Cosy loving the log fire on the TVs, quiet and comfortable. Slept like a long, great location ❤️
We’ve stayed at Motel One Tower Hill many times and are always happy with the location. Gregoire and the team are simply fabulous at welcoming you on arrival and they can’t do enough to help. The bar staff are delightful too. The rooms and beds are super cosy and comfortable and I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. Thank you Motel One Tower Hill!!! :)
Friendly and efficient staff, comfortable room, great location
friendly staff welcoming you pleasant environment. funky interior
What more do you need. Clean, efficient and friendly.
This is a very comfortable hotel with great space, amenities and a fabulous view from certain rooms. I have stayed here twice and will gladly stay again. It is also very convenient to the tube and local sights.
Nice hotel; it's clean, good beds and modern interior. The breakfast is okay, but for this price I'm missing things like scrambled eggs and pancakes.
It is a great motel located close to the underground station and city centre. Very comfortable bed and tidy room. I highly recommend staying at Motel One!
Best Price / service . We enjoyed our stay A bit crowdy and disorganised for Breakfast. No one checked we were guest and our room nr.
Hotel was good, as we have always found Motel One hotels to be. However in our opinion the price is simply too high even by London standards. Lounge and bar OK but no Design Wow Factor as often found in Motel One bars.
We had a top floor room with an amazing view. Room was spotless, reception were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was varied and set us up for the day. We cannot wait to come back. A find in an amazing city.
Good staff, clean room, all good.
Staff members are very nice. Facility is very clean. Walking distance to Tower Bridge and Tube station.
Amazing location in the City if London, not too pricey if you book in advance.
Very friendly staff, great location, modern and comfortable hotel Nice bedroom and bathroom and good continental breakfast.
Got a lovely upgrade to a room with a view that was fab! Thank you so much!
Quiet, good value stay, with excellent temperature control. The room was compact but the carefully designed makes the most of the 16 square metres of space available.
The bed was very soft which meant you sank into it - toilet water was running all night - couldn't seem to close the sink plug for a shave (but this is probably me!) other than this a good stay - thanks
As good as usual!
Best central hotel in the City
Alles bestens :) gewohnter Motel One Standard
Overall very good stay. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was spotless and bed was comfy. A couple of minor improvements in the rooms would be appreciated for next time: - a few more hangers - proper water glasses or cups rather than disposable ones The F&B offering in the bar/lounge could be improved to offer a bit more variety than just basic toasties and the breakfast food offering was good, but the coffee didn't taste great. Ended up going to Pret on the corner on the other mornings.
The hotel is well placed for meetings in the city and a stone's throw from the Tower of London and bridge. The rooms are basic, but have everything you need and are clean. I did not have the breakfast and so can not comment on this, but very reasonably priced and will definitely be staying there again for my next visit to London.
Love that you now have started offering an option of toasts in the lounge during evenings.
It was nice to stay at motel one Tower Hill. The only small thing I missed at breakfast was scrambled egg.
Overview the experience is adequate, whilst on business romms are clean and tidy of a good standard. A littel bit of comfort is compromised in the room as the airconditoing system doesnt seem to cool the room and romms are always warm and stuffy. The channel selection on the TV is somewhat limited with minimal UK channles and seems biased to more European. My biggest issue is there is no fresh water provided in the room , iy would even benefit if ther was water coolers along the corrider. My other biggest issues by far is tht you Have to collect and carry an Ironing Board to your room, Whyare these not provided in every room? Price is about OK, but in my view as all the London City hotels to expensive, more value should be added if you are to command that price. The is also no loyalty scheme, I spend a lot of buiness capital ayt the hotel.
Welcoming front of house staff, nice bar area, very clean, great location for visiting the tower & handy for transport links . Room had everything in it but a bit small.
Very good experience!
Great location with a fantastic view and nice employees in the hotel.
Very clean and comfortable with excellent staff. V good location for both the City and visitors seeing many of the sites (tower bridge, the tower of london etc is just a 10 min walk) with Aldgate underground 3 mins walk. The only downside is the breakfast is a basic continental type with no cooked options however plenty of content for self service.
