Hotel location is excellent for the RAI conference centre. Room albeit on the smallish side was very stylish, bed very comfortable and fantastic shower. Had 2 good nights sleep. Continental Breakfast but plenty of options. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, especially at this Christmas time. The rooms are small, but neat and clean. The staff at the reception as well as in the coffee bar are super friendly and do their job perfectly. Pets are allowed and that is a big plus. The only complaint I have is that the windows in the room cannot be opened. Also a big complaint is that the price does not include breakfast and a parking space. It has to be paid for separately, and the prices are not realistic. I believe that breakfast and a parking space should already be included in the price, because the price of the motel is inflated, and they do not offer other facilities, e.g. gym, something for fun, etc.
The first day was the room a little bit to cold, even though the a/c worked with 30° at arrival. We would appreciate it if there were other options for breakfast besides boiled eggs.

Much about the access and cleanliness was truly very, very good. I will use your place again. Outstanding for me was the friendliness and efficiency of the breakfast staff. They went out of their way to smile and engage, do what was needed and proceed with their work. FAB! As you see below, in the numbered lists, most of the stay was more than satisfactory. BUT the receptionist on the Friday, the person for my arrival was disgraceful in attitude, though not action. This Irish [she told me] lady had the audacity to say this: "Only stupid people smile for no reason." That is an insult to customer service, an insult to your brand, an insult to me who tried to lighten the atmosphere of arrival, an affront to those others around the hotel who strove to be friendly and to give an air of welcome, hospitality and approachability. Most of all it was an appalling insult to those folk who are not blessed with our kind of "awareness" such as Downs people who smile as part of their cherished lives. I got all the basics I needed from her, but it was a sullen, cheerless experience leaving my arrival with a bitter taste. Is that what you train your staff for? Does she embody the Motel One ethos?
We come here regularly and are very satisfied with this hotel. Close to metro, tram and train station, so perfect for visiting Amsterdam and the surroundings! We only have one small suggestion for improvement. The chairs for breakfast are too low for most, and most places are pretty dark as well. Our age (55+) will play a role here, but the only comfortable places we found to have breakfast are at the big wooden table. Next to that, everything is really fine! We will certainly return!
Very small room, staying as a birthday celebration and advised the hotel, nothing was done not even a free coffee! Received an email prior to arrival advising of some lovely room touches but didn't apply to our room unfortunately.
Check in was smooth. Room was clean an the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good with a rnage of options. Located close to the metro. Overall, a really good experience. Would recommend.

Good motel, got what you'll need, a bed, shower and toilet. Didn't liked the fact I couldn't open a window for some fresh air, also the shower got quite some water on the shower room floor since it was a open walk in shower. Would be nice if the bar was open till later (closes at 01:00am). Breakfast was basic, would be nice to have some scrambled eggs.
Very good check in experience. Comfortable bed. Easy location for Uber to find us. Close enough to the airport. Good breakfast. Hassel free checkout.

I think it was fine for the most part. Wasn't fully aware that housekeeping had to be requested on demand, since on my bedroom the information I had was to skip, not request, housekeeping.

I enjoyed my stay but was disappointed the safety deposit box was not in operation. The staff were all very pleasant. A complimentary map was not available so that we could plan our visits. The room was very nice, but arrangement of bedside storage rather awkward ie for an alarm clock etc. I cannot comment on chamber service as opted to use green tag. Breakfast, delicious albeit rather expensive. All in all it was an enjoyable stay.
We had a fantastic stay, close to everything especially train and metro. Lovely clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again, staff very friendly and happy to help with any enquiries.
Too basic for the price - very small room, beds were okay but very few amenities. No coffee or tea facilities, limited bathroom toiletries etc. It all felt a bit budget. Breakfast too expensive. We have stayed in Motel One in Manchester x 2 and Berlin and these were of much higher standard than the Amsterdam one. Reception could have been more accommodating to us asking for a late checkout, considering we missed our first night due to a cancelled flight.

