We had a very nice stay and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was ok, but a bit minimal for 18€/person. Our room smelled of the bathroom/sink/toilet when we entered and when we came back. I think the ventilation in the bathroom is not working properly. We opened the window, which made it a bit more bearable.
Everything excellent as usual. The room was maybe a bit tinier than in other Motel Ones. For the period I booked (5th to 7th Dec) the price was a bit too high lowering the usual quality/price ratio. I would suggest to give a free bottle of water for each night of the stay and/or to indicate in the room with a sign if tap water is drinkable. The space for breakfast was very crowded in some rush hours and it would be better to have more tables and chairs rather than using the lounge area with sofas and low tables.
The overall value is great. Everything one would need to sleep in a city far from home. However, our price was very high (210€ for one night) due to high demand. Even more important was that the app stated there is parking and there are charging stations. That's true but it's missing to state that parking is 18€ per night (while street parking would have been free) and charging requires internet to compare rates (and there's no connection in the underground parking lot). I ended up using my Maingau card because it worked but had to pay almost 1€/kWh which is more than double the normal rates. Being expensive is one part - not knowing about it is just bad.

If you want a slightly off the beaten path location that is only feet away from some of the best baroque streets in Dresden, this hotel is the place.

During peak hours at breafast the number of seats wasn't sufficient. Seats in the the lobby were not comfortable to have breakfast.
I really liked the staff, the room was very clean the hotel was quiet and very well isolated. I would just advise to have a little more options for the snacks at the bar with more healthy choices (Kimchi, kraut, soup, salad) and at breakfast too.
Tiny room and very no frills. No fridge and no hot water available.
All positive as usual friendly staff My only negative point is security as everybody can just walk in and take the lift to the rooms.
Rooms are very small. Bed is comftable, i had nice view from the room.

Room, etc. was all good. It was just disappointing that when I asked for parking I was not informed upfront about the cost. 18Eur per night is embarrassing.

Thank you very much. One of the best Motel One hotels we have ever stayed in. Very cozy. In a quiet area yet still in the vibrant Dresden Neustadt. The staff was very friendly. We were only surprised that even when we were the only guests in the bar, nobody came to take the order at the table nor served us at the table. We had to pick up our orders at the bar. Even in very crowded Motel One bars of other hotels you get served and feel like a guest who is being taken care of. Just a small remark. The girls were always friendly and caring but when you stay at Motel One often you notice that there is a lack of service. Especially when you are the only guests in the bar.
Knowledgeable, friendly, customer focused staff. Excellent, clean accommodations. Great location for a “walking” visit of Dresden. A great value. Diego represents your hotel in a very professional manner. Excellent employee.

Room and bathroom extremely picky. Bed comfortable, nice shower. Staff partly very nice and helpful, partly unfriendly and arrogant. Not the experience I normally expect in Motel One.

Everything went well. Highly recommended. Bathrooms are a little smaller than other motel ones: and every time I stood in front of the sink my foot hit the garbage can which made a racket. That’s very minor. They should get smaller or different shaped garbage cans. Only Motel One that I’ve had this problem in. And again it’s really minor. Everything else was great. Room was clean, people were courteous. Pretty minor problem
The stay was overall good. The employee at the reception was not friendly at all on the arrival day. The toilette was not cleaned well. Still hair from the previous or cleaning team was on the toilette which we have cleaned up ourselves. The employee at the bar was very friendly and welcomed.
NIce location. Overall decent experience except for the fact that we had to pay for everything as we ordered such as breakfast, cocktails, etc. Staff refused to let us charge anything to our room. Odd since they had our credit card for "incidental" charges. Weren't always the politest in this regard. Felt like the staff doesn't trust its' customers. Odd

It was a nice stay, the room was small but very well equipped, great view and quality. There were some administration issues but after a while they got resolved. Happy to stay again

New, clean rooms, windows open, no allergies. Nice bar / lounge. Getting the online registration for a free breakfast didn't work. In general, online booking was confusing, took me in sum an hour (buggy UX/UI)
There's little that needs improvement. Everthing is functional and fits my needs.

Tolles Hotel, super!
I really enjoyed my stay here. Good location, comfortable bed, lovely bar and friendly staff. I really liked the decor too. The breakfast was good but it would have been nice to be offered some hot food, and the bedroom needed more hanging space and surfaces. Despite this, I would definitely stay here again.
