanket as I was quite cold.
Reception staff very welcoming and friendly, check in was nice and easy. Room & bathroom were to a high standard, comfortable bed and decent facilities. Would prefer a cooked breakfast option and bottles of water in the room instead of a voucher for water in the bar.
Small rooms but good. Staff very nice too. Great location. Will highly recommend it
Really nice balance between budget and boutique. Nice touches everywhere. Location great and room really cosy and comfortable. Bar/breakfast area really quirky and different. Will definitely stay again when I’m in the area
The room was comfortable, perfectly clean and had a great view. The staff were friendly and helpful.
There was no hairdryer on the room
Nice room quiet even though it’s in central Manchester
Great location, lovely staff and super clean.
