Amazing check in experience, super nice and efficient!
Overall a very good stay which met my expectations. A couple of notes for improvement: - Tea and coffee facilitiies in-room or access to free tea and coffee as in most other hotels would be great - Bar service was very chaotic as the hotel was very busy - perhaps consideer additional staff on shift to improve this.
First time in this Motel One in Cologne. Smart business hotel close to the city center. A little bit too croweded at b'fast. But never the less as always with Motel One, good experience.

Hotel is good, only the rooms are to warm and cooling wasn’t working. Opening windows for room at the front due to road sounds is not ideal.
Motel One: Best choice for my business trip all around Germany
very nice service, at the reception, during breakfast and cleaning. The breakfasts were very tasty, I'm a vegan and I had a wide selection of dishes. When there were no options, right after asking if they had more, it was immediately added. I didn't even have to say anything because I saw you reporting everything.

Very warm welcom by the receptionnist Manon providing us all the needed information. The room was very well soundproofed, beautiful and clean. We appreciated the beautiful bar to enjoy a dring by the end of the days and friendliness of the barman. A very good experience, hope to come back on day there, anyway I will recommend the hotel.

Very comfortable hotel, convenient location. Bright, clean rooms. High-quality taps in the bathroom. The only thing that caused inconvenience was the cold floor in the bathroom (we arrived on cold nights in September).

All was good except that the bathroom was not tidy, all the accessories were in the washbasin.
Clean and cost rooms and lobby. Especially the night shift team delivered a professional service while being super kind. Respect and thanks towards the team
Nice and comfortable hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable room including king size bed ,large t.v. nice bathroom suite and added bonus of a safety deposit safe in the room..
Motel One Cologne-Waidmarkt is a really nice hotel, well situated either for a leisure visit or business in Cologne. Good sized rooms with comfortable beds, a very good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.
I like the hotel, the style and the friendly staff in general. This time I had a room with a door that was quite difficult to close, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom the first night and I didn’t get any warm water in the shower in the morning.
Very kind and helpful staff. however, when it came to getting the free breakfast the next day with the voucher that was provided through the App, I found out the voucher had vanished from the app and the staff didn’t want to provide me with the breakfast, only willing to grant a new voucher for the next stay. Fortunately, next to me was another guest who told me he had the same experience during his last stay. So I had to insist and finally got a free breakfast (for one person). I think the app is deliberately hiding the voucher after checking in, but there is no hint how to use a voucher.
Good Check-in, great and quiet room with a large bed and wonderful bathroom. Also the breakfast was well organized and complete.
The hotel had everything I needed for my stay there. Comfortable bed, clean room, television in the bar to watch the Soccer EM, good wine and an adequate breakfast. Centrally located. Helpful staff. I was only sad that no one could find out the source of the music that playson the television in the rooms with the aquarium screen saver. They tried, but no one seems to know this information.
tolles Hotel
Standard of rooms and public areas of the hotel were good, very clean and high quality fixtures and fittings. We enjoyed using the bar lounge and outdoor seating area. I appreciate we arrived at a busy time but it was predictable with timing of arrival (7pm) and football game due in Cologne. Only one staff member on reception and long queue. However instead of entering a booking number to retrieve booking and price, they seemed to search my name for a long time and then came up with double the price for the 3 rooms I had booked. This was adjusted back to the original booking price but the process took a long time. Lesson for me to do the online check in instead. Although we would have still had to wait in the queue for a long time to get our keys. The reception team were helpful with our left luggage on the day of departure. We had not booked breakfast but the arrangements for adding this on and pricing were not clear once checked in and our first enquiry about it was not helpful so we had breakfast elsewhere. Difficult to find information about snacks/food from bar. As English speakers our own lack of German may have affected our experience.

Very good stylish hotel with a good atmosphere. Good location near the centre with transport options also close by. Rooms are clean and modern with good amenities, if a little small.

A very friendly and competent receptionist. Thank you, Mrs. Yalda!! I got a very calm place in the Hotel and could have the opportunity to work easy there. The Internet was not constantly connected, maybe because of stormy weather.
All good but german service allover is really slow comparing to finnish quality and making feeling that customer is no:1 and paying the salary.
Excellent location, I felt confortable inside the room. Everything were great in breakfast and in the room
This was my 5th time staying in Cologne and the 1st time I'm really, really happy with the hotel. Everything was perfect. My room was very nice and clean, the staff at the reception, incredibly friendly and helpful. But my favourite part was the breakfast, especially the eggs ;-)
As always I had a wonderful stay at Motel One.
