Perfect stay. Beautiful and comfortable room on the 4th floor with a windows you can open and a view over the garden. Extremely quiet. Really cheap for a stay in a new hotel in the city. Close to historical center and museums.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Antwerp. Great value. Clean, new rooms. Comfortable mattress. I’d stay here again.
Great location to the nicest part of town. Silent rooms, nice staff, clean, modern and at a great price. All around excellent price/service ratio.
Alles tip top
Excellent hotel. Very stylish , modern and clean. The position is very good and the staff very friendly. Loved it.
Very good location, spacious, very clean (new construction) , modern, car parking, breakfast. Above all, the lady supervisor was very helpful. JCS
Very nice and helpfull personell! Room is sufficient, clean and quiet on courtyard. Everything you need for a short stay (not more then that, but it fullfills this great).
Great short stay in Antwerp. Room was ready early and staff was super friendly. Bed as comfortable as always in Motel One.
I really enjoyed my stay in Antwerp. My room was clean & well designed. I loved the huge windows & crisp, white bedding. The staff were friendly & accommodating. The bar downstairs had a great ambience with a good selection of gins ( some I hadn’t tried before ) . The location was excellent, many attractions I wanted to visit were only a short walking distance. There were some very nice shops & restaurants nearby.
Nice location, nice people nice room
Super Location, modern design and very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay very much!
alles top
Top confortable! Merci
No Tea/Coffee/Water in our room. This is not good! Sweet Bar staff, but they did not know how to make a cocktail. Very comfy beds. Peaceful and Calm.
The newly opened Motel One Antwerp was absolutely up to our expectations. The quiet room was perfectly clean and offered all comfort required including the bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location close to centre and public transport is absolutely perfect. Really good value for money! Returning to Motel One hotels since a few years now and no doubt the next stay will be at Motel One once again.
Very nice and trendy hotel, perfectly located!
Great location and value. Stayed one night midweek and couldn’t fault any aspect of the hotel or experience. Would definitely stay again.
The first night was okay but the second night the cold was extreme the hotel Turned on automatic air(their explanation was because it was too warm outside) and the rooms were like refrigerator - and no Option to warm the room the machine was working automatically - left with ear pain from the cold - there was no Refrigerator in the room and we went to The bar to order a coffee and they said they do Just one kind of coffee no espresso or capuccino just one kind … unbelievable - great location and clean room were the pro points - but the room too small
perfect stay, rooms are not that big but big enough for a short stay. Breakfast is very good as well and staf as well
Very nice stay at Motel One - you can't beat the price/quality while staying in the city center.
The hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean, modern and the beds are very good.
Beautiful hotel, good location and well appointed, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Only issue was no kettle in the room but apart from that was a great stay.
It was verry good.
I have pay for a big bedroom, this one was big but with so many place lost. The entrance are big not the room. The batheroom are so tiny it's so funny lol The temperature in the room was around 26 degré, impossible to sleep, the windows dont open. Was an horrible stay and experience
Very nice hotel, new set up good location and very kind staff. The rooms depend on which side of the building they are. The rooms are very clean and tidy but they are rather small . 16m2.! There are no equipments in the room, No coffee or tea making faciities and there are no fridges. The breakfast bar is laid out very nicely but there are no cooked brekafast at all.
We missed having a water cooker in our room to make a cup of tea. The room is very small.
Everything as always good. Some room unexpectedly have a different planning compare to other Motel One. Shower foset did not work as expected: did not look broken, but did not fit there. Overall bad air ventilation, but could be caused by cold weather. Breakfast area little bit tight. But very good location. Lounge Bar staff were super friendly and helpful.
Rooms are small but functional. Breakfast room is small and the designer furniture doesn't serve its purpose.
Good peaceful location and clean new hotel. Good location for the city centre and Darklands
The hotel is very well located, very friendly staff, I had a great time, have a good weekend. Room is very good.