I was there for a conference at the RAI. It is very close to the RAI. potential improvements: - material to iron cloths - a a small fitness - consider to offer diner - secure internet connection
Motel one consept is really fantastic. One night room price is moderate, so staying in Motel one is very good value for money. Lobby, bar and rooms are decorated really nice way. Room was super clean and lobby staff was kind and sunny :) I have stayed now in two different Motel One’s and I can really recomend you. See you on next time.
The check-in experience was awful as the agent was not trained. She overcharged me. I am now having to call you back to attain a refund. Also I asked for the invoice to include my company address, and she spent 15 minutes trying to add, and later I checked and it wasn't even printed on the invoice.

Nice hotel conveniently located near the RAI with very friendly & helpful front desk staff with great WiFi, however lacking storage space in the room (i.e. drawers and wardrobe) and quite pricey for the value.
The usual - nice, clean, well designed, friendly staff. Mistake - they told me they would clean but didn't, but it was handled well.

Comfortable room and beds. Nice premises. Difficult to have breakfast, too crowded and couldn’t pay in advance at check in but hostess didn’t let me eat without paying first. Very inconvenient because I was leaving for a meeting.

Good location, basic but good clean hotel however the managers and staff behind the reception are not upto it. They were not interested to register both our passports, then refused to let me in at 5pm on check-in day because they only took my partners details on arrival at 10 am, can you believe it!!!!! Poor accounting and they leave problems pending instead of solving things on arrival. Very very disappointed with the staff really. Breakfast rather good. Nice lively cozy entrance. Room desperately needs two small bedside tables.

Clean, comfortable and lovely staff. Good to have a cheaper hotel option with easy access to central Amsterdam & to the airport. It would be better if access were given to central coffee /tea making facilities, as there aren’t facilities on the room.

Extremely pricey for the service received - we chose this hotel for its proximity to the city and airport and dog friendliness. Our experience: - we were mostly treated by staff with „just do this quick and get out of my sight” attitude - we had a lot of confusion during check in - I’ve shown my reservation info, I was told it was not paid for, even though I provided my credit card information - this was true, but relayed to us in a way that made it confusing - we got a keys to our room, which turned out to be somebody’s room. At that point I completely lost trust to the hotel, as this means that hotel reception can just give keys to our room to anyone, and we and our belongings are not safe at all - after the mistake was corrected and we got keys to a truly empty room, our stay in the room was good, it was clean and fairly comfortable. - due to us having a dog, we weren’t allowed to sit in a lobby during breakfast hours. We sat outside, which wouldn’t have been an issue if only we could avoid all the smokers - check out was painful due to parking validation - we lost 20 minutes waiting in a queue. It should be automatic, I should be able to drop off my room key and tap my credit card when leaving the parking
Service not up to standard, inconceivable to have to wait 15 minutes for the 12 noon shift change at reception. Room service totally absent, no minibar, no courtesy set. The price is excessive, but with the poor service it becomes absurd. Overpriced breakfast for the little variety on offer. Toilet was broken upon arrival, when bringing it up to fd, the agent was friendly but seemed unsure how to handle the situation, until i requested he stinky give us a new room while they fix the old one. We had to stay an extra room and our keys got deactivated at checkout time, even tho i was told they wouldn't. Needed to get keys activated, which is an extra trip back and forth. Lounge staff overall very friendly
I was working at the Rai so this hotel was ideally situated. I was very impressed with the standard of the interior design of this hotel and definitely would have liked to have stayed longer. Only one improvement I would like to see and that would be draught beer and not just bottles at the bar but this did not spoil my excellent stay.
Warm welcome in this modern hotel south of Amsterdam but minutes away from excellent transport connections. Friendly and helpful staff, good bar to spend time in and good area for conference centre, restaurants and a local park. It would have been nice to have had a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities plus a modest snack in our room - we've never stayed anywhere before where these things weren't standard. Everything else was great. We'd definitely stay again
