Rooms not as clean as they were!!Service good in all areas, especially the Bar .
Poor breakfast. Lifts broken and had to go up and down 8 floors. Bad attitude staff.
Friendly ppl and comfy rooms. Terrific location that was actually quiet
I wouldn’t change a thing.
All was excellent !!!
Hotel is good but it is the staff that turn this into a great place to stay. Very welcoming and friendly front desk that were happy to help with requests. So often you feel like a burden in hotels. Keep up this mentality which clearly comes from management as this bring people back and word of mouth. I would definitely recommend to friends and family traveling to the city.
Great hotel in a good location in Zürich. Everything here is expensive but this seemed one of the more reasonably priced hotels. Rooms do not have a kettle or fridge which we would have appreciated but on the whole we enjoyed our stay.
The room and reception were great. Two notes to improve: 1. The toilet paper is far from soft 2. The faucet is really short w.r.t the sink
Thank you very much for your kindness and attention. As well as for the explanation and help with booking my next trip to Munich for upon registration
Decoration is not so nice and the property seems quite warn out
Clean, very comfortable, excellent (!) location, very nice breakfast. Would be nice to have a shelf or alike to put soap/shampoo/etc in shower.
Sorry, but for that price I have experienced much more level of service quality. Key observations: - breakfast 5 from 10 - Room service 6 from 10 - Location 10 from 10
Great location, great staff. But tiny room, not alot of amenities, no fridge. The shower is open, which makes water splashed everywhere.
Very expensive rate for mediocre service and amenities and
The only thing you can improve is a bigger table is someone want to work from room
Overall, my stay was good, but there are a couple of things that would make me hesitate to book this hotel again. The room was extremely small. I haven’t stayed in a room this tiny for many years, and there was barely any space to place my clothing or move around comfortably. Coffee availability was surprisingly limited. When I went to the lobby around 11:00 to get a coffee, I was told the bar was closed and had to go outside to find a café. For a hotel of this standard, I found it strange that guests can’t get a simple coffee at that time of day. These details affected the overall experience, even though the stay was otherwise pleasant.
V relaxing, quiet hotel. Room was comfortable, and staff were friendly.
The property is centrally located and the staff is very accommodating.
Only thing missing for me was option for laundry service, (silent) fridge in room, gym.
The maid entered the room without knocking on similar at 9.00am on checkout day; I think this is not acceptable, since checkout time is 12.00
Excellent
A very beautiful hotel with a great location. The breakfast is excellent, as well as the lobby bar, and the reception staff are extremely friendly and professional. However, the expectations I had based on the photos of the room I booked were much higher than what I actually received. The room was very small, as was the bathroom, although everything was tidy and clean. On the other hand, the bed was very comfortable. What disappointed me the most, however, was the lost and found department. When checking out, I accidentally left a few personal belongings in the bathroom. As soon as we left the room, the housekeeper was already there ready to clean it. When I realized about an hour later that I had forgotten something and contacted the hotel, unfortunately the items were already gone. Among them was a ring with no material value, but great sentimental value to me. If a hotel has a lost and found department, then the staff should act accordingly.
Nice hotel close to public communication options. Not sure why it was quite expensive compared to other similar hotels I visited at Munich in the past ... but probably it was 'busy' time at Munich because some other 'entertainments' or 'venues'. One thing I missed in the room was at least one real glass made of 'glass' because two paper kinda glasses were in the toilet - which is very disappointing - but I came prepared and came with my own glass made of 'glass'. Fridge was missing which is a downside - many hotels in this or lower level provide a fridge in the room. Besides that - all was OK. I also liked the lounge bar which had nice amounts of tasty drinks. The breakfast could be more diverse but it was at least good. People in reception and bar were very nice and helpful also. Thanks.
Frankfurt was our first stop after flying over from the U.S. Motel One Frankfurt-Römer was the perfect location. Plenty of sites within walking distance to stretch our legs after the flight, as well as restaurants and convenience shopping nearby. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Parking was convenient. Our room was almost perfect. It took us some time to adjust to the smoking culture. Unfortunately, we couldn’t have our windows open as neighbors were using the balcony for smoking. Just bad luck.
Disappointing - bathroom smelt unpleasant and the facilities were poor. Breakfast was incredibly disappointing too.
Very good hotel
I had an amazing time at Cloud One New York Downtown. When I first arrived, there was an issue on my end where I mistakenly booked my room for incorrect dates. Because I was in New York for work, I was very stressed about this issue. However, Elena at the front desk was able to handle it and was able to help solve this issue. I really appreciate her help as well as that of the manager’s (I didn’t catch their name). Overall, wonderful stay and will definitely be back when I need a hotel in Manhattan.
1) small room 2) no minibar/fridge 3) no telephone in room in case of emergency
The bed was very comfortable..most importantly. Facility was spotless, staff at reception, restaurant and bar were very friendly and helpful. And the location could not have been better. My first time at Motel One/Cloud but will not be my last.
