Lovely hotel. Staff was nice. Rooms were lovely and spacious
Woken at 7am by sound of industrial bins being emptied outside and traffic noise. Noise was constant from then onwards
I think we can keep two bins separate 1 In bathroom and one in The room itself and also keep 1 tissue box near to the dine table as well...my personal opinion 🙂after all good service🥰
An enjoyable stay. Great sleep and lovely staff.
This was our first time staying at a Motel One & we were not disappointed. The room had every thing that we needed : a king sized, comfy bed, plenty of storage & hanging space, a shower screen ( not a curtain like other similar branded hotels) & a good hairdryer. But the best bit was the welcoming lounge/ bar area. A great place to relax after seeing a show. Just disappointed with the paper cups in the rooms but this was a minor detail.
Excellent staff, very welcoming and helpful. Room small but spotless. Breakfast lovely. Good location.
Very pleasant stay and friendly staff
Excellent place to stay in the heart of Manchester. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The lounge is so spacious with well positioned furniture and facilities. Breakfast was very good.
If there was a mini fridge in the rooms, it would be 10
Great location, staff excellent, rooms a tad on small side.
Nice easy check in, lovely large room and night staff were helpful
Excellent value , rooms a little small , however given price understand. Clean near Centre
Great hotel, really liked it. Room was clean had everything we needed, bed was comfy. Situated in perfect place too.
Booked direct with Pablo, service was excellent, the ladies on reception were so nice and helpful, nothing was to much trouble, for Feh'a'tas and Chloe, the restaurant staff were super as were the bar staff - I have already recommended this hotel to family and friends ! Its a great hotel in a great location, but the staff make it special !
Overall a lovely stay. Good location, nice comfy quiet room with all the amenities needed for a short stay. Slept well, comfy clean rooms and beds. Staff in all areas friendly and helpful through out our stay. Would recommend.
Great location & lovely facilities all for a very reasonable price. As a lone female travelller I felt welcomed and safe from the moment I checked-in, and slept like a log.
The reception are so lovely and very friendly:) The hotel are so beautiful and plenty of chairs to relax The breakfast are so beautiful
Excellent service and facilities. Superb location
Always best staying at MotelOne.
Location perfect, staff so welcoming Great Value, rooms have everything needed and a bit more...
Great location, good bed, helpful staff. Love that you updated the room design from older Piccadilly branch. And appreciated a window that opens (with no blue brand light outside)! Clean, stylish hallways. Could rid of the in-room trays - takes up space & unnecessary - and please make more normal table seating for breakfast.
Great hotel and staff
Easy check in, Spotless room, excellent value in central manchester
Easy check in process, lovely clean and comfortable, well-appointed room, good openable window for fresh air and fabulous hot shower. Had two great nights at a great price so what's not to love!
Very comfortable, well designed room. The bathroom wasn't quite clean, and it is a shame that only paper cups are provided with the tea/coffee making facilities. Otherwise, I would have scored the room a 10.
Wonderful hotel in the center of Manchester. Small but cosy and clean rooms, great bed and towels! Great value for money!
excellent as always
Wonderful hotel in the centre of Manchester. The staff were friendly and efficient, the room clean, quiet and comfortable. Very convenient to the concert I was attending and lots of cafes and restaurants all around. Highly recommended.