Despite booking a standard room, when I checked I was told I had been allocated a wheelchair accessible room and that I 'had to take that as there are no other rooms available'. Usually I would have no issue with this but the shower over the bath was not to my expectations. I stay in Motel One hotels most weeks during my work travels and have previously stayed in this one at Tower Hill and the rooms were fantastic. Unfortunately this room was not suitable for me, especially when I had booked a standard room 2 weeks in advance.
Good, clean, facilities adequate - nice stay - great location
Always do the basics really well. What stands out is the willingness to let you check in early if your room is available. Even early in the morning. Reception in particular weee great. Will definitely use again next time I’m in London
The light switch and table were sticky. It's a bit unfortunate that you can't open a window to let in fresh air.
Clean, fast checkout and a reasonable price. I looked to book again this week but the price had doubled so unfortunately, I had to go elsewhere.
Great stay just two minor things 1 - the bar staff added a charge to my bill without showing me the bill - I had to question this as the charge on the menu was different he said it was his tip! I didn’t think he warranted a tip as I was stood at the bar for ages and had to interrupt him chatting to his friend. He did remove the tip but it felt odd not to have been shown a full bill before to explain the charges. 2, the hotel room was great, loved the views, however the TV is facing the door to the room and the bed is nowhere near it. If it could be put on a bracket to swing round to face the bed it would be better. I couldn’t really watch tv properly as I wasn’t facing it.
One of the best hotels to stay in London especially near tower bridge. Tube stations are nearby for easy transport and accessible to many shops. One of the best thing is great view and 24 hours pub service with beautiful lounge. The breakfast was really amazing with a wide range and until 11 am which was real satisfaction. Overall the experience was awesome and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of London at feasible rates and good experience. Thank you.
Excellent
Just one thing: The first day, when i arrived in the corridor, where was my bedroom, the smell was strong, i think was the carpet, and some plates was on the floor during the night untill morning, i would recomend to put one shelve in the corner with one sign saying: Leave the plates here.
Very nice stay, fantastic staff
Lovely staff. The rooms could be bigger but the bed was very comfy :)
The location is perfect and very convenient to go around. There are many restaurants and also supermarkets that you can buy liquor. The The room didn't have a closet, a refrigerator, a coffee machine and it is very small to walk but the price was excellent.
Stayed for the night everything was excellent
Always happy with Motel One Hotels. Staff always friendly and helpful , rooms always very clean. First time stayed in London. Hotel near to many excellent locations, Tower of London, Sky Hotel also many good eating places. Enjoyed breakfast. Bar staff also friendly.
Overall experience was excellent. Hotel did exactly what I needed it to do, it was in good location, was clean, welcoming, staff were very friendly. Would definitely choose it again to stay for business in the area.
Best motel In town !
As always, great value. Good standard. The only thing was that the mattress would actually need replacing soon. Luckily, I was travelling on my own so I was able to sleep in the middle of the bed, but otherwise I may not have been so happy.
I love to stay at Motel-one Tower Hill
Perfect service, comfortable room
I really like motel one and stay in Edinburgh, Manchester and London. But this time I thought the room was tired , scruffy and not great. Not sure I will re visit here in the future , a shame

Accommodation fit for a monarch
You’re welcomed to the majestic Motel One London - Tower Hill in the UK capital with a hearty patriotic greeting. At reception, a collage shows the history of the coronation ceremony, and in the lobby, the hexagonal form of the illuminated exterior façade is presented as a diamond symbol. Breakfast in regal style in the One Lounge, the decoration of which is inspired by the nearby Tower of London. Your healthy and organic breakfast is served in chivalrous fashion in front of a historic backdrop and eaten on specially-made real leather benches with Chesterfield-style upholstery. Cosy box-spring beds ensure a sovereign sleep, crowning your stay in our Design Hotel. Welcome to London!
Our affordable hotel is in the centre of the city, close to the Tower of London, which for centuries was used as a jail for prisoners of the Crown, making it the setting for numerous dramas through the ages. Just 500 metres from the hotel is the Tower Hill London Underground station, your access point to the whole city. But this hotel also makes a great base from which to explore on foot. Only a short stroll away is Tower Bridge; stroll along the Thames from here to reach the heart of tourists’ London, with all the sights essential to your visit, including St. Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace. We and the city are waiting to welcome you.
