Friendly staff, easy check-in, comfortable room, great location for Manchester Piccadilly Station
Really lovely hotel, friendly staff and clean room, our train was cancelled last minute so we had to drive staff were helpful with parking
Great hotel👍🏻 great price 👍🏻
The room and facilities were great, but the lack of TV English channels was a big minus
Most of the staff are friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast, fresh juice and hot drinks are included. They provide kettle set in room, I stayed this hotel in other country before but they did not have it. I really enjoyed my stay here and will recommend this hotel to my friends :)
I love this hotel!!! The location is great, just next to the train station. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is perfect as well. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.
Superb location, parking 1 min walk, piccadily station or the centre. Clean and efficient.
A buffet breakfast with hot items would be better than a continental breakfast
helpful staff although some at reception were inexperienced.
Staff need customer service training Parts of the hotel smelt of drugs when reported needed to be more than I will move you room. Hot rooms However comfy bed First time staying at this brand
Comfy bed. Good view. Great bar lounge. Issue with the bathroom soon sorted when it was brought to Reception's attention.
Bed was very comfortable was told bar was open till 2 when we arrived back about 12.39 was told bar was closed so could not have a night cap
Great location, lovely atmosphere and decor - bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spotless I’ll definitely be back.
Friendly staff! Will come back again
Lovely stay, room was clean and comfortable. As I checked in online and arrived late, I was unable to get into the hotel which was not ideal but a member of staff came to let me in very shortly.
Great price Super location Lovely bar and seating area Comfy bed with a great shower A comprehensive healthy breakfast choices.
I always stay at Motel one on my stays in Manchester because of the fantastic location!!!
in a great location, friendly staff, lovely Bar area, we was on the 6th floor, nice room, comfortable bed and plenty of room, air conditioning and heating good, no complaints will be returning again.. Regards
Everything was good. The breakfast was perfect!
Good
As stated on previous visits this is a quality hotel . Staff are attentive and pleasant. Will definitely stay again. If you could lease with some of the local restaurants for a special deal it would be helpful.
So so good from the friendly checking in to the later checkout..do not have one negative.
Lovely in every way
The staff were extremely friendly, the room was spotlessly clean, the room was lovely and toasty warm on arrival. Couldn’t fault the stay at all. The bathroom was clean and the shower had great pressure. Would absolutely stay again
Friendly checkin good selection of whiskey in the bar and nice comfortable and clean room. Only mark down would be the loose tile in the bath room
Excellent staff in reception. Bar staff poor. Room small but comfortable.
Modern, clean welcoming hotel - so much so we have booked next year already
I wasn't too sure when booking as never been there before and I no some chain hotels can be abit rubbish. However from the moment you walk in the hotel is well decorated, staff are so friendly and helpful. Room are small but clean, love the hidden tea and coffee!!! It was so nice you can't hear other guests.....not like some named places. Will definitely book again
Honestly, for what I paid it was absolutely perfect! Clean, modern, welcoming, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. So close to transport and the city centre. We were delighted!
Its just great x
Very convenient for Piccadilly train station, usually get early check in No views in half the rooms but comfortable Rates are random and change almost daily which is a pain cancelling and re-booking as prices can be vastly different
Very convenient location. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Room was very clean. Bed - amazing! Had a great night's sleep. Very pleased with Motel One and would stay again. Only 2 comments - it would have been nice to have bottled water in the room and we didn't have a bin for rubbish.
Excellent value for money. My one request: can we have plugs (in the washbasins) that work, please? Really useful for people who shave
Nice and clean with a great bar and reception area with seating. Room was basic but clean. Could do with a bit more hanging room for clothes and a bit stingy on the amount of coffee and milk if I'm honest. Apart from that can't fault it.
We chose the hotel due to its location and it was spot on for our needs, 30 minutes walking distance from COOP Live. Our room wasn’t overlooking offices, as some were, and was compact but the facilities ok. Could have done with a small ledge next to the bed for phone and book. Shower and bathroom was good with soap provided. Needed a/c on at night as it got rather warm and stuffy. The windows do open as an alternative. Overall clean and suited our needs. The seating in the bar wasn’t the most comfortable. No shortage of good quality continental style food at breakfast.
Very expensive Saturday night. Didn't fix shower after asking Comfy bed Nice bar Great location
We were looking for a value priced hotel for after the Paul Heaton concert. Motel One is a really good hotel next to Picadilly Station and convenient for the tram for Coop live. Loved the bar area which stayed open until 2am (not that we stayed up that late) which was really convenient for after the concert. The only slight negative was the weak water pressure in the shower which was disappointing.
The rooms are not cleaned daily, just the beds are made and towels folded. The surfaces were not wiped in a week as I had spilt coffee beans which were there al week and the bathroom sink surface wasn't cleaned at all. I borrowed mugs from the hotel and these were left dirty in my room too.
Motel One Manchester Piccadilly is a perfect place for a city stopover. We went to a gig at the Coop Live and it was well placed for tram access and the walk back. Used this hotel before and already booked to stay again. Thanks for a great stay!
Nice hotel but the rooms location near the lift made it nosy at times Do note your communication in mail should be in english or dutch not french
There was a strong smell in the bathroom and each time the toilet flushed the shower gurgled! are the pipes connected? Spotlight above long mirror in the room constantly flickered - I did report this on check out Actual cups in the room is preferable to cardboard ones No iron in the room you have to request one why is this? For stays more than 2 nights I would not recommend this hotel but for very short stays I would stay again
Always consistent and reliable.
great as usual no complaints all round good stuff
Great location, friendly and helpful staff
Clean and efficient
We received excellent service, including early access to our room which was a bonus. The hotel was located in a great spot, right next to Piccadilly Station which was really convenient. The mezzanine level was very welcoming with a well stocked bar and plentiful seating. The downside is we thought the room we had wasn't the best as it was very cramped and the decor was very plain and depressing. It was also quite loud as the windows weren't very well soundproofed from cars illegally beeping their horns throughout the night. Accounting for this we didn't think our stay was particularly good value for money as we paid £160 per night without breakfast despite booking 6 months in advance.
Great hotel. Clean, friendly, professional and perfect location . Quite expensive for two nights but it was a football and McCartney weekend!
Cleanliness, friendliness and efficiency of staff, were all good. For the price paid and although very clean, the room size and basic facilities were a disappointment
Hassle free check in/out, lovely clean rooms and a great location. Would stay again!
Excellent hotel location, very comfortable facilities and surroundings, Very helpful staff and good quality and selection of breakfast foods. Room aircon temperature settings were not working, resulting in hot first night, and bathroom mirror was loose. Both issues were reported to reception.
