Excellent hotel, fantastic location. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was small but perfectly adequate. Immaculately clean throughout, the shower was excellent the king size bed super comfortable and the bedding great quality. Had a fantastic nights sleep, would definitely recommend and we will book again 😊
Stayed here as a 4 to watch Peter Kay Live Saturday 11th Jan. Stayed at the hotel before, perfect location, close to shops/bars/restaurants. Stayed in two Queen rooms however they were considerably small but fine for what we needed them for. Only disappointment was the breakfast, only cereal and toast etc - no cooked breakfast which I feel for £350 for 4 of us to stay for one night is extremely over priced as a fully cooked breakfast the next day would have been perfect as not a lot of places open in the city until 9/10am.
A nice, comfortable, clean hotel, within walking distance of the city centre
A good room, friendly welcome and good continental breakfast. The tv stations kept cutting out due to poor signal. The furniture was quite stained and tired looking - the stool and chair need cleaning.
Excellent staff, hotel and cleanliness.
Decor a bit tired but everything we needed for our stay. Staff were excellent and very helpful
I have stayed at Motel One Piccadilly previously so brought my own cup for the room as I don't like the papercups. I usually stay 2-4 nights for work purposes.. It's a shame the room doesn't have a small fridge so I can keep snacks cold, and having to request an Iron is a pain too. Overall it's a good hotel for 1-2 nights, any longer and it's underpar.
Very good value for money in terms of the room itself, small but perfectly adequate for a night or two and has all the facilities needed for a short stay and quite comfortable. The breakfast on the other is not with the money (£14). All cold and little choice.
I love hotel so friendly and well run by the team. Only thing it would be nice to have porcelain mugs and a couple of glass glasses for the room. Great stay and will return.
Wonderful service and a lovely room. Never could work out how to use the tv though!
Brilliant hotel, staff went above and beyond to help you . Comfortable no noise. A pleasure to stay there. Have rebooked to stay next month February. And May .
I have stayed at Motel one several times now! It’s my fave hotel in Manchester to stay when I visit. From the beautiful lobby, to the great sized clean rooms and lovely customer service… I wouldn’t go anywhere else!! 10/10
Motel One is conveniently located next to Manchester Piccadilly Station and is thus perfect for visiting Manchester. The property itself hosts a lot of rooms and I have to say supports an impressive high standard of cleanliness. There is a bar and spacious lounge area and the staff are helpful and pleasant. On the down side, the "continental breakfast" was an utter disappointment. I was expecting something more and quite frankly shocked at what was on offer. Personally, I never touch cold meats and prefer to get my breakfast protein through something cooked. So, the only alternative was boiled eggs. More or less everything else was carbohydrates. Had I known this, I would have made alternate arrangements and not forked out an extra £14 for breakfast.
I would prefer to have proper mugs and teaspoons in the room, rather than paper cups, and a glass in the bathroom for toothbrush. I also think that there should be two bins, one in the room and one in the bathroom. Having to re-log into the wifi each day was a bit of a nuisance. Otherwise, everything was excellent and I will certainly be staying with you again.
Lovely as ever. But they need to decentralise the heating, anything above 21 is just painful.
I was very impressed with Motel One. The location is spacious and well laid out, on 10 floors with efficient lifts. The room and bed was comfortable and quiet, toilet and shower facilities modern and reliable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast had a good variety. As a recommendation, I would have appreciated some water in my room, and clearer signage where the cups and kettle were kept.
Lovely hotel, comfy beds and very helpful staff
Warm welcoming and great service from the reception!! Will definitely come back again!!!
Low cost, central location, comfortable bed and clean room. Staff were efficient and hotel was quite, despite city center location. Room is designed to absolutely minimise unnecessary space, so is quite small, but practical given the cost.
Very good quality budget price accommodation. I would definitely recommend it and use it again
We had an unexpected stay because of the weather, luckily they had a room for us. Our first stay with them, definitely coming back.
No issues from start to finish, friendly staff and clean tidy rooms adequate for a weekend break.
We had the most amazing stay and this hotel is perfectly located to the train station and in good reach of all amenities. Staff were friendly and fun too - we were made to feel very welcome. The room with the view was perfect. Great quality and price good too. We will be back for sure!
Great location close to station, and easy to catch tram. Clean, comfortable, stylish rooms, great shower.
All of a great standard as always, but I really, really don't like being asked why I’m visiting at the reception. It seems to have become part of the standard check in process for some reason, but it is really intrusive and unwelcome - people visiting for funerals or other difficult events, or who are just tired after a long journey shouldn’t have to deal with this especially. I just want to check in, not tell people my private business. Please stop doing this.
Jack was excellent with us. It was my wife's birthday and he upgraded our room so we had the best view in the hotel and gave a free birthday drink at the bar.
Awesome hotel close to Piccadilly train station and central to all amenities, clean and tidy, friendly staff, would definitely stay again
The hotel was clean and the location was good. The main disappointment was that the bar didn't serve draught beer and the bottle I was given was warm.
