I didn't like the breakfast -- there were no hot meals by choise. And I misssed the kettler and tea in a room

You have to have additional internet routers as a backup, so you may fix internet issues quickly.
Very good room: conditions great (felt like we were one of the first guests), cleaned with eye for detail. Not big, but efficient furniture and fixtures, i.e. enough sockets, cloth hangers etc. Quiet. Comfortable bed. 👍🏻 Breakfast below par, mainly due to worn out, dirty and very uncomfy low chairs. Breakfast lounge untidy and very hot. We preferred having breakfast at the backerei next door. Nice and attentive front desk staff. All in all a very nice stay, thanks!!

Rooms to the streets are noisy due the the very noisy tram. First room was a corder room (522) with double noise, after compaining got a better with only on street side, so I could sleep.

I had to checkout at 5am, and the prepared lunch box on the day of checkout was very sweet. I don’t remember her name but the staff who checked me in was very friendly and helpful!

A brilliant concept well executed! You get what you need in an effective and well designed way! Friendly personal all over the house, but special mentioning to the bar staff. The roof top bar ist brilliant, but the staff breathed live into the room. Fantastic experience! A few more fantasy around the breakfast would be nice. Very continental… Update your murals, you are offering things that are not available! The homepage is sh**! Booking is slow, didn’t work in terms of paying and price, had to call. Friendly staff again helped. Online Check in didn’t work… I registered, never got my free breakfast… So fantastic in brick and mortar, loosing points online.
I think you have a bed bug problem as I got bit during the night that I stayed at your hotel.
Overall good but two points I would like to mention. It would be niche to have a piece of furniture in the room to store clothes. The open wardrobe concept might be from design and maintenance point of view, nice, for the hotel staff but in the case of a longer stay one actually needs to live out of the suitcase. The waiter that served us in the bar lacked basic principles such as knowing how to serve drinks. We came across the same person when trying to leave the lift at the reception, where this person was trying to get in before we were able to get out. In addition there was a queue of guests behind the mentioned person. A guest minded person acts differently.

Reliable service and standard across the board. When in doubt, a place to go to without hassle and unpleasant surprise!
Very nice hotel, especially the rooftop bar. Strange that you can't take the stairs from reception to your room. The only option is to take the elevator. If you can't take the elevator, you have to leave the hotel and go to the back entrance to reach the stairs. Once you have your key card, it's not a problem, you always enter the hotel through the back door.

comfortable hotel - only my tv ( cnn and other channels did not work, radio did not work even after i told reception - long stay 8 days without tv ) and the breakfast disappointed ( no variation at all over 8 days - no way to order anything - )
Room was way too loud with the tram
The whole staff was very professional and friendly! When my phone slipped between the wall and the bed, Mathias came up and helped us. He was very professional and nice. The room was too cramped and we did not like the dark carpeted floor.

Nice and small. I like that it is not too much furtinure inside. For me it would be nice if 1. The working table in the room would be slightly bigger 2. The would be some convenient place for shoes.
The room was very nice and clean. The personal was friendly and helpful and the chairs in the lobby were comfortable.
Great experience. As usual a clean room and nice accommodations, this time I had booked for the wrong day and despite several big conventions in town the team managed to get me a room within minutes. Will definitely come again.
We love motel one for the most part. I don't like the pillows, they are to hard. My wife doesn't like the coffee mugs, she prefers to drink her coffee from a cup.
I missed charging my electric car in the parking garage. That should be standard these days.
Unplanned early check-in without problems or extra charges was really helpful for our trip schedule. The fireplace on the tv is annoying though

Plus: good bed, good shower, good breakfast, good bar, good staff, good location Minus: It is quite annoying that there isn't a good central stair that connects your floor to the lobby. Also, the only drinking "device" in the room is a paper cup. While I see you want your guests in the bar instead of in their room, this single paper cup is really very limiting your options. Also, there are some I think air conditioning units on the courtyard adjacent to my room. These are really Very noisy to the level that they hinder sleeping. Even with the windows closed, they are very audible and annoying.
Overall, it's a good hotel. But I feel you should keep water, cup, kettle and coffee in the room.

Very nice hotel and room, I only gave the rating a 7 as the room cleaner left the window half open and it was -10 outside and then very cold in the room when I came back. It also seems like the door cannot be locked from the inside, but perhaps my lock just didn't work.

online check-in did not work, needed to wait 10 mins for personal log-in because of only one person at the desk talkint to the receptionist, rooftop bar was really noisy, waiter there did not show up for a long time, portafilter coffee is available only from 11am ... still no option for charging for electric vehicles in the parking garage, a call on monday from home to ask an issue of paying modalities was answered very upset
I had a late arrival and I knew so. Therefore, I checked what was written and there was not any information available. At the arrival I could not enter and there was nobody answering the door phone. By luck there was a smoker coming out so I could get in the loby but there was nobody at the reception.

Vores hotel i Leipzig udmærker sig af flere forskellige årsager. For det første ligger hotellet ved Augustusplatz midt i centrum og dermed i umiddelbar nærhed af operaen, Nikolaikirken og koncerthuset Gewandhaus. Grassimuseum for bl.a. etnografi og kunsthåndværk samt Mendelssohn-Haus befinder sig ligeledes rundt om hjørnet. Den topcentrale placering midt i den indre by er dog ikke hotellets eneste trumfkort, for vi har nemlig flere esser i ærmet. Har du f.eks. prøvet at overnatte på en vaskeægte postcentral før? Det tænkte vi nok! Men nu får du muligheden – vores Motel One Leipzig-Post er nemlig rykket ind i denne fredede kultbygning, der tidligere husede Leipzigs postcentral. Postcentralen blev bygget i 1964 og tjente i mange år som central for telegrafi-, brev- og pakkepost. Allerede i det 18. århundrede og altså længe før postcentralens tid blev området brugt som station for diligencer og postryttere og senere for rigsposten.
Det var derfor heller ikke svært for os at vælge et passende designkoncept for dette hotel: Hvad ville trods alt være mere oplagt end at videreføre stedets traditionsrige posthistorie? Straks i receptionen mødes du således af et par gyldne posthorn og en elegant postkasse-installation, mens loftslamper fra Ingo Maurer og Gubi leder tankerne hen på telegrammer og postfanfarer. Disse fortidsklenodier virker næsten romantiske her i e-mailen og de lynhurtige digitale beskeders tidsalder. Fra bakkeborde designet i pakke-look til postkortcollager og tæpper med frimærkemotiv – på vores billige hotel i Leipzig er der masser af finurlige designdetaljer i postens tegn at få øje på. Selvsagt kan du se frem til samme høje komfortniveau, som du kender det fra alle vores andre Motel One hoteller.
