two points of improvement: * hair dryer in the room was functional but kinda bad: low air volume, takes a long time to dry hair. the ones in motel one brussels are better. * lounge barkeeper seems understaffed, took a long time to get served.
you should make some rooms with 2 single beds and not all with double bed.
Overall very happy with our stay! We love staying at Motel One hotels! The only reason I didn’t give a perfect 10 is because we booked a double and we only had one duvet and one towel set. Not something you want to deal with when you fall into bed tired from a full day of travel. Kudos go out to the super friendly staff and bartenders at 2nd floor bar. 🫶🏼
Breakfast is very poor. no omelet or scrambled egg, and it the same every day.
I stay here every year because of the location and love the design, confort and roof top bar but this time check in was a disaster: we wait 45 minutes on a line because there’s was only 1 receptionist and there was like 20 persons on the line! I saw there was another 3 receptionist inside and even if I asked to call someone to help she said we must wait patiently….this is not the way to treat hosts and your reception is ALWAYS terrible full of people waiting. It’s impossible to ask anything to them because there’s always only 1 or 2 receptionist working when you should have 4.

Great location , clean , friendly staff & lovely rooftop bar. We arrived at 11am to leave luggage & staff member was really helpful & gave us a room that was available.
Very convenient location to visit Berlin, many restaurants only a few steps away and a ROOFTOP bar with a fantastic view on Berlin, really liked it ... and very friendly staff
Terrific room, great bed, great shower. Staff was fabulous, helpful and friendly. Location was excellent with S, U-bahn, busses, trams nearby. The rooftop bar was fantastic, good cocktails and panoramic view. The bar on floor 2 was equally delightful.
Thermostat did not work. No fridge or kettle in room
The Hotel is in excellent location and the breakfast is just amazing . The room is so clean and excellent service . Just the room is bit small . Overall great experience !!
Streamlined experience that is more apt to a factory rather than a hotel. I tried asking for a camomile before sleeping and the whole team acted like this was a weird request and ultimately could not find one in the whole hotel…

My first visit to Motel One in Berlin. Quit impressed, the location is great, rooms are very clean and big enough for two. Very nice Bar on the 2nd Floor - my wife and I enjoyed it a lot and we will come back!
The front desk staff was amazingly professional and helpful, they made my stay wonderful and check in was very smooth. I felt like I am in my home
Only problem which i had is unpossibility to connect tv with netflix and smart xaomi box

I would love to see a 'self check-in' terminal. Now I'm asked to enter all my details during the booking, during the online check-in and still I had to wait (due to a long que) and the employee needs 5 minutes to do some checks. I visit your hotel 6x a year and I would love to check-in faster / by myself.
I cannot fault the hotel. Reception staff were amazing, so helpful. Rooms were lovely and clean, breakfast was great. The 2 bars were so lovely and it was nice to be able to chill in them in the evenings. Location was perfect. Thank you we would definitely stay again.

Good hotel at a good price. Room was as expected, small but very clean and nicely modern. Perfect floor to ceiling view of the Fernsehturm. Roof top bar looked great but was sadly full. Only area that wasn't so nice was the main lobby - a tad dark and ragged around the edges. Staff were lovely.
Overall good hotel, however the location is bit noisy due to the closeness to a lot of train/subway-lines at Alexanderplatz. Breakfast is good, although the seating arrangements tend too strongly towards the lounge-style seating so that at peak breakfast hour it is difficult to find available seating that is actully intended for having a meal. In my case the bed was a combination of quite hard while also sagging in the middle which resulted in unrestful sleep and tired days.
I had a very bad experience during my 2 nights stay at your hotel. I was in room 8021 and in this one the air condition was not working, it was at the opposite very warm in there and I couldn't sleep with 28 degrees in the room ! I informed a man at the reception, he said that a technician will repair it but finally when I cam back to my room, the window was open and that's all what was done. The room was still very warm !
Great known service. At some momensts however the price gets out of the range I am used to pay at MotelOne.
The best room I ever had, 14th floor, corner room. What a view and what a treat. Other than that, the regular familiarity with being in a Motel One.
Modern hotel, with friendly staff located in central Berlin close to a train station. Clean comfortable rooms which was at a suitable temperature.

