Japanese flair by the Rhine

The tranquil wisdom of Zen meets the vibrancy of modern Tokyo – in the centre of Dusseldorf, right by the Rhine. How does that work? It works fantastically. Our central Motel One Dusseldorf-Hauptbahnhof is designed with elements from the Far East, based on the surrounding Japanese district. The One Lounge of the hotel – living room, breakfast area and bar in one – merges the skylines of Tokyo and Dusseldorf in an impressive collage. Fancy silk lanterns and Japanese characters, cherry blossoms and stone fountains convey the soothing silence of a Japanese Zen garden.

Thanks to its proximity to the central station and the airport, our design hotel is easily reached and a perfect base for exploring the city. The magnificent Königsallee boulevard and the Schadow arcades are within comfortable walking distance of the hotel. Shop to your heart's content! Even the old town is easily reached on foot, and you can always take an underground train to the Messe Dusseldorf fairgrounds.
A Japanese atmosphere at Dusseldorf central station – what’s not to like?
