Breakfast area was much too crowded, people walking above each other. Would have been impossible for a business trip. Friendliness at reception is just the minimum required.
War alles i.O.
Arrrived at lunch time. Got the information that rooms are not yet available. Returned after work at approx. 09:30pm and got the room on the first floor with view to the tracks. Maybe next time it is possible to consider a more lovely room.
Excellent. Lovely hotel in a fantastic location with wonderful views. Perfect for the train station & only 10 minutes walk from the centre. We had a couple of requests on making the booking - often hotels just ignore this - however the fantastic staff on our arrival seemed to not only have read our request - but had given us what we asked for. Very impressed with this. Downside - lovely rooftop bar area - relaxing. Can't speak for the drinks - but we have to be honest and found the small food selection very disappointing for the price. If you are going to have a very small selection of sandwiches (that is, of course, fine) - then at least make it good quality. They were marketed as 'famous' toasted sandwiches - yet it was just 2 slices of cheap processed bread with very average cheap filling. This is a minor thing - but hopefully will be viewed as constructive.
Well located, near train station & city centre. Clean, cozy room room with amazing mountain views. Great value for money. Friendly reception personnel, Cecilia & Daniel, thanks again for your warm hospitality. Hope to come back one day.
Very nice hotel, well located, beautifully decorated.
The staff are so friendly and excellent to deal with all of them and the cleaners. Breakfast was fantastic also!
Bedroom was very small. I had problems walking to the balcony and the desk because I would allways touch the television. I could not enjoy the balcony as much because the entrance was only 180cm. I'm a good chunk taller than that. Bathroom was nice but the toiletpaper cut into my side. Food was good but the space cannot hold enough guest. If the wind is blowing outside the doors are loud and it is unsuable space. Good cleaning crew. Nice people but you could smile more.
Very overpriced and disappointing. Room 913. Smell of drains in the bathroom. Occasional bad smell in the bed (pet-related?). Lobby area is too small and crowded and the check in desk is too small for the number of guests. The bar/breakfast area is about the only nice feature of this hotel but there are no hot breakfast options. I will not recommend Motel One.
rooms were very small, airconditioning was not working, what caused that the room was too warm to have a good sleep at night. Everything was clean and new. I missed the mini bar
We had a warm welcome at check-in and staff were very helpful in providing us with a kettle. We also enjoyed spending time in the top floor bar with its views over the mountains. The room is quite cramped but acceptable for one night.
The rooms close to the elevators are unfortunately very noisy. Nice view from upper levels
Top City Hotel.
Beautiful hotel and perfectly located.
The hotel was beautifully decorated and styled, but even though we were given an upgraded room I found them small. Our specific room I found very dusty and as we faced the train station tracks opening the very small window wasn’t really an option as it was noisy and dirty on that side of the hotel. Saying that it was a plus for train travel to be so close to the station.
Very friendly people all over the place! Reception process could be improved. (Sometimes long queues)
Perfect location, friendly staff, clean & modern room.
all perfect. Single point of critic: Room was booked and used with two people. Towels in bathroom were only for one person. USB Charging slots would be also great.
Everything was great. Only things I would improve are water bottle in the room (we didn't understand why we have to go get water bottle from bar with voucher) and also it would be nice to have tv in room that has chromecast / possibility to use screen mirroring.
Alles okay
Good location, nice staff, contemporary design, clean room and restaurant, and very reasonable price, My only criticism is the very small room, probably a direct reflection of that price.
Was Good, clean and quiet, many thanks
We requested a quiet room and they accommodated us. We did have the window with the lit up “1”. The blinds mostly covered it but there were small lights across the top of the blinds, which didn’t keep us up. The shower door only covers half the shower so you can’t take a long shower without getting water on the floor.
Friendly staff, clean room, perfect location.
The hotel is perfectly located. It is a friendly and clean hotel for the money.
