Seamless check in. Rooms compact but comfortable. Spotless! Rooms were so quiet despite being in the middle of Dublin City centre. Great location. Breakfast was lovely.
Very central location, Hotel room was spotless. Perfect for staying while working in Dublin
Superb stay.
Amazing hotel will b telln friends
Only a few English speaking channels on tv. Not enough fresh air getting into the room. They’re small enough rooms and the windows don’t open enough. €7.90 for a Guinness in the bar. €7.90!!!!!!! For a Guinness!!!!!!! Hieneken maybe, but not Guinness. Who do ye think ye are? Will never drink there again.
Perfect location, great hotel. Rooms on the small side but perfect for a weekend stay
Location of hotel was great close to everything, staff were very friendly, breakfast was a good setup, couldn’t fault in anyway, would highly recommend
Very comfortable. Very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.
Overall a very good hotel with a great location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Beds are very large. Rooms big enough and comfortable. Everything well proportioned. Best of all, I could open the windows. Very nice reception area as well to take time off from exploring the city. Bit dark though for reading.
This was an amazing hotel. They were extremely accommodating and had the best location.
So central and great value. Very comfortable and clean. Enjoyable and relaxing stay
Room excellent as were the staff.
The view was a brick wall approx 25 yards away. The bathroom sink was very slow to drain. The tv signal was very poor. The breakfast was incredibly overpriced (€16.50pp) for the selection, we only had breakfast incase everything outside was closed due to storm eowyn. The breakfast room was chaotic. The bar only had guiness on draught, no lager or ale.
As mentioned before
The hotel is clean, the staff are very friendly. I like that the bar is open 24 hours, it would be nice if there was room service and some snacks available. I appreciate the tea making facilities too. One thing I would change is the shower gel dispenser in the bathrooms, it’s difficult to get plenty of shower gel out.
Great location, clean room, friendly check-in. Room was compact but spotless.
Rooms bit small and no door on the shower
all ok but the breakfast buffet was poorer than usual
The access to the TV channels and the available channels as such seem to vary during the day/evening, whilst there is no UK channels (as maybe the EU issue) - sometimes the TV scene halts during a documentary, so one has to keep channel hopping and navigate back to resume. The room didn't have the „sheer curtain“ or „transparent curtain“ between the windows and the turquoise curtains, which would be the preferred option to be in a room, that has those curtains as well.
Room 753, two nights, i am part of Companjon comapny, who has more than 30 people at your hotel each month for 4-5 nights. Room was very dirty, bed sheets dirty and alot of hair on pillows from cleaning team or previuos guests. also carpet was very dirty and it looked like it was not vacumeed for month. i stayed only two nights so decided not to complain, but in february i am staying 5 nights and if this happenes i will raise it for sure. This is first time i have seen shape of rooms in this hotel like that
I had a very positive experience at this location, The location is very convenient to all city centre locations for all transport links to all parts of Dublin & the outer regions. My only crib would the air conditioning problem. I reiterated this to the reception & they advised me that this was being taken care by agents from Germany & therefore is OK. Every new business will have teeding problems & that is normal in life which is OK. The overall ambient atmosphere in the lounge is very relaxing & very positive which I liked. I will be returning soon as the location is ideal for business & meeting people in a private capacity. Overall a very positive experience so well done to all the staff & management. I must mention that I gave a very positive experience when I making the reservation with Jadine, she was very helpful & made my booking very easy & clear in a positive manner. Many Thanks
Excellent stay at Motel One in Dublin, the staff I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel, though central was nice and quiet. You'd forget that you were in the heart of the city. Excellent positioning near The Academy and Jervis Street Luas Station. I will be looking up Motel One the next time I'm going to be in Dublin to stay.
We had a great time in your hotel. We were warmly welcomed and the room was really comfortable and clean. Bar open 24h. Very convinient location. Just a little thing: it would be nice to have bottles of water in the room and why not a minibar.
Very nice and clean. Met my expectations.
