Well placed for all transport links, the chic mix of decorative rock & modernism with added warmth welcomes the traveller. Rooms are clean & does the job for a couple of days in the city. The continental breakfast was excellent, but could have benefited from a hot plate of bacon & scrambled eggs. Over all really happy with the hotel & the friendly stafff.

Compared to other Motel One locations, this property just doesn't feel very cozy. The room was very basic and lacked a safe. The bar / breakfast area lacks plants and decorations.
Enjoyed a 2 night stay staff were extremely polite from the reception staff to the bar staff always had a smile and were more than helpful when questions were asked . Good city centre. Location only 5 mins walk to Piccadilly train station and 10 minutes walk to the city centre. Our room was quite small but adequate.

Great stay overall, easy check-in ans was able to check-in earlier than the 3pm stated. Very friendly staff, only minor complaint is being able to hear other guests returning to their rooms in the early hours but apart from that everything was great.

Room was nice, lobby as well and good atmosphere. I was missing healthy yoghurt/Cereal/ oatmeal options at breakfast. And if you would save our companies adress in the system it would also save a lot of time druing invoice creation.

We arrived at the wrong hotel but the pleasant, professional and extremely helpful receptionist sorted out our problem. Very impressed . Only get one chance to make a first impression and it was great 😇
The automatic doors didn’t fully open when I arrived so I hurt myself trying to enter as I was expecting them to fully open. This is obviously immediately off putting when you are staying somewhere for the first time. I didn’t sleep very well as I don’t think the room was very sound proof. The tea and coffee selection in the room were excellent and the bathroom was lovely. Great location with parking next door.
I really like staying at Motel One but on this occasion the room felt rather ‘tired’ and in need of a revamp

This was my first stay in a Motel One, on this basis I would certainly stay, this location is perfect if you are travelling by train to Manchester. Next time I would probably upgrade to one of the bigger rooms. The continental breakfast was far better than most, it's actually closer to what you would find in Germany, decent Rye bread, cooked meats and cheese. I did not get time to use the public spaces and Bar, but they looked a cut above your average budget hotel.
As always, fantastic value for money at Motel One at Manchester Piccadilly for our quarterly Team Awayday. Efficient check-in, clean and comfortable bedrooms and great public areas.

Great location, friendly staff and nice bar Rooms very basic with lack of bins/drinking glasses but if you book direct as a member then the 3 o’clock Sunday checkout is value for money AI deciding random prices is a bit of a pain and sometimes you have to cancel and rebook to get the best prices
Pleasant stay, the room was clean and the staff were very helpful. The only improvement i would suggest is to put usb charging points in the room.

I think Motel One is one of the best chains for business travel. It's really efficient in every way. Staff are super efficient and friendly (in Manchester). The whole servcie just works.

Had been to the one in Newcastle so went with high expectations - all of them were met. Great staff, excellent location, nice room, enjoyed the facilities - but best of all was the wonderful breakfast. Excellent value for money.
Everything was fantastic. Lass on the desk during check in and check out was amazing. I didn’t get her name sorry. I thought I had breakfast booked with a code given but was told I hadn’t so didn’t get breakfast, not sure if I can use that code again?
Staff were so helpful. Closeness to Piccadilly Station was so important! price was best among all the hotels in Manchester!
Clean and comfortable although had a poor night sleep owing to the room being too warm. Air conditioning is set to not allow cooling below 25 degrees!! Reception said nothing they could do about it. Had to have the windows open and listened to the Manchester traffic all night. Warm welcome at the hotel although very slow check in process. Only other comment I have is that the TV is locked down so that you can't switch inputs which is infuriating. Wanted to plug in my laptop to the main screen, or even my Firestick and was unable to. Again, reception could do nothing about it. Unlikely to stay again.

Simple rooms with all you need in a convenient location, excellent staff and top value for money. Could use a refresh, with better office chair & new carpet etc but it always does the job.

Booking, check in & checkout smooth and swift. Having to provide passport details on the app I thought a bit strange travelling from one county in the UK to another! Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Not a great nights sleep due to sound of running water almost continuously and other guests, aside from that, convenient to the railway station and generally a good location.

I had a room on the top floor. V quiet and peaceful. Was a Wednesday so not sure whether midweek makes a difference
The hotel was great. The only issue I had was that there was a horrible smell from the grains in the bathroom. I was in room 633.