Very good, very quiet, reasonably priced room. Would stay again Only issue was some problems with booking. On-line system would freeze when we tried to confirm with card. Rang up and booked by phone but when we arrived they had us down as a corporate booking
Check in and out was easy. Room was clean with a beautiful view. Sadly there wasn't a water heater to make a tea or coffee - so tea and coffee maker was missing. nearly standard everywhere else especially in that category room prices. Breakfast - beautiful view but for people with back problems , the side tables for eating are rather counterproductive and there is a shortage of normal tables. breakfast buffet was ok,. unfortunately the yoghurts were spoilt with mould. conventional spreads - nothing regional or home-produced, the painted hard-boiled eggs don't help either - very small range.
Air con didn't work properly which meant the room was very stuffy. There was nothing in the room - no fridge, no wardrobe, no door on the shower meaning floor got wet. There was a good view. For the price it was too basic. Breakfast wasn't worth it
Me and my family enjoyed the stay.. the rooms and nice, comfortable and clean. The location is perfect, walking distance to the city center and the central station is few steps from the hotel. Breakfast Has a good variety of food and everything is fresh and bio. The staff was helpful and kind.. the internet was a bit slow but who cares when you’re ib Innsbruck for a break.definitely I recommend. And I hope we visit Innsbruck again and stay in the same hotel.
I am traveling with my senior parents, we have stayed in a couple of Motel One, and sadly this is the first time our experience wasn’t the best. We had two rooms, and in my parents rooms, housekeeping was very poor. My mom said they wouldn’t refill the shower soap, the Kleenex box and they folded their towels wet, making them feel a bit moldy. On day she hanged the “I don’t need housekeeping” sign, and they still went in. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful.
We have stayed in Motel One’s in several locations across Europe, however, we did not enjoy our stay at this property. The team was friendly and the room clean, however, it was so small you could not even wheel a suitcase around the bed, the airconditioning was defective, the proposed solution did not work (which made for an awful night) and the bathroom smelled. For the rate charged we would have been able to do better elsewhere.
First, I was delayed for an hour with the check-in, and I was ready through the application for quick entry. The receptionist tried to take 25 euros from me. I told him that I had paid everything before arriving. He did not listen to me and took it and called me back the next day and returned the money . Without even an apology ,Just a waste of my time. The room was a disaster when I received it. The smell of urine inside the bed and bacteria. I contacted the reception, but they did not believe me and told me that there was no possibility of changing the room until they came and made sure. They actually came and confirmed and the room was changed without even an apology. I do not think that I will return. It was the worst 3 days of stay and I do not recommend it.
Alles war super
Great hotel! Very clean and staff was very nice and accomodating.
Located close to the railway station. Nice modern hotel with comfortable room. Very good breakfast with very good views to enjoy whilst eating. A non-working room safe was the only negative - hotel staff had a look but couldn’t fix it on the weekend and offered a room change that I gratefully declined. I would stay again.
Excellent view of the mountains. Hearty breakfast. Well informed, friendly staff.
I am impressed with the service and the location of the hotel. However, I would recommend the hotel to improve room cleanliness. I can still observe dust in the room.
Great view from my room window, looking the mountains and Innsbruck city.King size bed was super comfortable and the size of the room bigger than other motel ones I ve stayed before. The guys working in the Lounge, were very polite and helpful. But the price of the room is too expensive for the brands concept 151euro per night is too much for single accommodation.
Very nice room, fantastic view, loved the bar on the 13th floor.
I was in the same hotel in Munich before Innsbruck and I liked it very much. Therefore, I didn't even think about which hotel I should go to in Innsbruck. Comfortable and friendly environment, cleanliness, good breakfast and location - I can say this and recommend it to others.
Love the service and hospitality! There was a miscommunication on a certain item, but it got resolved quickly! The location is very close to the train station; will love to stay here again!
Mega Rooftop Bar. Best of Motel One bars I know so far.
Motel One at its besr
We stayed two nights at the hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The city view room was quiet and clean. The buffet breakfast was very good.