It is a lovely hotel and I really enjoy staying there if there's one thing that I would like to see improved would be if someone is looking for a late check-out they should be able to book it online before they arrive or book it when they arrive.
As always have a great stay at The Motel one. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Hotel clean, nice vibe in the reception and bar. Good standard of bed. Shower needs to have greater water pressure, TV only seemed to show German channels. When I asked at reception the reply was that it is a German hotel chain. I've stayed at Motel on in Glasgow and that hotel had all the local channels
I was offered to change rooms very fast, cause in the first room the air condition was'nt working properly. Btw: a manual on how to use it would be great.
It is my second stay at Motel One. The first experience was great so we came back this year. Me and my friend stayed at rooms next to each other. Both rooms was freezing. The a/c showed Error. We addressed it with the lobby, they tried to fix it but I guess it did not work out. Both of us had to sleep in our outerwear.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. I was amazed that there was no microwave in the room but I'm told that in European countries ithere s never one in the room. I was told that's only an American thing.
The staff at motel one were very welcoming. Such a lovely hotel, very clean with a quiet and calm atmosphere. Good check in and check out times and they have somewhere to hold your luggage. Would definitely stay again
Excellent stay , Lovely staff, spotlessly clean
Amazing location - so close to the centre and main touristy area. The room was great and clean, even had a hairdryer which is always a plus! The reception area of hotel looked amazing and staff were very friendly and nice as we were able to keep our bags at the hotel before checking in and after checking out. Would definitely recommend.
I find this hotel to be very central, and convenient to the Jarvis Luas stop. It is clean and comfortable. I like the ambience in the lounge/bar area. It’s very relaxing to sit reading, and have a drink. The reception staff are lovely, but it would be a great addition to have an Irish staff member there.Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The room is small, but comfortable. We had issues with the AC that was super cold and would not get warm. Clearly it was deffective, but the manager kept putting those coffee mixer wood sticks in it and turning it on, only for it to turn it off 20 minutes later. My husband went to the reception 3 times, but nothing changed. The person that came to the room did the same thing, over and over. Until we gave up and I stayed cold during the night. Breakfast is not a continental buffet, but I understand this is a standard breakfast in all of your hotels (Brussels, Berlin, Dublin)...the cost is too high for the offered options.
You should add some food menu.
Very easy check in, room is small but perfectly formed and has everything you need. Hotel is super quiet and a good location in the centre of the city. A great price too.
Nice comfy bed and fantastic location will definitely stay again
Loved it! Clean, tidy room, friendly helpful staff and well stocked bar in a great location. What more could you ask for?
We’re do I start location perfect, staff very friendly amenities all within walking distance, my stay was perfect just like the hotel, I would definitely be coming back and would highly recommend
Very nice stay in motel one, was greeted by a sweet girl Aoife, very helpful professional and very accommodating with traditional Irish places to visit during my stay, highly recommend all staff very helpful and friendly
My stay was very warm and welcoming staff very friendly, location ideal very close to all amenities
We had a marvellous stay well worth the price, location was great in city centre, staff very friendly and helpful with eat out locations well recommended 💯
My stay was amazing, I was checked in by a lovely young girl called Aoife who was very polite, the location was perfect and the staff were very friendly.
Loved our stay in this funky, modern hotel. Room was fantastic with a very stylish bathroom. Location was perfect for a short stay in Dublin as we could walk to all the main sights. Very close to Temple Bar but far enough away to avoid disturbance if staying when the city is busy. It far exceeded our expectations and we will now be on the lookout for Motel One in other cities.
Very clean hotel, central location, and price competitive. Will stay again, and other Motel 1 hotels. Good impression.
Great stay, reception staff are amazing as always.
unfortunately but as maybe comprehensible the TV channels are sometimes over bandwidth or just black and then back on again, also all BBC or other UK channels don't work, dunno, MfG WK
The hotel is clean, cozy with a great breakfast and the Staff is very polite and helpful. The only thing was missing is to be able to connect the phone with the TV to be able to watch movie as most of the Chanel is in France and Germany.
Lovely bed very comfortable room a small bit small