Friendly staff, room clean and had everything I needed, central location ideal
Another evenings concert in Manchester, and the only place to stay is Motel One, St Peters Square,, Our second visit, and loved everything about it,, Warm, comfy room& shower room, great breakfast, we enjoyed a late night drink in lounge, the barman can sure make a mean Old Fashioned Thanks to all concerned,, See ya again soon,,
I would like to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at Motel One Manchester - St. Peter’s Square on 28th Feb. Having stayed at your hotel twice before with positive experiences, I was extremely dissatisfied with the service and conditions during my most recent visit. Upon arrival on Friday night, I was greeted by an empty reception desk. I waited for 15 minutes, assuming someone would assist me shortly. When no staff appeared, I knocked on the reception desk, thinking perhaps an employee might be in the back office. Peering into the open office door, I was alarmed to see an unattended space filled with computers, paperwork, telephones, valuables and radios; all easily accessible to any passerby. The security risk posed by this situation was extremely concerning, as anyone from the street could have walked in, taken valuable items, and left unnoticed. After failing to locate any staff at reception, I walked to the bar area, where I eventually found an employee. I was told that they were “very busy” and would assist me shortly. I was finally checked in and given a room on the ground floor (interior side of the building), which had no external view. Upon entering my room, I discovered that neither of my mobile phones had service, preventing me from contacting my family to confirm my safe arrival. I returned to the reception desk for assistance, but once again, no staff were present. I attempted to call the hotel from my mobile, but nobody answered. Frustrated, I walked back to the busy bar area and requested help from another employee. After explaining my issue, I was reassigned to a second-floor room facing outward, where my phone service was restored. At approximately 2 AM, I was woken by loud banging and shouting from other guests returning to their rooms. The noise persisted throughout the night, with guests yelling from their balcony windows to people outside, making it impossible for me to sleep. At 9 AM, I attempted to contact the hotel reception to request a late checkout due to my sleepless night, but once again, I received no response. This experience was completely unacceptable. From the lack of security at reception to the nonexistent customer service, as well as the extreme noise disturbances, my stay at Motel One was one of the worst I have experienced at any hotel. As a returning customer, I expected the same level of service I had received during my previous visits, yet this stay fell far below those standards. I would appreciate a formal response to this complaint, outlining what actions Motel One will take to address these issues and ensure they do not happen to other guests before I take this to my socials and make uploads to my youtube channel followers. Furthermore, given the inconvenience, lack of security, and disrupted sleep, I would expect an appropriate form of compensation for this very distressing stay. I look forward to your prompt reply. Great 1 night stay. Room was clean, bed & pillows were super comfy & we slept really well. The room temp was perfect too. No noise from the hotel or outside. Bar had a good vibe & drinks were reasonably priced. Loved it...would 100% recommend
Better than I expected. Staff excellent. Room a little small but for 3 star it was just fine. Very comfortable. Bar and breakfast just right.
Great location, friendly staff on reception and bar, I really like the contemporary style of these hotels. No proper hot water for shower on first morning so that wasn’t great due to “too many people using the showers” according to staff. Felt breakfast was pricey so cheaper options elsewhere. Overall though, clean, tidy and would stay again.
Overall the stay was excellent, however slightly let down by the tv only showing non English channels which is disappointing when staying in the UK
Location and hotel where perfect, staff where excellent would definitely stay again
Great location, comfortable beds, hearty breakfast. Just what a city break needs.
Excellent value, location and staff! Highly recommended!
First visit. Friendly reception staff . As an elderly person I found the corridors a bit confusing. I found the lighting in the room poor. Would have liked instructions for the tv
Had to turn up the shower a long way, past 40C to get warm water Breakfast ok, though hard to find things if dairy free. Would be good to have a separate hot water dispenser for tea and porridge, to avoid congestion around coffee machine
Great hotel. Nice & central to the city. Lovely lobby/bar area. The rooms are very tastefully decorated. Nice and quiet in the room I was in also
Brilliant as always! Friendly, helpful staff in reception, bar and housekeeping. Room spotlessly clean. Convenient location - all excellent.
Value for money
The location was perfect. Room soundproof and bed very comfortable. The breakfast with large variety of food. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
Great hotel, Room and bed very comfortable. Cosy bar . Staff friendly and helpful Would stay again.
Great staff fabulous accommodation and facilities
the location is great, the staff is friendly, the rooms are quiet and clean.
My partner and I travel a lot and I have stayed in Motel One in Vienna so to be honest I was a bit disappointed with the room size. Maybe I have just been really lucky in the past! Our room was fine but small and also seemed quite basic in terms of drinks - ie: tea and coffee only - there was no herbal or green tea bags offered which is really standard (even cheap seaside b&b's offer this! - happily because that's what I drink - so for £150 a night not what I'd expect. We both thought the breakfasts were pretty lame. I can't eat gluten and the only gluten free thing you offer is a really horrible looking ultra processed and packaged chocolate cake. Why aren't you catering for customers who have food allergies? It seemed to me that your breakfast was one that would have been considered great in about 2010 but times have moved on. Another example - your only dairy free milk available was oat, yet every coffee shop in UK has a selection of almond, oat, coconut, soy - why couldn't you be bothered to stock these? You did have a dairy free yogurt but I think it was soya which I'm also allergic to - no information was provided about the contents. Lots of prepackaged porridge pots (I thought you were trying to be sustainable?) but none were gluten free. So £15 for some hummus, slice of cucumber and tomato and an apple was a very expensive and not good breakfast. I wouldn't recommend.
Room comfortable. Bathroom very good but room rather cramped - less than a metre to get round bed with TV on wall. Tricky at night to get roind without hitting bed or TV. Expect better for price £180
Amazing for all
