Thank’s to all the people at the reception very kind in helping. And of course to all the others that work there: bar, breakfast area etc.. wonderfull people.
Good room with a nice bed and bathroom. The big window gave a nice view at the garden. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok. The tables were standing a bit to short next to each other and at the buffet it was a bit too crowded.
Alles prima
The room was very nice and clean. A little bit small. The lobby in the hotel was great. The only downside was the parking. There was mentioned on the site of private parking, however we had to reserve but there was no option for it.
Only after I booked at the hotel did I discover that my car was not allowed in the “clean air” zone. This did prove to be both expensive and inconvenient. It would have helped if the hotel had warned me. But the hotel itself is delightful, with very friendly staff and good facilities in a beautiful location. I shall return!
Nice hotel, problem with room heating. Need to set control to 30 deg C for bearable temperature in winter. Reported to reception with little recognition. Problem was known and related to building size or personal guest preference, All really dumb excuses......
Very good hotel, really enjoyed the stay there.
Perfect location. Clean hotel. Good quality and good service.
Everything was great. The welcome, the staff, the rooms and the breakfast. The hotel was clean and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Lovely new hotel in a great location. Friendly staff and the room was in excellent condition. The tv fire place was a nice quirk.
Great location, perfect parking, comfortable beds, super service ( always with a smile)
Great location, great layout in the hotel of the bar and breakfast area, beautiful décor, great atmosphere
A fine and brandnew motel in the middle of town. The staf is very friendly and capable. The website says that you cannot make a reservation for the hotelparking. But you can by emailing the hotel. We were attracted with a free breakfast but in the end this offer disappeared. The reception staf was not (yet?) used to the web procedures. Nevertheless we had a pleasant stay
It is the second time I stayed at Motel One. Before I was in the Wien Motel One. I totally love the whole concept
We’ve had a lovely time! A brand new hotel in an amazing spot in Antwerp! All the highlights are in walking distance. Room is good, bathroom a bit small but functional. Incredible eye for detail throughout the entire hotel. If we ever come back to Antwerp we will be back to this hotel.
Comfortable room, well located. Fine welcome and breakfast. The hotel was quite new!
The location is perfect. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean. This is very important to me and I am very critical about this, so that is very good. This is value for money. The breakfast is good, but I missed the scrambled eggs, to be honest. The fact that were not enough tables and we had to sit in lounge chairs was not so comfotable. But I, like I said, value for money and I would definitely go back!
Overall can not fault it. Great location. Brand new. Friendly staff.
At first, the communication to reserve was very bad, I had to book with an external partner to have a good price as the hotel wouldn’t match or give me a good price. The check-in was smooth. The room was clean, not that big, but allright. The bathroom was a bit too small, bit too tight to even dress well. The doors were slamming hard in the hall, you could hear every time someone left their room as the doors smash so hard and I even woke up from it. Also not having a tv you can cast or watch netflix on is very sad, this is something you would expect for a hotel these days, especially as the hotel just openend. Overall the experience was okay, but a lot of room for improvement. I will probably write a public review too
Overall very nice and clean rooms, top location what I really do not understand is the carpet in the rooms, just does not give a clean feeling, the rooms are very new but I cannot even begin to imagine what gets on those carpets and how they will be after a year of use, even with a powerful vacuum cleaner Also, since we had a room in the second building we had to take two elevators and go through the breakfast room to get to and from the lobby, not really handy
very nice designed building
Fantastic new hotel in the city center. Beautiful decorated, great breakfast, comfy rooms and lovely staff. Underground spacious parking! best value for money
Originally I was booked into another hotel but switched due to construction - and was glad I did. This new Motel One is adjacent to a great shopping street with lots of independent vintage and antique stores, cafes, wine bar next door, and barely 5 mins walk to two tram stops. Also 5 mins walk to the river where we saw the fabulous New Years Eve fireworks. Same distance to Groenplaats, yet nice and quiet. The room itself was lovely, small but this was clearly stated on the website, and the floor to ceiling windows made it feel much bigger. There was a clever shelving/storage unit that I have not seen at other Motel Ones which I found very practical, bathroom on the small side but perfectly ok. Great breakfast (fresh honeycomb!) and lovely accommodating staff. I liked it so much I extended my trip by a day.