This a convenient place to stay right on the Hbf concourse. My arrival was very late, after 0400h, but the friendly receptionist reinstated my reservation and I was asleep by 0430h. Clean, tidy room with wonderful view over Inn Valley. The breakfast on the 13th floor of the hotel had an even more spectacular view over the Alps and was good value. The breakfast room is also a bar, so much of the seating is at armchair level at low tables, awkward.
Beautifully designed hotel in a perfect location by the station. Enjoyed the views. The staff were incredibly friendly. This is my 3rd Motel One I’ve stayed at in the last couple of weeks and I specifically booked this hotel because of great stays in Hamburg (Cloud One) and Vienna.
Beautiful hotel near train station in Innsbruck. Beautiful views from our room and the breakfast area. One of my favorite hotels. Abraham was perfectly delightful checking us into our room.
Clean, nice view, beautiful bar/breakfast room with a view upstairs. Helpful staff. Breakfast misses more egg options or pancakes. Convenient location next to the train station. Biggest plus: they answer your e-mails and all questions fast!
I was disappointed to look out of my window on to the balcony/terrace to see a hotel employee sitting there looking at his phone. The balcony that I paid for is not the place for an employee to take a break!
I made a quick trip to Innsbruck & this stay was everything I needed and more. I was able to check in early, and the view from room 1106 was amazing! All staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel Innsbruck
The big city village
Welcome to the most urban village in Austria! Did you know that genuine Tyroleans affectionately refer to Innsbruck as an ‘overgrown village’? And rightly so, because the fifth-largest city in the ‘Alpine Republic’ combines big-city flair with rural idyll. Shall we prove it to you? In our Motel One Innsbruck, the big city village is at your doorstep.
Alpine chalet in the urban jungle – your hotel in Innsbruck
Good news! There’s no need to scale the Nordkette if you want to make yourself at home in an Alpine chalet. No, this Alpine chalet lies in the heart of the city. Your hotel brings the mountains to the valley, right next to the central train station. Snuggle up in a velvet armchair and warm yourself by the crackling fire. See for yourself: the flatscreen in the lobby is just as rustic and cosy as a real Tyrolean tiled stove.
All you need is a drink. Treat yourself to a refreshment from the bar, lean back in our rustic country-style sofas and enjoy the view of the Nordkette. And, since we can’t actually move mountains into our design hotel, we’ve simply recreated the beautiful forces of nature in trendy fine arts style on the glass façades of our lobby. One thing is for certain – you’ve never experienced the Tyrolean Alps like this.
In the mood for the real thing? You can experience the mountain range up close and personal right outside our affordable hotel. Like an attentive guardian, it surrounds the valley – from the New Town to the Old Town.
Speaking of the Old Town, Innsbruck’s narrow cobblestone alleys and decorative half-timber houses are also just a stone’s throw from the hotel. Take a leisurely stroll through the historical centre, pay a visit to the Baroque Cathedral of St. James and take a selfie in front of the Golden Roof, Innsbruck’s smallest and greatest treasure. Hungry? A serving of Tyrolean Speckknödel, or bacon dumplings, and “Kiachl”, a traditional doughnut, will fortify you for an eventful foray through the big city village. Because Innsbruck is not done with you yet – not by a long shot. You already know its lively urban side. But what about its calm and natural side?
At the feet of Tyrolean nature – your hotel in Innsbruck
How does it feel to fly? Now you can find out. At the Bergisel ski jump, you can reach for the sky. Even from a distance, the slender steel giant by architect Zaha Hadid sparks a thrill. After getting your adrenaline kick, bring your racing heartbeat back to normal with a cup of coffee and a slice of cake in the Bergisel Sky restaurant. The Innsbruck Nordkette cable car takes you even higher. The panoramic gondolas offer you a breathtaking 360-degree-view of the jewel of the Alps. And who knows? If you look close enough, you might even spot an ibex or a marmot during your journey. After all, what’s that they say? Tyrol is the home of the ibex and the marmot.
