Excellent location Nice typical motel one rooms But very poor lobby and reception!
Clean, nice design, friendly staff, etc. But: - room 525 does not easily allow to open the window - in the shower, the the shower can not be fiexed so that water comes straight down, goes to walls - breakfast is under average related to the price of the stay
It was my second stay in Motel One in Graz. The staff at the reception were competent and friendly. The room was clean with perfect heating. The lobby was pleasant - and I could do some work there. Breakfast was very good I just missed porridge.

Location is great - all public transport passes through and there are lot of restaurants around. It is basically situated in the city center. They have all the necessities and the staff is always friendly/helpful. Breakfast is minimum - they could add more warm foods to it

Very nice hotel. Loved the location. Only disappointment was the papercups in the bathroom - I would have liked two glasses (in glass) to use while I was there.

Motel One is a generic hotel that provides a standardized to everything. Any guest for service beyond standard checking in/out requests are not available. The front-desk staff are not knowledgeble of what tourists may ask.
I was already 2x in the Motel1 in Graz and l was very satisfied- extraordinary location, very kind stuff, the rooms are great ,l just loved pillows and the madras:). I recommend to all my friends

Excellent service for front desk staff. The hotel lobby and rooms were beautifully decorated. The only thing I was disappointed in was I believed I had booked a twin room as a double/queen was not large enough for my husband and me. I was told you dont have single beds, so I believe then that because the way the bed cover is folded on the bed in the photos, it makes it looks like they are 2 singles pushed together so I got confused. Unfortunately, we did not sleep well for 3 nights as the bed was too small for us.
A friendly welcome, fast and efficient service, a lovely room and a great breakfast. I'll be looking to stay at Motel Ones in the future.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay! Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and located next to the tram terminal (but totally sound-proofed) so very easy to get to places from there. The only thing it needs is a bit more shelf space in the room - only 2 thin shelves, and the top one is difficult to reach if you're 1,60m tall!
I loved every moment of staying at your elegant hotel. During my working life, I've stayed in very grand hotels in Hong Kong, London etc and yours has an especial charm, the design is fabulous and the cost equally great. We will be back. I am traveling with my senior parents, and our stay at the Motel One was very pleasant. Location is incredible and the staff is very accommodating. We were very impressed with a Venezuelan woman who worked at the front desk, she was very friendly and gave us a lot of tips and info about the city. The only issue we had was with the safety box in one of the rooms, it seems that the previous guest left it locked so we couldn’t use it; we told front desk and they told us they would fix, but it didn’t happened. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay.

One of the best hotels in Graz
Our family had a great stay at Motel 1 Graz! The employees were very friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were great, the design is lovely, and it was very clean. We would definitely stay again!
Our second year visiting GRaz and Motel One. Staff at the hotel continue to be friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Hotel is spotlessly clean. We were room only as there are so many lovely places to eat in Graz. We upgraded to a "superior " thinking the room would be bigger. However this wasn't the case but related to the view.
We were very happy with stay, especially with the experience in dealing with the personnel. They were very friendly and accommodating the whole time. Thank you for your hospitality.

Good location in the center of the city, clean and well equipped as usual, nice people working here. nothing to complain. gamer good wifi 3rd floor.
I stayed one night in a single room. The shower was okay but I do not understand why the sink was on the other side so that the water needed long time to go away. At breakfast I missed single fruits as I do not like mixed fruit salads. This is also bad if someone has allergies. Wifi I did not use. Everything else was very good, especially style and interior.
Very central and dog-friendly modern hotel right in the center of Graz that also had AC. The staff were very helpful but what impressed the most was the selection of GINs and the variety of gin drinks they offered. If you love gin, you must stay here for that reason alone. We also have to mention the support staff who changed the sheets as our dog had easily soiled the sheets. But we hadn't even mentioned it.

The best staff ever! Very friendly and helpful. There was never a thing that they wouldn't advise or help with. My room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was small, but everything is bio and healthy. Location is just few minutes walk from main street and less than 10 minutes walk to Schlossberg.

I enjoyed my stay with Motel One Graz. The location was central and felt very safe which I appreciated as a solo traveller. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was no fridge or kettle in the room which was a shame. Something else to note is that on the weekend there is a nightclub across from the hotel which was loud but the music cut off around midnight. Overall I would recommend and stay there again.
Clean rooms - all basic amenities are included. The location is in the center and connectivity to trams is excellent. The staff is helpful and friendly.
No parking is a pain No cpffee/tea making facities in the bedroom is annouying, especially for the price. Breakfast was very expensive for what was general continental breakfast,
The room is not so big but enough for 2 persons staying overnight. Breakfast is more than enough for us. The staff especially Tamara, the front desk officer, are so very kind and helpful. The location is great, at the city center. It means, shops all around, public transport stations are just 2 minutes walk away. The only problem is the parking because there is not much places to park around the hotel. For local tourists like us, we usually travel with our own cars.

Graz er hovedbyen i delstaten Steiermark og er kendt for sin kulørte, charmerende, åbne og alsidige profil. "Nydelse" handler i den forbindelse ikke kun om kulinariske glæder, men dækker i høj grad også resten af sanserne. Fra kunst og kultur til græskarkerneolie: Byens puls er til at tage og føle på, uanset om det gælder musik, kunst eller kulinariske glæder. Og det så snart du træder ud af hotellet. Det tager højst ti minutter til fods at nå Graz' gamle bydel. Her kan du slentre ned ad Herrengasse og nyde synet af de pragtfulde barokbygninger. Undervejs kommer du ligeledes forbi det historiske våbendepot Landeszeughaus, der blev bygget mellem 1642 og 1647. De brostensbelagte gader og stræder fører dig forbi arkitektur fra forskellige epoker, indtil du til sidst står foran byens sagnomspundne klokketårn. Tæt på klokketårnet venter Schloßberg-bjergbanen, der transporterer dig op til toppen af Schloßberg. Takket være glaskabinen kan du se frem til smuk panoramaudsigt undervejs. Fra Schloßberg har du udsigt til dit næste mål: den flydende kunstplatform Murinsel. Murinsel er tegnet af New Yorker-kunstneren Vito Acconci og ligger midt i den brusende Mur-flod. I Murinsels café kan du nyde en velbrygget kop østrigsk kaffe, eller du kan besøge en af Murinsels mange spændende events og udstillinger. Men hvorfor egentlig vælge? Gør da begge dele!
Du befinder dig stadig tæt på hotellet, nærmere bestemt kun en enkelt kilometer væk. Vores tip: Spadsér gennem den urbane bypark, der befinder sig i forlængelse af Graz Universitet. Universitetet blev grundlagt 1. januar 1585 og er dermed Østrigs næstældste universitet efter universitet i hovedstaden Wien. Herfra kan du fortsætte turen i sydvestlig retning mod byens borg. Byggeriet blev påbegyndt i 1438 på vegne af den senere tysk-romerske kejser Friedrich III. Her står oplevelserne i kø: fra den kunstige sø Ententeichkurve til orangeriet og middelalderbyporten. På vej tilbage til hotellet kommer du forbi byens imposante opera, hvor tradition og moderne mødes i skøn kunstnerisk forening. Direkte foran den historiske operabygning står en frihedsstatue af stål, der er designet af Hartmut Skerbisch. Statuen blev oprindeligt rejst i forbindelse med en regional efterårsfestival i 1992, men er siden gået hen og blevet en fast del af bybilledet i Graz.