Top location and modern, functional hotel. The only strange thing was we had room on 18th floor and the door from elivator and bar entrance into room area was not locked. Any bar guest could walk into room area. Also strange how we could open the window 100% and it would be no problem to jump from 18th floor.
Breakfast area was very full, how about adding pancake machine?
The reception guy was really nice and welcoming and the room was super cozy and comfortable. Amazing central location. Will definitly come back when I get the chance.
Location is amazing! Right by the Sbahn. Reception Staff is super amazing and helpful. I had some issues which they catered to super fast. I owe my biggest thanks to the staff. The rooms are clean and view is nice. More amenities in the rooms would be great like ironing, fridge, or electric kettle.

Room was small but stylish. Check in and out was fast and efficient. Breakfast was very good. Only wish the hotel entrance had a ramp to roll your luggage.
For the price and reputation, I would've expected a better service overall. I was mostly busy with work, so didn't have a chance to follow through with the issues. Pros: - Great location: The hotel is conveniently located in Berlin Alexanderplatz, making it easy to access key areas of the city. - Friendly staff member: Farooq at reception was kind and empathetic, providing a positive interaction during the stay. Cons: - Unfriendly check-in experience: Check-in was handled by a staff member who seemed very unfriendly and unwelcoming, setting a poor tone for the stay. - 15-min wait for the check-in: Despite checking in online, I had to wait about 15mins because the staff member was booking a room for someone -- this should not have been the case in the special online check-in queue. - Room odor: The initial room had a persistent bad smell that did not dissipate, even with ventilation throughout the day. - Reluctant assistance: When requesting a room change due to the odor, the same receptionist questioned the issue in an unfriendly manner. - Housekeeping issues: Housekeeping removed a personal water bottle during the stay. Towel odor: Towels provided by the hotel had a strong, unpleasant smell.
Everything was just right: friendly staff, comfortable bed, great shower, tasty breakfast.
Very happy with my stay at Hotel Motel One. The staff were excellent. My room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. I would like to see a coffee maker added to the room. The two bars were very nice. I did not have breakfast but i did order from the snack menu in the bar. I look forward to returning.
Comfortable clean and quiet hotel in exceptionally good location for transport and exploring Berlin. Great breakfast choices and very smart top floor cocktail bar. Knowledgeable reception staff always willing to help. I’d go again without doubt.
Was not offered check-in water and free breakfast even though I joined Motel One program; desk staff did not allow my husband access to our room even though he was registered and in the computer and I paid extra for his stay. Upgraded room was as tiny as all the others. No amenities like mini-fridge or coffee maker in room. No bathroom amenities (hand lotion, Q-tips).
Very good hotel at excellent location. Like the design and the restaurants. The only thing missing are sports facilities or a cooperation with any of the gyms close by.
Overall ok, location is great, room size was extremely small, very basic equipment: no Tee/Coffee/Water in the room, no iron, no body lotion... Overall clean and nicely designed interior. Breakfast ok, no warm breakfast available (i.e. scrammbled eggs, porridge, pancakes etc)

Awesome location. Great lounge area. Friendly staff. Check in took a bit long and for unclear reasons, a lot of the check in crew were busy with other things than serving customer trying to check in…

7 Hurtig indtjekning virker slet ikke - havde lavet alt men stod i kø 20 min ved skiltet - så ringe. Morgenmad er ok men slet ikke 17 euro pr dag - alt for dyrt desværre
Meget tilfreds, beliggenhed er fantastisk, venligt og hjælpsomt personale, rengøring i top. Morgenmaden er dog lidt kedelig og kaffen er mega dårlig. Personalet i baren er også lidt langsom, det tager en evighed at få drinks hvis man er en gruppe. Burde kunne gøres meget bedre. Men alt i alt godt, jeg kommer igen, men tager morgenmaden et andet sted.
Fantastisk beliggenhed, venligt personale, fine faciliteter, god bar og rooftop bar. Der mangler dog plads til morgenmad, rigtig mange mennesker på en meget lille plads, alle står i vejen for hinanden. Ellers alt fint 🙂
Vi er virkelig glade for at bo på jeres hotel. Det eneste lille minus er ved morgenmaden, hvor det kan være svært at finde siddeplads og ikke altid nemt at sidde i en sofa eller lænestol og spise. En lille hjælp kunne også være at I havde nogle små bakker, så man kan have både tallerkener, kaffe mm på en gang, så ville der ikke være så meget kø hele tiden. Det er kun små ting og vi kommer meget gerne igen.
Venlig og hurtigt receptionspersonale. Lækkert og rent værelse. Totalt stille. Lille dobbeltseng (enkeltværelse). Alsidig og god morgenmad. God beliggenhed. Kommer igen!
