I would love to see a 'self check-in' terminal. Now I'm asked to enter all my details during the booking, during the online check-in and still I had to wait (due to a long que) and the employee needs 5 minutes to do some checks. I visit your hotel 6x a year and I would love to check-in faster / by myself.
I cannot fault the hotel. Reception staff were amazing, so helpful. Rooms were lovely and clean, breakfast was great. The 2 bars were so lovely and it was nice to be able to chill in them in the evenings. Location was perfect. Thank you we would definitely stay again.

Good hotel at a good price. Room was as expected, small but very clean and nicely modern. Perfect floor to ceiling view of the Fernsehturm. Roof top bar looked great but was sadly full. Only area that wasn't so nice was the main lobby - a tad dark and ragged around the edges. Staff were lovely.
Overall good hotel, however the location is bit noisy due to the closeness to a lot of train/subway-lines at Alexanderplatz. Breakfast is good, although the seating arrangements tend too strongly towards the lounge-style seating so that at peak breakfast hour it is difficult to find available seating that is actully intended for having a meal. In my case the bed was a combination of quite hard while also sagging in the middle which resulted in unrestful sleep and tired days.
I had a very bad experience during my 2 nights stay at your hotel. I was in room 8021 and in this one the air condition was not working, it was at the opposite very warm in there and I couldn't sleep with 28 degrees in the room ! I informed a man at the reception, he said that a technician will repair it but finally when I cam back to my room, the window was open and that's all what was done. The room was still very warm !
Great known service. At some momensts however the price gets out of the range I am used to pay at MotelOne.
The best room I ever had, 14th floor, corner room. What a view and what a treat. Other than that, the regular familiarity with being in a Motel One.
Modern hotel, with friendly staff located in central Berlin close to a train station. Clean comfortable rooms which was at a suitable temperature.

Top location and modern, functional hotel. The only strange thing was we had room on 18th floor and the door from elivator and bar entrance into room area was not locked. Any bar guest could walk into room area. Also strange how we could open the window 100% and it would be no problem to jump from 18th floor.
Breakfast area was very full, how about adding pancake machine?
The reception guy was really nice and welcoming and the room was super cozy and comfortable. Amazing central location. Will definitly come back when I get the chance.
Location is amazing! Right by the Sbahn. Reception Staff is super amazing and helpful. I had some issues which they catered to super fast. I owe my biggest thanks to the staff. The rooms are clean and view is nice. More amenities in the rooms would be great like ironing, fridge, or electric kettle.

Room was small but stylish. Check in and out was fast and efficient. Breakfast was very good. Only wish the hotel entrance had a ramp to roll your luggage.
For the price and reputation, I would've expected a better service overall. I was mostly busy with work, so didn't have a chance to follow through with the issues. Pros: - Great location: The hotel is conveniently located in Berlin Alexanderplatz, making it easy to access key areas of the city. - Friendly staff member: Farooq at reception was kind and empathetic, providing a positive interaction during the stay. Cons: - Unfriendly check-in experience: Check-in was handled by a staff member who seemed very unfriendly and unwelcoming, setting a poor tone for the stay. - 15-min wait for the check-in: Despite checking in online, I had to wait about 15mins because the staff member was booking a room for someone -- this should not have been the case in the special online check-in queue. - Room odor: The initial room had a persistent bad smell that did not dissipate, even with ventilation throughout the day. - Reluctant assistance: When requesting a room change due to the odor, the same receptionist questioned the issue in an unfriendly manner. - Housekeeping issues: Housekeeping removed a personal water bottle during the stay. Towel odor: Towels provided by the hotel had a strong, unpleasant smell.
Everything was just right: friendly staff, comfortable bed, great shower, tasty breakfast.
Very happy with my stay at Hotel Motel One. The staff were excellent. My room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. I would like to see a coffee maker added to the room. The two bars were very nice. I did not have breakfast but i did order from the snack menu in the bar. I look forward to returning.
Comfortable clean and quiet hotel in exceptionally good location for transport and exploring Berlin. Great breakfast choices and very smart top floor cocktail bar. Knowledgeable reception staff always willing to help. I’d go again without doubt.
Was not offered check-in water and free breakfast even though I joined Motel One program; desk staff did not allow my husband access to our room even though he was registered and in the computer and I paid extra for his stay. Upgraded room was as tiny as all the others. No amenities like mini-fridge or coffee maker in room. No bathroom amenities (hand lotion, Q-tips).
Very good hotel at excellent location. Like the design and the restaurants. The only thing missing are sports facilities or a cooperation with any of the gyms close by.
Overall ok, location is great, room size was extremely small, very basic equipment: no Tee/Coffee/Water in the room, no iron, no body lotion... Overall clean and nicely designed interior. Breakfast ok, no warm breakfast available (i.e. scrammbled eggs, porridge, pancakes etc)

Couldn’t sleep due to lift traveling up and down the whole night long. Day after was terrible.
It is a nice hotel and good location. Long queue to check in for some of my colleagues. I would like to have some scramble egg and bacon as a choice for breakfast ;-).
The quality of the room and the info from the receptionists was superb. Other matters will come up here. Queues for breakfast is inexcusable, pained me to see it, not top class. Why?? Though reception was fab in giving ideas and info, when there were queues of incoming, the area was horrid and access not really good enough. The queue situation seems to be almost a "failure". Which brings me to one of the worst experiences in any hotel (I actually wrote this complaint to your Berlin hotel but NO-ONE ever answered!!). I went for a drink to the bar and then, alone and very obviously in the eyeline of all the 3 main staff, I waited to be served. NO_ONE served me for over 15** minutes and I left without my drink but a very sharp word to one of the ignoring staff! Time-wasting and terrible! Question:> Will anyone address this** specific complaint??? Much else was seriously very good!

