Our ‘go to’ hotel every time we stay over in Manchester. Staff are very friendly, hotel is always clean and the bar/lounge area is great for relaxing after a busy day. Our only issue on this trip was our room keys were deactivated before our agreed 3pm checkout on Sunday. This was dealt with quickly.
Great location, rooms clean and comfortable, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Good Breakfast.
Lovely room and the staff went over and above to communicate and help with anything I needed. The bed was so comfy. Perfect location. Will come back.
Comfortable hotel with all the necessary amenities.
I have stayed at your St Peters Square location for some time now. Your hotel is clean, central, modern and cool. All your staff are great...especially a young lady called Chloe who I think is professional, friendly, courteous and to me more importantly a great sense of humour ( Chloe that's a fiver you owe me 😉) but seriously they are all 👍...
Great location especially for an event at Central , but also for city centre. Everything is within walking distance or tram and buses within minutes. Hotel clean, modern. Good for a budget hotel. Breakfast is a Limited and not worth the extra cost.
Excellent hotel, great location, staff very approachable, professional and friendly. Have stayed here a few times now and each time it impresses me more. All staff are a credit to the hotel and deliver customer excellence.
The hotel was very comfortable bar welcoming all the staff were friendly and helpfull location fab great for Palace Thearter and plenty of eating venues in easy reach what love to stay again !
Lovely hotel. Much better than the Motel One at Piccadilly. Unfortunately it was just a short stay due to a flight cancellation.
All expectations were exceeded!
I have stayed at your hotel for over two weeks (Christmas/New Year period...) and in the past. Your hotel is central clean comfortable well priced and your staff pleasant and professional...big thumbs up from myself...👍
The room was clean, the price of the room very good. I found the bed on the hard side and slept quite fitfully. Also the room was quite dark with only a small window to a central courtyard.
Fantastic value in a fantastic location
This was perfect. The rooms were spacious and very clean, had a kettle and also the tv channels were great. I would stay here again and recommend to friends aswell.
Welcoming reception staff. Spotlessly clean room. Comfortable bed. Good powerful shower. Good amenities ie.. kettle, hairdryer, shower gel.
Friendly helpful staff at reception. Room very clean with comfortable bed
Excellent stay, staff really friendly. Rooms clean and big enough for a short stay. Location was excellent for city centre shopping and trams.
excellent location staff on reception very helpful clean room fantastic breakfast
Excellent location in the heart of Manchester, tram right in front of the hotel, very friendly staff, rooms designed with gusto. I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness and the bedbugs issue which plagues hotels, but Motel One is impeccable and the beds very comfy. Once again Motel One proved to be one of the best choices that won't disappoint any kind of traveller.
Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, for a cheaper hotel I was shocked! Staff great, location, check in and out. Overall very happy. The pillows! Honestly best sleep
We stayed overnight as we were going to a show in Manchester. We arrived at lunchtime, to ask if we could leave our luggage until the allocated check in time. The young lady on the desk said we could actually have our room as it was ready, which was great. Although the room was on the small side it was clean, the bathroom met all our needs and we were only booked in for 1 nights stay. All staff were friendly and helpful and we would stay at Motel One again. Thank You
Room very good, reception staff good but we were locked out of our rooms the following morning even though check out was 12.00 noon.
Always great
Perfect location, beautiful hotel, lovely staff. Highly recommend.
Central location...clean...modern...great staff...ALL...all good 👍
Very clean, welcoming place to stay over the Christmas period. Reception staff were super helpful when my phone charger broke too!
The hotel is in a perfect location in the heart of the City centre, the rooms are a little on the small side, but ideal for a one or two night stay. Staff very helpful and overall it was great value for money.
Loud noice from air conditioning all night
Excelent hotel
I had a very enjoyable stay. The room was gorgeous - fresh and clean with a lovely light colour scheme - and on the highest (8th) floor away from the lifts to ensure maximum peace. I had requested this and was not disappointed. I was there for three days over Xmas, which made my stay extra peaceful, since only a small proportion of the rooms were occupied. I enjoyed chatting to the friendly staff and nestling in a comfy chair in the lounge bar to eat breakfast, drink coffee or read. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, yet not noisy at all. But I did have a room at the back, which meant I wasn't subjected to the constant noise of tooting trams that rooms at the front might have to deal with. All in all, I felt comfortable and at home in this lovely hotel.
The room was very clean and the staff very helpful and pleasant, thank you to Mrs. Chloe at the reception who helped us with where to go in Manchester 🙂
Lovely little stop over immaculately clean great check in helpful staff nice bar area for the evening when we got back . Only helpful thing would have been more information on nearby parking as it cost us £35 but would definitely stay again
Perfect in every way
Hotel was very nice and clean, friendly staff and central location
Super hotel, wonderful location, friendly staff. I've stayed here several times, it's consistently great!
Lovely hotel, good location. Would stay here again
Really friendly helpful staff throughout from welcome at reception to the breakfast bar. Room was clean and bed was very compfortable. Would have liked a proper cup for tea and coffee, not a disposable but other than that gréât.
Staff were excellent at check in helping me sort some booking errors.
The room was clean and spacious, but it was very noisy - it sounded like there were mice in the ceiling above. They were scurrying around for a long time overnight which woke me up and kept me awake for a while.
Clean comfortable and quiet
I was booked into this hotel by my company and what a gem this was better than the usual Premier inns, thank you for a great stay.
Staff was very friendly. The room was clean and felt good maintained. Congratulation to the cleaning team. The bed was Amazing! A good firmness, nice and soft topper and sheets.
Room was clean and the location was excellent. Only let down is that the tele states smart tv but it was just a standard one with free view etc. We were expecting Netflix/prime
Was fairly easy to find with Google maps, good sized room and comfy bed
Would love a coffee machine in the room!
Great hotel, very clean, lovely decor, friendly staff, very helpful. But, no proper breakfast (only continental), and when we were eating breakfast its very dark / little light, at that time its a restaurant environment essentially and not a bar environment, it should be well lit. Also, no room service / food. The rooms were very small (but no issues, i do understand it was a city centre hotel).
Excellent hotel, super comfy bed and very clean, room was abit small, but overall would definitely return
We chose the hotel when we visited the Christmas markets at Manchester. The location was fabulous with the tram stop right outside. The rooms were cosy and clean with extremely comfortable beds. But I have to say that what really made our stay was the staff. Reception ladies were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with the tv remote in the room and after reporting it to reception the maintenance gentleman came within 5 minutes to fix the problem. He was also friendly and efficient. It was refreshing to receive such outstanding customer service that you rarely see these days. Well done Motel One! Very highly recommend.
Clean, great location
Good location, let me check-in early! Thank you!

And our hotel not only has great transport connections: its central location makes it perfect for anyone who prefers serendipity to schedules, and simply wants to wander about and see what they find. You can set off from our design hotel and soon find yourself in Chinatown or the lively Gay Village.