One of the best stay on motel one Respectful and helpful staff discret and kind Excellent situation very nice design
The hotel location is great. Staffs are very friendly and customer oriented. Rooms are spacey and clean.
Very good stay, nice hotel with warm ambiance, breakfast could offer eggs…
We love this hotel so much The second time we came And we will come back soon
Good location, quiet, well equipped. Only one remark : lot of water on the floor when taking a shower : not very safe when getting off the shower.
Fancy looking hotel with nice furniture but for 200€/night for a 12-15m2 is rather expensive, even for Antwerp. A bathroom of 2m2 is VERY SMALL. And for that price you would expect some toiletries, there was only some handsoap. Nothing else. 22€ for a breakfast for 1 person, also very expensive for a standard continental breakfast. At the bar, I ordered 2 drinks to take up to my room, I paid 23€. 2 hours later, for the exact drinks I paid 19€. Mentioning this to the barkeeper, he just said he didn’t know why. Weird. I don’t know if I would stay there again, I would look elsewhere for sure, especially because of the size of the room compared to the price. I think you pay this price mostly because the hotel has a nicely decorated lounge with quality furniture - but that’s not why you would stay in a hotel… Also the location is of course ideal, very close to the centre. Parking fees are the same as the parkings nearby.
Very nice and clean hotel in the city
It is a very good hotel. The People are nice, everything is clean and the service is good.
Motel one Antwerp is located in the centre of the old town, 2 minutes from the main square and the cathedral. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is good size and like the design, the bed is very comfortable. The hotel design is fantastic, make sure you walk around and look at all the lovely details: furniture, rugs, .. it's great. The bar has a great atmosphere. I would definitely stay there again.
I enjoyed the large window of the room with view on the statue of Jordaens (a painter I appreciate) The welcoming with a « tv chimney fire » was a nice idea and I let it for a long time in the evening before falling asleep. Along with the soft lightings it creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The shower product and soap are very delicate and well chosen. The different streams of the shower are divine. The cleanliness is impeccable and all the staff has been welcoming and sweet. In Antwerpen, the situation of the hotel is perfect, right next to the cathedral and few minutes walking from the Museum of Fine Arts.
Great location and very stylish hotel. A few things would have made it even better - tea/coffee facilities in the room, a wider selection of TV channels so we could have watched films, and USB ports. We had said we were on a special holiday (celebrating a pregnancy) but didn’t receive any special treatment which would have been an added bonus.
A cleaning lade came into the room, while we were sleeping. Also very noisy in the morning from the hallways of the motel.
A gem in Antwerp ! You can be proud of all your staff we spoke with many of them . So friendly all the all like there job so much .a big plus your bar open 24 hours if you arrive with a jet lag it’s fantastic
Iam waiting for response becausse we left early because of on emergency the manager would check if we could get a discount
Clean modern and warmful hotel 👍 friendly personel 😉
The staff should speak Dutch/Flemish (which is the language in Antwerp). Everywhere they start in English. That's the least you can do is learning the language of the country you work in. In other countries (Germany/Austria) they welcome you in German.
We were missing coffee and cups in the room
I had a superior room, and it was cold. the air conditioning did not work. At reception they offered me a drink to compensate me. The room was very cold and the maintenance staff was not there. To charge the reception fee if it was there, to fix the A/C the maintenance fee was not. It is the second time that it has happened to me in that hotel. I will never return, I will not recommend it. Breakfast did not have the basic scrambled eggs with beacon, with this I say it all. The hotel is a fraud.
Thank’s to all the people at the reception very kind in helping. And of course to all the others that work there: bar, breakfast area etc.. wonderfull people.
Good room with a nice bed and bathroom. The big window gave a nice view at the garden. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok. The tables were standing a bit to short next to each other and at the buffet it was a bit too crowded.