Good location, lovely bar area, good breakfast, but the reception was understaffed and the amenities in the room minimal. I would love to have a kettle to make tea, a fridge and a dressing gown in the room.

I always love the cleanliness and friendliness in the Motel One hotels! I am only missing a fridge and a kettle in the room. The breakfast could use some hot meals – the only hot thing to eat currently is boiled eggs.

After a lot of travelling, I arrived feeling tired and cross, but the warm, friendly welcome from one of the staff at Reception made all the difference. All the staff I met over the next few days were lovely.

Check in process was smooth with friendly staff. Room was comfortable, although air conditioning did not work. Coffee making facility would have been nice. Disappointed that breakfast area was full when I turned up so I had to wait and return half an hour later.
Well, I was to be honest disappointed. This hole design stuff I realise is part of your concept but - you miss out completely on what a stay in a hotel means. No kettle in the room? Really so I can not make myself a coffee or tea, without leaving the room? The rooms are for the prize well to small and when I stay with 2 persons we had only one armchair. So were the 2. persons suppose to sit? Where I put my clothes. Well to say it with a little joke, we survived one night and will in the future be in the classic hotels again, when I spend so much money for a night, its not only about the bed. If it would be only about the bed, I go in a hotel in a 10 people sleeping hall....I would not recommend it - but for sure I understand that they are people love the concept of having nothing, what a hotel room should have and be happy so -to sum it up, this concept is just not for me. -and I get a completely different experience for the same price also iBerlin - now that I know the concept -
7 Hurtig indtjekning virker slet ikke - havde lavet alt men stod i kø 20 min ved skiltet - så ringe. Morgenmad er ok men slet ikke 17 euro pr dag - alt for dyrt desværre
Great location, rooftop bar, and customer service. I would've liked the TV to have the option for apps, or English closed caption so we could have watched TV while we relaxed. Also, I missed having a coffee pot and fridge. I understand that keeps the cost down, but those 2 things would've made it much more enjoyable. The bathroom shower was great, except it would have been nice if the glass on the shower door was wider so the water wouldn't splash onto the bathroom floor, and it would keep the overall shower warmer. I did really enjoy the hotel though! Just sharing a few things that would've made it extra enjoyable.
The room is fairly small size that I can't open my luggage flat on the floor. Another problem is that there's no electric kettle in the room.
Bottle of water and early access to room was a bonus. Great location - very close to train station. Room was clean, however, room was extremely small. King bed, one small chair and table - you could barely walk around the bed. No closet or drawers. Tiny tables next to bed - no room, except for on the floor, for CPAP machine. No shelf in bathroom for items. We had 2 large suitcases and could only have 1 open on the floor. Room was very warm even with A/C turned down all the way. Unable to open window due to chair/table being in the way. Breakfast was not good - very limited and nothing hot - basically a limited continental breakfast.
The rooms were really nice and beds were comfortable. View was also great but rooms are very small. Good location. Its near the train station and subway. The AC does not work well. There is no refrigerator. The toilet also does not seem to flush well.
Couldn’t control the temperature in the room - too warm. Inhospitable for grabbing takeout and finding an are to eat with a group and relax together. Check in took forever - not enough staff to handle crowd. No 24 hr coffee available. Great location though!
The hotel was excellent and staff attentive. I checked in very late and having advised this in advance was no problem.
during my colleague and my stay, room 15025/15027, both rooms were invaded without any notice and knock by your servants, and without any apologize, it's terrible and high risk! I will not recommend any person of my group to stay in this hotel
Meget tilfreds, beliggenhed er fantastisk, venligt og hjælpsomt personale, rengøring i top. Morgenmaden er dog lidt kedelig og kaffen er mega dårlig. Personalet i baren er også lidt langsom, det tager en evighed at få drinks hvis man er en gruppe. Burde kunne gøres meget bedre. Men alt i alt godt, jeg kommer igen, men tager morgenmaden et andet sted.
Fantastisk beliggenhed, venligt personale, fine faciliteter, god bar og rooftop bar. Der mangler dog plads til morgenmad, rigtig mange mennesker på en meget lille plads, alle står i vejen for hinanden. Ellers alt fint 🙂
Vi er virkelig glade for at bo på jeres hotel. Det eneste lille minus er ved morgenmaden, hvor det kan være svært at finde siddeplads og ikke altid nemt at sidde i en sofa eller lænestol og spise. En lille hjælp kunne også være at I havde nogle små bakker, så man kan have både tallerkener, kaffe mm på en gang, så ville der ikke være så meget kø hele tiden. Det er kun små ting og vi kommer meget gerne igen.
Venlig og hurtigt receptionspersonale. Lækkert og rent værelse. Totalt stille. Lille dobbeltseng (enkeltværelse). Alsidig og god morgenmad. God beliggenhed. Kommer igen!