I was disappointed with numerous aspects of the hotel. Mainly the lack of basic facilities and amenities within the hotel room itself. Firstly I had issues completing the online check in; the website was unresponsive. Upon arrival it was unclear where to pick up key so I just asked at the desk and checked in the traditional way. Upon entering the room I was surprised to see how small and compact the room was. There was no wardrobe but there were hanging rails, however there was nowhere to put other small items of clothing (underwear etc). There was a lack of furniture and surface area to put other items, there was no USB points to charge devices (it states on website USB desks) no bedside table. I was extremely disappointed to find that it was paper cups for tea/coffee in the room. I have never stayed in a hotel where the cups are paper. We were only given very limited choice and milk for these drinks too. The bathroom was compact, functional but the toiletries on offer were again very limited, no body lotion no shampoo or conditioner. The shower gel pump was broken. I found the shower tray to be slippy once wet, this gelt dangerous. No extraction in the bathroom either. The free wifi kept buffering. On arrival we were told the bar was unavailable due to the theft of the i pad earlier that day. Later on we were given the option to purchase certain drinks and to pay cash only. I feel this problem could have been easily rectified; we could have been offered to charge to our room as the hotel had our card details. This was extremely unprofessional. I paid £250 for 2 nights and feel this was not value for money; far from it. I will definitely not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to others. My friend also had a room, this was her 3rd visit and she vowed not to stay here again. Overall very disappointing
Lovely hotel in excellent location for our onward journey from Manchester Piccadilly. Room was quiet and staff on check in desk were friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay here again. Great value for money also
Friendly staff, clean hotel and great location
The beds are comfy the staff are absolute angels. I stayed for my anniversary with my fiancée and two friends in the room beside for a week. They gave us drink tickets for the occasion which was so unnecessary but so lovely. Definitely recommend would stay again.
Stayed before travelling to the airport. Would highly recommend. Great modern hotel. Very friendly staff. Brilliant location and fantastic value for money. Will definitely be staying again
Staff are always helpful here and the convenience of this hotel for visiting Manchester or stopping before a flight from Manchester Airport is super great.
Great location right next to Piccadilly station. Maria, the receptionist, was extremely helpful and very friendly too. Room just right.
Great location, clean rooms and helpful staff . perfect for a nights stay in Manchester
Overall, everything was fine room and reception wise. However, as in the previous new years eve, my wife and I were looking forward to an evening of drinks and cocktails in the hotels bar area. We were very disappointed to find the bar was cash only and offering a very limited drinks service. Rather than enjoying our night in the bar we had little alternative other than to go back to our room as we had no cash with us. A very disappointing end to our two night stay.
Great location, great price, 120 for 2 nights so we could watch the football, asked for a price in July, on a Thursday, 180 👀 only negative
The Hotel is excellent but the online check in system is poor to the point of unworkabale
Overall a great hotel.👍👍I had booked in as a guest on Sunday afternoon and on Monday afternoon after returning from city trip I wanted to reserve a taxi. Due to the match on Monday evening which we also went, there was a HUGE line for the check-in. I understand as people arriving for game but there should be a sign for already booked hotel guests? Instead I came down several times to see if queue was smaller without luck. I went to bar but bar person said join the queue 😔!!
We were more than happy with all aspects of our stay here, friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean, great value and location.
While we appreciate the efforts of the staff, we encountered several communication issues during our stay. The payment receipt indicated we had two breakfasts included, but the app showed no breakfasts. Additionally, the website and in-room literature stated breakfast started at 06:00 on weekdays. However, the desk clerk insisted it was 07:00. Fortunately, the breakfast service did start at 06:00, which was essential as we had an early train to catch. Having said that, it was an excellent breakfast. Moreover, despite having paid for the room on arrival at 13:30, we still had to queue to check in at 15:00 though this could have been done when we paid as it was very quiet.
Perfect for what we wanted
Very clean, spacious with friendly staff in great location. Nice relaxed ambiance.
Friendly staff, easy check-in, comfortable room, great location for Manchester Piccadilly Station
Really lovely hotel, friendly staff and clean room, our train was cancelled last minute so we had to drive staff were helpful with parking
Great hotel👍🏻 great price 👍🏻
The room and facilities were great, but the lack of TV English channels was a big minus
Most of the staff are friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast, fresh juice and hot drinks are included. They provide kettle set in room, I stayed this hotel in other country before but they did not have it. I really enjoyed my stay here and will recommend this hotel to my friends :)
Dejlig beliggenhed , dejlig værelse. Rent og sødt personale

Manchester Bee: dit Motel One i Biernes By
Lige over for hotellet ligger byens vigtigste station, Piccadilly Station, hvilket sikrer nem og hurtig transport til bl.a. Salford Quays og Manchester Lufthavn.