Hotel Antwerp
A city with many facets
At first glance, Antwerp may not be as well-known as Paris, Rome or London, but that is what makes it so special. The blend of modernity and history makes the place what it is: a top destination for all those who love city breaks!
Every corner of Antwerp tells its own story. From the historical, winding alleys of the Old Town to one of the largest ports in Europe – a destination full of variety. What people particularly appreciate about the city, however, is its creative spirit. It’s not only its impressive art history or the world-famous diamond quarter that shape the image of Antwerp, but also the fashion scene. Because if you love fashion, you won’t want to leave this city. Even in its early years, the port was an important place for the textile trade, which is why Antwerp gained great influence on fashion trends over the years. That’s why the interior design of our Motel One hotel is all about fashion.
The design hotel and fashion
The theme of fashion is already evident in the hotel’s entrance area. The reception area is adorned with hand-woven rugs, designed by a former apprentice of Dries van Noten, a Belgian fashion designer. At the hotel bar, the classic checked pattern comes to life and lets them shine in all their glory. The design at this Antwerp hotel has been carefully thought out, and the love is in the detail – as in all our hotels. But the fashionable elements are not the only thing the hotel has to offer. It is equipped with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, in-room smart TV, iron and ironing board rental at reception and limited parking for a relaxed arrival by car. There is also a delicious breakfast with regional specialities and, as it’s a child-friendly hotel, there is even a free breakfast for children under 6 years. For a restful night, the design hotel in Antwerp even provides hypoallergenic pillows and duvets on request. You also have the option of free luggage storage with us, so that you can take a walk into the city centre before check-in or after check-out without having to drag your suitcase along with you.
Location of the hotel in Antwerp
Speaking of downtown, the hotel is located on the edge of the fashion district, in the vicinity of numerous designers, fair fashion stores and concept stores. The MoMu – short for the Modemuseum (fashion museum) – and the famous Kloosterstraat with many well-known young designers are also within walking distance.
So the hotel boasts an excellent location in the centre of the city. You don’t have to go far to visit the most famous sights!
The waterfront area is very impressive and you should not miss it. The Groenplaats, a busy square near the Cathedral of Our Lady, is a well-known photo subject. The Diamantenviertel (Diamond Quarter) can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot. You’ll find it around the corner of the impressive building of the central railway station. Did you know that Antwerpen-Centraal railway station has been voted one of the most beautiful stations in the world? And if you’ve had enough of historic buildings and sparkling diamonds, you’ll find the Antwerp Zoo and the Chocolate Nation museum right next to the tracks. Look out, another superlative! For Antwerp is home to the largest museum of Belgian chocolate in the world. So many sweet temptations…

Food and drink in Antwerp
Hungry after all that sightseeing? Belgium is famous for its waffles, chocolate, pralines and chips – here, they even claim to have invented the chip. Moules-frites (mussels and chips), are also a typical Belgian dish. While you’re in Antwerp, it’s also a good idea to try handjes – special biscuits, cookies or chocolate, either with or without a marzipan filling, in the shape of a hand. Fancy some refreshments away from the hotel after an extensive shopping tour through Antwerp? Then we recommend a visit to a cosy café, bar or restaurant as a fitting end to a successful day of sightseeing. The city is truly a paradise for gourmets.
Your hotel in Antwerp – the perfect getaway
Antwerp is a city that always surprises you. Here you will find the perfect blend of tradition, culture and plenty of creativity. Anyone who comes here quickly realises that this is not only a place to look at, but above all a place to experience. If you are not arriving by car, there is the option of arriving by train via Antwerp’s central station. From there, it’s either a 25-minute walk to the hotel or you can take the tram to Groenplaats. If you are arriving by plane, the airport is about 30 minutes away by public transport. After arriving in Antwerp, you can come to our hotel and then go and explore the city at your own pace. Whether you’re planning a long weekend or a spontaneous getaway, our Motel One hotel is the perfect starting point. We look forward to welcoming you!
