This is our third visit here from Australia. We love this hotel and sitting the bar relaxing after sightseeing this wonderful city. The location is perfect, rooms are comfortable and quiet, staff are always welcoming and friendly.
The hotel is excellent, and the location is superb. The only issue for me is the curtains are not blackout curtains, so as soon as the sun starts coming out. I would get woken up.
In general, a very good and comfortable hotel. No warm dishes in the breakfast, except boiled egg, otherwise OK.

Very pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. location is top. the only thing I missed is a glass in the room. you get a complimentary bottle of water at check-in, very much appreciated, but then no glass to drink it.

We had to wait to check-in, but when it was finally our turn they were very friendly. The breakfast buffet did not have that much variation and no scrambled eggs or bacon. The bed was comfy and the bathroom clean. I would recommend and book it again as the location is great and the staff friendly and helpful. Finding your way in the halls was a bit difficult as there weren't a lot of signs. It was great that the motel had separate lifts for staff and guests so there were always plenty lifts available. The dimmer in the room was very practical. One of the bedside lamps was very unuseful and in the way. It would be nice to be able to make coffee and tea in the room. It was a fun experience to have staff members walking around the breakfast buffet offering you warm croissants and espresso while you were sitting down. The smokers area should not be directly in front of the motel as it is very offputting for nonsmokers and families.

This would bring the experience (and hygiene) to a next level and facilitate cleaning Shower with plastic floor cell is in general not a good experience in all motel one In general at motel one i always eonder why you guys never adress the problem with the horrible coffee. This is a worldwide problem. Get an expert to propose coffee with a good taste (eg alnatura own brand or DM in getmany -> its even better than illy or other with low acidity and not too roasted) make sure that the machines have correct settings for pressure and heat. If you add warm goat milk as an option you would be next level. I assure you its worthwhile to put more effort into. I doubt that there is additional cost but if there is its maybe 1 Eur which everybody would be happy to pay.

For the reasons I travel to Hamburg, which is for business, I find MotelOne the most suitable place to stay. The location is great, the Service is quick, the employees are friendly and willing to support.
Motel One—Fleetinsel is my preferred location in Hamburg. It has a nice ambience and friendly service. The bar is known for its very extensive range of gins. It is well located to Hamburg Harbour and Harbour City as well as to other locations.
Rooms are too small Hotel Rooms with carpet are not up to date Breakfast: tables too small Breakfast: where are the tablets to put all the things on it. Did not find, it is tedious to carry everything with the hands.

Hotel is in great loation, but the offering is definitely on the 'budget' side - although this is not necessarily reflected by the price. The lack of a simple drinking glas or a water kettle in the room makes the experience a little cheap - ok for one night. Unfortunately there was a strong chemical smell in my bathroom - I don't know what is was. I would have asked for a different room had I not noticed so late and if I had stayed multiple nights. Otherwise -everything was good. Staff was friendly.

Very warm welcome (asked me how my journey was and it seemed authentic). Nice room with balcony to the fleed. Next morning I just wanted a coffee, no breakfast and they gave it to me for free since it was "Nikolaus". Very nice gesture!!

Easy and quick check in an cosy rooms. I wanna highlight the friendlyness of the staff! Everyone was super welcoming and this is not a usual thing anymore.

MotelOne hotels are always same. No surprise at all. Comfortable and basic rooms for your needs. Very well located. Walking distance to main areas in the city centre.
The common areas of the hotel were much larger than we expected. While our room was small, it was very quiet and had wonderful amenities. The bathroom was larger than expected (from reading another review). Breakfast was outstanding. The offerings were varied and there was something for everyone. Coffee was delicious as were the breads and fresh fruits. Overall, we were quite pleased with our choice of hotels while in Hamburg.
Room directly next to the elevator shaft: I could hear noises from the elevator all night. I only slept 3 hours. I find the night manager at the reception to be a bit unfriendly and usually not very helpful. As was the case this time. I see him there often so he must be a valued employee. I find his junior colleagues are much more friendly.

It was not possible to get breakfast for 2 days from 3-day stay because of a very long queue. I had to cancel my breakfasts, which I ordered during my room reservation.
I was very pleased with the hotel itself - location, comfort, cleanliness, friendliness of staff and would recommend it. I was staying for 3 nights and would have liked to unpack, but could not because there were no drawers in the bedroom. The main problem for me was the website : 1) difficulty in booking and 2) locating the hotel, no clear map and no instructions how to arrive are given on the website. It is normal for any organisation to give directions eg by train, U bahn or by road. I think it is one website for all of your hotels and the only difference is the name of the hotel and price. This is not helpful. I had to email the hotel to ask for directions. Even then they directed me to the nearest station, but did not describe how to get from there on foot.
Great location, stylish, good value, friendly staff, clean, quiet room, comfortable bed. Could maybe improve the breakfast here and there but it does the job. This would be my first choice visiting a German city now.

Tak se zejména v Hamburku nazývají splavné kanály, které najdeme i v mnoha dalších severoněmeckých městech. A právě mezi dvěma takovými kanály – Herrengrabenfleet a Alsterfleet – se přímo uprostřed Hamburku nachází ostrůvek, který je nyní domovem i našeho hotelu Motel One Hamburk-Fleetinsel.
Od muzikálů až po miniatury
Z centrálního ostrova Fleetinsel můžete zamířit do všech koutů města, třeba na molo Landungsbrücken, promenádu Jungfernstieg nebo do čtvrti HafenCity. Během krátké procházky navštívíte známá místa jako hamburskou radnici, kostel sv. Michala nebo zábavní čtvrť v okolí bulváru Reeperbahn. Zejména milovníci kultury jistě ocení, že se náš hotel nachází v přímém sousedství Labské filharmonie. Také proslulý Speicherstadt je odtud jen co by kamenem dohodil. Společně s přilehlou čtvrtí Kontorhausviertel a fascinující budovou Chilehaus patří tento komplex skladovacích budov od roku 2015 ke světovému dědictví UNESCO a přitahuje tak pozornost všech návštěvníků Hamburku. Nezáleží na tom, jestli se vydáte pěšky uličkami mezi historickými cihlovými budovami, nebo vyrazíte na objevnou plavbu po zdejších kanálech. O zábavu tu rozhodně není nouze. Najdete tu také modelový svět Miniatur Wunderland, muzeum koření a – pokud vám při pobytu na čerstvém mořském vzduchu vyhládne – celou řadu kaváren, barů a restaurací.
„Perla severu“, jak Hamburk láskyplně nazývají jeho obyvatelé, nabízí opravdu bohatý program. To ale neznamená, že musíte za každou cenu zvednout kotvy a vyrazit ze dveří do města. Můžete si samozřejmě také udělat pohodlí přímo v našem designovém hotelu. Bohatá snídaně, Wi-Fi zdarma, pohodlné přihlášení a odhlášení z hotelu a pokoje s nejmodernějšími televizory s plochou obrazovkou a nejlepšími kójemi – tedy kontinentálními postelemi.