I've stayed at this hotel in 2017, I like the location, my room was clean, and the reception was efficient and quick. However this visit, my experience was disappointing. My room had an unpleasant (bad) smell, unfortunately it wasn't possible to change room; after requesting the room to be better cleaned, it was better but the bad smell was still there. At check in, the receptionist didn't give me a credit card receipt (from the card machine), it wasn't possible to track down that receipt afterwards. As a result, I don't know the exact amount I was charged until I can log into my bank account to check.
Gym missing
Nice hotel, friendly staff and comfortable room.
The heating had been turned off and no one at the hotel had the ability to turn it back on. This was due to having a couple of sunny days in Scotland which is wet and cold for 80% of the time. We were freezing every day.
Great lobby and bar area (inside and outside). Room was totally fine only there was no way of cooling it (e.g. with air con or a fan), so it was too hot. Lilith on Reception was lovely and a real asset to the hotel.
It was generally a pleasant stay but unfortunately the otherwise mostly good experience was ruined at check-out. I checked out on May 7th just after 6:30am, asking the receptionist for a printed copy of the bill. To make sure, I had already asked at check-in if I could have a printed copy when I check out an they confirmed this. However, the receptionist at check-out claimed that it was technically not possible -- and worse, he was extremely unfriendly and clearly not service-minded. I asked him if they didn't have a printer that was working but he said it had nothing to do with the printer -- bills could only be sent via email. Clearly, this was a blatant lie because when I picked up my suitcase around 6pm, the receptionist who was now on duty had absolutely no problems printing a copy of the bill for me. Not a good customer experience. Other than that, I found it odd that when asking for an iron on the first day, the receptionist said they only had one iron and that I therefore had to bring this and the ironing board back myself as soon as I had finished. I've never ever stayed at a hotel where I've been asked to carry the ironing board and iron back to the reception myself. My colleagues were laughing and shaking their heads when I told them the story. I also noticed that outside the room opposite of mine, an iron had been placed outside the door -- where it remained for at least two days without anyone from the staff collecting it. Finally, the highlight of my stay: My watch had gone missing and I did not know where (I searched high and low) but apparently room service had found it -- they placed it neatly on the bedside table which I was very grateful for (I left a well-deserved EUR 20 note in the room as finder's fee).
It was alright, personnel was friendly, but we came to check in at 16:00 and although regular check-in is at 15:00, our room was not ready yet. Also, we only had cold water to shower the next morning. For such a high price I’d expect that everything is wirking fine.
Very friendly personnel. Very clean overall. Very easy and quick check-in and check-out. In case you visit for business, the free WiFi is performing super fast and good. Vegan options at the breakfast buffet, even though the buffet wasn’t too big. Very health oriented. Cozy lounge & bar area even though it is at the entrance of the hotel.
I booked at this hotel because it advertised a/c. It was hot and stuffy in our room. No fans available.
Kind staff, location, and room were great. The loud voices late into the night from the nearby hostel caused sleep interruptions and the bathroom setup was unusually awkward
Very nice location in the middle of Mannheim. Building nice, rooms nice, clean and comfortable. For a 10 rating the room would be nice to be just a little bit bigger.
Steam Iron was not good condition and water leaking from the Iron when it was heated.
Room next to elevators - noise all night long. General room is very cold, with air conditioning on all night to have heat in the room again - even more noise all night
excellent in all areas
Unfortunately we had no shower tray as we have had before for bottles etc in the shower, it looked like it had broken but had not been replaced
The hotel has a beautiful, stylish design with a very comfortable lobby area. The breakfast was excellent, the beds were comfortable, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff across reception, breakfast service, housekeeping, and the bar were all friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, we did have one negative interaction with a member of the reception staff regarding noise. While the concern itself was completely valid, the way it was communicated came across as unnecessarily blunt. Aside from that incident, our stay was very enjoyable. There are also a few small improvements that could make the rooms even better. It would be nice to have blinds in addition to the blackout curtains, and the bathroom ventilation could be a bit stronger. One simple change that could significantly improve guests’ comfort would be to provide any kind of basic female hygiene products in the bathrooms, rather than only disposal bags. This would be especially helpful for guests arriving late when shops are closed, and could genuinely save someone’s stay. If cost is a consideration and something else would need to be reduced, sanitary products would be far more useful than the tissues or sanitary bags currently provided.
Strategically based in the centre of Manchester, access to most of the sights, clubs and bars. Commercially sensitive pricing without compromising on quality and cleanliness.
Wonderful hotel, central location, friendly staff
The staff are what makes the stay
Friendly, warm reception. Efficient reservation process. Clean, well-appointed room. Large v comfortable bed. Bathroom spotless with spacious shower room and lovely organic scented hand and body wash products. Fairtrade Clipper tea bags. Like the sustainability/quality focus for these small but enhancing items.
I've stayed here a number of times and it's always been great. This time I paid for two colleagues to stay too. After attending an event it was nice to come back and relax and chat quietly in the ambiance of the bar, open until the early hours, before getting a comfortable night's sleep. And the shower the next morning felt wonderful!!