Very modern, with very nice people reception.
It’s clean and friendly hotel employees
all was good. the only issue - i think - a/c didn’t work. so for refreshing i used windows. but it was quit loud. would be great if a/c works
Alles was goed!
As the hotel was brand new, everything was in good shape. Personal at the reception was very nice and helpful. The men at the bar need some more practice, that was a bit chaotic. I do miss some scrambled eggs at breakfast but apart from that it was fine.
Location and excellent customer service. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Antwerp. Very safe and accessible to public transportation. You can stroll and enjoy charming vintage shops, cafes and nearby tourist attractions. The hotel is chic with many unique and beautiful art furniture. The staff is welcoming and always ready to assist. One of the things I looked forward to was breakfast. The hotel's breakfast features a full selection of items including perfectly boiled eggs, fresh and warm croissants, crusty breads, delicious pastries, as well as different kinds of beverage such as juices, coffee, hot chocolate, dairy and dairy-free milk alternatives--great for people with allergies. The smell of the warm bread and coffee as we went down the dining area gave me a sense of home. Also worth mentioning is the customer service in the dining area, particularly Kristina Peralta who is very friendly and attentive. Kristina greeted us and other guests with a smile and always checked in to fulfill our requests or address any concerns. Definitely will recommend this hotel and will stay here again.
Great location and good value for the money
Good service and great rooms, nothing to complain
I had a very nice stay, the price is attractive regarding the standing of the hotel and its localization, ideally situated at the heart of Antwerp. It would have been great to have a kettle in the room but no mandatory. Regarding breakfast, I wished that regarding the price, there would be more "warm options" : scrambled eggs, bacon, beans... People are the bar were nice but they forgot my order, I had to ask for it again.
Room climate was definitely not OK at all for this new hotel. It was far too hot (much more than 20 degrees). It was not possible to cool temperature by the room panel. Opening the windows helped a little bit but this caused lots of noise from traffic and people outside during the night. Bathroom is very small, especially toilet.
The overal hotel is fine. The main issue was with the bad, as on booking.com it allows to chose the bed size and I took a king size, but eventually got a queen size or even smaller. Also the matrace was too soft on sides so when you lay close to the side, you roll down. Towels and blankets contained lot of dust/micro textile pieces. They have to be shaken out after washing.
Nice hotel if the management improves it based on the reviewer comments. The hotel room was really clean, and everything was brand new. The staff was nice and accountable, the location was perfect, and the breakfast was worth trying. The room doesn't seem to be soundproof. The voice of the other room could be clearly heard. Even when the upper room used the toilet's flash tank, the sound of water flowing through the pipes was as close as if we were using it ourselves. The amenities were insufficient, for example, there was no kettle in the room or a phone to call reception.
Very nice
Friendly and helpfull staff, Nice and clean, very nice beds.
everything was perfect: clean and quiet rooms with very comfortable beds. friendly staff, cozy bar. everything was only a short walk away. wish we could have stayed longer, will come back often.
can only highly recommand this hotel 😀 would book again … Rgds Myriam
Absoltely fantastic. The room the breakfast every things!
Nice and modern: room was quite small, especially the bathroom.
Excellent hotel. The only thing to point out is that the rooms could be a bit bigger. The staff, from reception to the cleaners, are super friendly. I loved it and highly recommend it for those who want to stay near the Christmas markets. Fabulous garage at the hotel.
Alles super.tolles Hotel!!!
- unkind personal at check inn and check out (same person). Couldnt handle feedback (it was all our problem) - bad signing from car park to lounge/check in - only a light and outlet on one side of the bed - strange place for the bathroom light switch (especially at night)
Perfect

Hotel Antwerp
A city with many facets
At first glance, Antwerp may not be as well-known as Paris, Rome or London, but that is what makes it so special. The blend of modernity and history makes the place what it is: a top destination for all those who love city breaks!
Every corner of Antwerp tells its own story. From the historical, winding alleys of the Old Town to one of the largest ports in Europe – a destination full of variety. What people particularly appreciate about the city, however, is its creative spirit. It’s not only its impressive art history or the world-famous diamond quarter that shape the image of Antwerp, but also the fashion scene. Because if you love fashion, you won’t want to leave this city. Even in its early years, the port was an important place for the textile trade, which is why Antwerp gained great influence on fashion trends over the years. That’s why the interior design of our Motel One hotel is all about fashion.
The design hotel and fashion
The theme of fashion is already evident in the hotel’s entrance area. The reception area is adorned with hand-woven rugs, designed by a former apprentice of Dries van Noten, a Belgian fashion designer. At the hotel bar, the classic checked pattern comes to life and lets them shine in all their glory. The design at this Antwerp hotel has been carefully thought out, and the love is in the detail – as in all our hotels. But the fashionable elements are not the only thing the hotel has to offer. It is equipped with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, in-room smart TV, iron and ironing board rental at reception and limited parking for a relaxed arrival by car. There is also a delicious breakfast with regional specialities and, as it’s a child-friendly hotel, there is even a free breakfast for children under 6 years. For a restful night, the design hotel in Antwerp even provides hypoallergenic pillows and duvets on request. You also have the option of free luggage storage with us, so that you can take a walk into the city centre before check-in or after check-out without having to drag your suitcase along with you.
Location of the hotel in Antwerp
Speaking of downtown, the hotel is located on the edge of the fashion district, in the vicinity of numerous designers, fair fashion stores and concept stores. The MoMu – short for the Modemuseum (fashion museum) – and the famous Kloosterstraat with many well-known young designers are also within walking distance.
So the hotel boasts an excellent location in the centre of the city. You don’t have to go far to visit the most famous sights!
The waterfront area is very impressive and you should not miss it. The Groenplaats, a busy square near the Cathedral of Our Lady, is a well-known photo subject. The Diamantenviertel (Diamond Quarter) can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot. You’ll find it around the corner of the impressive building of the central railway station. Did you know that Antwerpen-Centraal railway station has been voted one of the most beautiful stations in the world? And if you’ve had enough of historic buildings and sparkling diamonds, you’ll find the Antwerp Zoo and the Chocolate Nation museum right next to the tracks. Look out, another superlative! For Antwerp is home to the largest museum of Belgian chocolate in the world. So many sweet temptations…

Food and drink in Antwerp
Hungry after all that sightseeing? Belgium is famous for its waffles, chocolate, pralines and chips – here, they even claim to have invented the chip. Moules-frites (mussels and chips), are also a typical Belgian dish. While you’re in Antwerp, it’s also a good idea to try handjes – special biscuits, cookies or chocolate, either with or without a marzipan filling, in the shape of a hand. Fancy some refreshments away from the hotel after an extensive shopping tour through Antwerp? Then we recommend a visit to a cosy café, bar or restaurant as a fitting end to a successful day of sightseeing. The city is truly a paradise for gourmets.
Your hotel in Antwerp – the perfect getaway
Antwerp is a city that always surprises you. Here you will find the perfect blend of tradition, culture and plenty of creativity. Anyone who comes here quickly realises that this is not only a place to look at, but above all a place to experience. If you are not arriving by car, there is the option of arriving by train via Antwerp’s central station. From there, it’s either a 25-minute walk to the hotel or you can take the tram to Groenplaats. If you are arriving by plane, the airport is about 30 minutes away by public transport. After arriving in Antwerp, you can come to our hotel and then go and explore the city at your own pace.
